The Love Island Australia 2024 cast has undoubtedly brought the drama to the Spanish villa while they’ve been there. However, they weren’t actually filming every day.
Understandably, the Love Island Australia cast needed some downtime to recharge while they were in the villa, and Bombshell Sophie Mills told Chattr in an exclusive interview what the Islanders did when they were given a break from the cameras.
“We did have a couple of down days. It was a very, very busy season because of how much drama and content we had. We were pretty great,” she laughed.
“We only got a couple of days where we had the downtime, but it was everything we needed.”
Sophie explained that on the Islander’s non-filming days, the men and women were separated from each other so that production minimised missing out on drama between the couples.
“We had a couple of days where we had no cameras, girls and guys separated, just to relax and sleep and get our sanity back before we’re back on to drama.”
The 22-year-old said the breaks often helped generate even more action on the show.
“When the boys and girls were back together, it was crazy again,” she laughed. “It was nice to have a couple of days off.”
Sophie dishes on Islanders who’ve claim they got a bad edit
During the interview, Sophie raved about how production treated her and the other Islanders and said that she believes the Islanders are represented correctly on the show.
“I do trust that Love Island [producers] aren’t there to make us look bad,” the first Love Island Australia female bombshell explained. “Basically, you’re there to show who you are.”
“If you’re actually doing things that you don’t want on TV, then that’s your fault,” she added. “It’s hard for them to portray you as a bitch if you’re not a bitch.”
We can’t get enough of this season!
