We got to know a lot more about Zara Callianiotis during Episode 5 of Australian Survivor 2025, with a sneak peek into the life of this highly accomplished stay-at-home mom of three.

During the episode, we learned that the Brisbane-based Brains cast member isn’t exactly living her best life when the group’s shelter failed to hold up against the elements.

“Our shelter is horrible, it leaks on us all night,” she said. Not to mention a miscalculation in rations only heightened tensions.

“I think we’re all waking up this morning feeling not our best,” she confessed.

Used to the finer things in life, Zara made no secret of the contrast between her usual luxe lifestyle and the harsh conditions of Australian Survivor.

“I came out here in a beautiful Camilla dress, giving housewife, fashionista vibes, and now my entire hair is almost matted to my head. This could not be anymore far removed from my regular life.”

So who is the regular Zara outside of Australian Survivor, and how much is the luxury lover worth? We did some digging and here’s what we found.

Australian Survivor’s Zara is a multi-degree holder

“Don’t let the blonde hair fool you. I do have brains behind that,” Zara shared on Australian Survivor.

In fact, Zara holds three degrees! In Political Science, Law, and Economics. Tell me you’re not worried about student debt without telling me you’re not worried about student debt.

“I’m a qualified solicitor and a qualified financial planner,” she revealed.

Beyond that, she serves as Vice President of her children’s school PTA and runs her household with CEO-like efficiency.

“My day is packing lunches, getting the kids to school, driving them around, but I’m also a really multi-faceted person.”

Her kids, she says, are her primary motivation for competing on Survivor. She told Network 10: “I want my kids to watch me on TV and just think I’m a badass. I want them to see me competing in challenges and think, ‘Yeah, my mum’s got this. My mum’s cool.’”

Zara’s logo-mania lifestyle

When she’s not roughing it on Survivor, Zara is living the highest of lives.

“I adore luxury. I love all the finer things: beautiful clothes, beautiful shoes,” she shared during Episode 5.

She’s not exaggerating. As seen in the episode, her school drop is done in style, cruising with the kids in an orange Lamborghini. For reference, the starting price for a car like the Lamborghini Huracan (for example) is around AU$384,187!!

Her Instagram is where the self-described “Hermès collector” and “Louboutin lover” flaunts off her seriously enviable fashion hauls and extravagant globetrotting adventures with her fam.

Looking at her Insta, Zara’s wardrobe must be insane. From Louis Vuitton mules (which look to retail around US$1,020 or roughly AU$1,600), 18K gold and mother-of-pearl Van Cleef & Arpels earrings, and, of course, her regular Hermès Birkin bag un-boxings.

By the way, Birkin bags apparently start at around €9,250 (approximately AU$15,200) and can go up to US$64,400 and more!

Yup, Zara clearly has a taste for the finer things in life. And the cash to boot. Speaking of…

Who is Zara Callianiotis’ husband?

Zara appears to be married to George Callianiotis, the owner and sole director of The Geocal Group, a building and project management firm.

According to Dun & Bradstreet, the company has an estimated annual revenue of $5.51 million.

Could this be where the big bucks are coming from?

So while we don’t know her exact net worth it’s safe to say Australian Survivor‘s Zara isn’t exactly strapped for cash. Must be nice!
