Everything you need to know about child star Miah Madden who plays Charlie Levett in Paper Dolls

Miah Madden’s Paper Dolls character Charlie Levett is one of five young women who form a girl pop group called Harlow. But, who is the actress behind the role?

Miah has some experience with being in the spotlight; she had her first acting role when she was just ten years old in the film The Sapphires.

Two years later, in 2013, Miah played Athena Freeburn in the ABC series The Gods of Wheat Street. Since then, she’s starred in the ABC Me series The Unlisted in 2019 and the Channel 10 series Dive Club in 2021.

Aside from Paper Dolls, Miah’s most recent gig is playing the character of Max Dhurrkay in The Clearing, which was released on Disney+ and Hulu earlier this year.

Where is Miah Madden from?

Miah Madden is from Rose Bay in Sydney. She’s the daughter of Lee Madden, who was a Gadigal man with some Bundjalung heritage, and Belinda Kirkpatrick.

Sadly, her father died in a car accident when Miah was one year old. Her mother was pregnant with her sister Ruby at the time.

Miah’s relationship with Jessica Mauboy

Miah has a close link to Jessica Mauboy and the two first crossed paths when she played a younger version of the singer’s character in the 2012 film The Sapphires.

She later reprised Mauboy again in her 2013 musical video Never Be The Same.

Who else is in Paper Dolls?

Miah is joined by Emalia who plays Izzy James, Naomi Sequeira who plays Annabel Tonkin, Courtney Clarke who plays Jade Hart and Courtney Monsma who plays Lilian Milton.

The five women make up girl group Harlow on Paper Dolls, which follows their journey as they’re discovered on a singing reality TV program.
