Well, Married at First Sight (MAFS) 2025 has certainly been dramatic, and we’ve already seen seven couples exit. Plus, we’ve got our hands on some juicy rumours about whether or not any MAFS couples are still together and who makes it to Final Vows.
Despite the drama that has hit our screens so far, the latest in this space is that this upcoming season could be one of the most successful yet.
How many couples from MAFS 2025 are still together?
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, MAFS 2025 is slated to end with a “record-breaking” number of successful pairings, with an impressive percentage remaining together at the time of writing.
“Everyone thought this season was a lost cause, but a surprising amount of couples have really pulled through and made it to the end of the experiment,” an insider told the outlet.
Which MAFS 2025 couples are still together?
Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou
Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou have serious physical chemistry and no problems in the bedroom, but it sounds like that wasn’t enough to sustain a long-term relationship.
A source told Chattr that the couple made it to Final Vows. However, they said that while couple agreed to leave separately, they still spent that night together.
Another insider claimed that Awhina wasn’t really into Adrian, saying: “A lot of people were just [on MAFS] for the air time… so it wasn’t a surprise at all [that Awhina wrote Stay after Friends and Family Week], because everyone who was there were there to be influencers, or they were actors.”
Their relationship was also tested during Final Test Week, when both Adrian and Awhina opted to meet an alternate match arranged by the experts. Guess they weren’t convinced they were perfect for each other!
Meanwhile, Adrian’s been on TikTok trying to convince his followers that he and Awhina are still together. On Valentine’s Day, he uploaded a video of himself giving Awhina a rose. The video then panned to the two reality stars looking cosy, with Adrian kissing her on the cheek.

On the same day, Adrian was also spotted picking Awhina up from a MAFS girls’ reunion in Melbourne, captured by Josh Fox from the MAFSfunny Instagram page and podcast.
The first rumours of Awhina and Adrian’s split came earlier this year, after Yahoo! Lifestyle reported Adrian was spotted holding hands with a mystery woman on Friday, January 31st.
“I was in the city on Friday night, see a bloke who looks super familiar — I’m like wait a sec, that’s Adrian from MAFS and he’s holding hands with a girl,” the source said.
“I then notice that it’s not the girl he got married to on the show and they were looking very cosy together.”
Adrian claimed the man was actually his twin brother, James, but has since come forward on the MAFSFunny podcast and admitted that it was him with a woman he casually dated called Geneva. Considering that the pics were snapped after the filming of MAFS 2025 had wrapped — paired with the insider info — things don’t bode well for the couple.
Verdict: Extremely unlikely that they’re together.
Carina Mirabile and Paul Antoine
Carina Mirabile wasn’t super happy to see Paul Antoine on their wedding day, because they’d already dated. After going on a hiking date, Paul ghosted Carina. Yikes.
While the couple seemed to have gone from strength to strength since then, an insider has told Chattr that Paul and Carina stayed until the Final Vows but broke up at the ceremony.
It looks like their relationship comes to an end during an “explosive fight” in Final Test Week, after the contestants are given the chance to meet another match lined up by the experts.
“Paul took up the challenge and Carina thought it was cheating, so she cried about it. This challenge basically broke up their relationship,” the insider claimed.
On top of that, a TikToker has posted what appears to be screenshots of a flirty conversation between her and Paul after he slid into her DMs in November.
With the shocking reveal recently that Paul punched a door during a heated argument with Carina, their seemingly strong relationship is definitely on the rocks, although Carina has said that she and Paul are on good terms.
The Grass is Greener challenge threw a spanner in the works, after Paul decided to meet his backup match Hannah for a date. Due to Carina’s religious morals, she considered this “cheating”.
They had a fierce argument with Carina saying she was “embarrassed” and told him to “pack his shit and leave”.
In another plot twist, Carina hinted in a Chattr interview in early February that she and Paul were still together.
“To be fair, my phone is going off, and I’m just enjoying life with Paul and all the rest of the cast that are my friends,” she said at the time, speaking about people in her life asking about MAFS drama.
We’re not buying it.

Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels
Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels looked low-key alarmed to see each other on their wedding day, because it turns out they’ve already been there, done that! The pair dated for about a month before things “fizzled out”, and their biggest challenge looks to be getting out of the friend zone.
While they were spotted holding hands while out and about back in September 2024, Rhi recently spilled some info about her Valentine’s Day plans for this year… and initially, there wasn’t a mention of Jeff.
“Us girls are getting together and having a Galentine’s Day, just catching up for a nice lunch for Valentine’s Day,” she told Daily Mail. “Not sure what we’ll do at night.”
However, the brains behind popular MAFS Instagram account and podcast MAFSfunny, Joshua Fox, staked out the girls’ lunch and spotted Jeff dropping Rhi and Carina Mirabile off, with Jeff giving Rhi a kiss goodbye.
The couple certainly seem like one of the most loved-up couples on screen at the moment, but there *could* be a bit of a hiccup when Rhi shares a bed with Eliot Donovan during the partner swap.
Even though there could be some rocky moments, another source has confirmed to Chattr that the two are still going strong.
Jeff and Rhi were recently seen looking pretty cute together as they celebrated Jeff’s 40th birthday in Melbourne. Daily Mail shared snaps of the pair holding hands as they walked down the street, so it looks like they’re still together!
Jamie Marinos also told Chattr that Rhi and Jeff are the real deal.
“Rhi and Jeff’s dynamic is just the complete opposite of what you’d find in the experiment, where it’s just not toxic at all. They’re just two people enjoying their time and being really kind to each other, which is really nice… there’s a lot of potential,” Jamie spilled.
A source also told Chattr that Rhi and Jeff successfully make it through Final Test Week without any hiccups, unlike many of the other couples.
Plus, an insider spilled that Rhi and Jeff make it to Final Vows and they say yes! Adorable!

Jacqueline Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly
Jacqueline Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly have been a bit of a disaster since day one. Ryan placed Jacqui third on the controversial photo ranking task, and it all went downhill from there. He referred to her as having “crazy eyes” before making a crude comment about their sex life to the boys. He’s a real keeper.
It looks like Jacqui and Ryan have since called it quits, as she revealed on Instagram that she’s dating someone new.
“I am currently in a relationship with a person who was exactly what I asked for — someone kind, considerate, a great man, and intelligent. Sometimes miracles happen because today I am in fact happy and in a loving long term relationship,” she announced.
According to rumours, the “great man” Jacqui has started a relationship with is none other than fellow groom Clint Rice. Scandalous! The pair are said to be living together in Tasmania.
The pair were papped by Woman’s Day last week as they went on a date in Tassie. They shared a kiss together over coffee and looked like they were in their honeymoon period as they walked hand-in-hand.
Somehow, Jacqui and Ryan do make it to Final Vows but decide not to stay together. It’s believed they have a big fight during Final Test Week after they both choose to meet alternative partners chosen by the experts.
Since then, Jacqui and Ryan have been throwing shade at each other on social media, and Ryan has even launched his own Instagram account to tear “down the wall of lies, misinformation and slander”. These two are messy, and it’s just going to get messier.

Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand
Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand had instant chemistry and seem like one of this year’s stand-out couples.
Jamie and Dave had each other’s backs during an explosive fight at the Couples Retreat, after Lauren Hall‘s insults come back to bite her. We love a supportive husband!
The couple have been doing interviews together, recently appearing on the Today show looking pretty comfortable with each other, could this be a clue?
Sadly, there’s now a rumour going around that Dave doesn’t have strong feelings for Jamie, and this is said to come out in the next few weeks.
“I think Jamie was more into Dave than Dave was into Jamie. It comes out in the next few weeks that Dave doesn’t have feelings for Jamie,” a source told Chattr.
Fans also noticed that Dave wasn’t following Jamie on TikTok.
However, Jamie assured us that the pair are “one of the strongest couples” in the experiment.
“I told him I loved him, and it’s me and him against the world,” she said. “Barely anyone followed each other on TikTok, and I actually unfollowed everyone on Instagram on socials, because you’re not supposed to follow anyone.
“It’s only the random people that found my TikTok account, it wasn’t anything against Dave. But also, the rumour mill thinks I’m pregnant, so I don’t really trust the rumour mill.”
An insider spilled to Chattr that Jamie and Dave make it to Final Vows and say yes. However, the source claimed this was just for TV and they broke up off camera.
“Dave never liked Jamie from the honeymoon. He wasn’t attracted to her. He didn’t like she didn’t like animals. There was a birdcage incident where Jamie was freaking out about the birds on their honeymoon, and he wanted to leave,” the source spilled. “It also came out that Dave wasn’t pursuing Jamie sexually and they stopped having sex.”
A body language expert also said that Dave had a “massive difference” when it came to his behaviour towards Jamie during the recent Commitment Ceremony.
“The whole time during this [couch session] Dave had his hand on Jamie’s knee. But as he did so, he was leaning away and even angling away from her. We lean into what we like, we open to what we like,” he said.
Jamie told the experts recently that she was no longer in love with Dave, and it looks like they don’t go the distance. Woman’s Day revealed she was spotted with a Dave lookalike on what could have been a date.
“She was comfortable to wear no makeup and cute activewear,” the onlooker said.
Yikes. We’ll just have to wait and see what plays out!

Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias
Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias joined MAFS 2025 as an intruder couple, walking down the aisle in Episode 14.
A major twist in the rumour mill early on, which threatened to throw a spanner in the works, was Teejay’s reported history with fellow bride Jamie — a detail she chose to reveal at Beth and Teejay’s televised wedding, no less. However, the revelation never made it to air.
Despite the potential drama, things seem to be going smoothly for the couple! Even for Beth, who has never been in a relationship before.
During their time on the commitment ceremony couch, Teejay described their connection as “smooth sailing.”
“We’re like two cups of still water,” he said… whatever that means?
“I wasn’t expecting to click with someone so quickly,” Beth added. Cute.
These two seem pretty drama free, but it means they don’t get much air time. So while they’ve been in the experiment for a little bit now, they seem like side characters.
Jamie told Chattr that Beth and Teejay were a “strong” couple, plus a quick Insta check confirms they’re still following each other, which is a pretty good sign.
However, a source claims the couple leave the show before Final Vows, which probably means they’re no longer together.
On top of that, Teejay has recently voiced to Beth that he’s not feeling a spark with her and doesn’t see a future for them. In an interview with Chattr, the MAFS groom said he regretted getting intimate with Beth before revealing his true feelings to her.
“Watching it back now, I think it was definitely the wrong decision [to have sex with Beth],” Teejay admitted. “I definitely don’t think that I should have even put forward the idea.”
Verdict: Inconclusive, but unlikely.
Eliot Donovan and Veronica Cloherty
Eliot Donovan was given a second with new bride Veronica Cloherty. He seemed smitten with her at the altar, but cracks started showing up after a couple swap scandal involving Rhi Disljenkovic, plus Veronica’s Honesty Letter, which was filled with comparisons to her Partner Swap match, Dave.
The couple arrived separately for the Episode 20 Dinner Party, after Veronica wasn’t happy with Eliot’s intimacy week letter writing task. Apparently, his memory of how distraught he was when his younger sister went into a coma wasn’t emotional enough…?!
Things finally came to a head in Episode 29’s Commitment Ceremony, and per what an insider also told Chattr, the two decided to call it quits, thus never making it to Final Vows.
Eliot and Veronica’s ongoing clashes were on full display, with Eliot accusing Veronica of “blatant lies” and admitting he felt she “hates his guts.”
While Veronica denied that, she stated, “I don’t think there was hope for this eventuating into anything more.”
Eliot said he could walk away knowing, “I really did give it my best shot.” So, at least there’s that I guess?

Lauren Hall and Clint Rice
Lauren Hall was given a second chance at love with professional golfer Clint Rice, and they looked perfectly matched. Clint even stood up for Lauren at their first Dinner Party, telling off her ex Eliot Donovan for being, well, a douchecanoe.
However, these two didn’t make it all the way. Lauren has made it clear she wants an “Alpha male”, which Clint is not. She doesn’t love the fact that he gets a spray tan and shaves his chest.
The couple went to war during the Couples Retreat, with Lauren and Clint arguing with Jamie and Dave. Per what an insider told Chattr, Clint and Lauren left during the most recent Commitment Ceremony and didn’t make it to Final Vows.
Clint left the door slightly open, saying he’d be up for seeing where things go after the experiment. Lauren said she was on board too, but honestly, it didn’t seem super convincing. Especially with the rumours that Clint ends up with Jacqui.

Clint did recently post a rogue TikTok saying that he has found his “life-long partner” through MAFS, which is the same line Jacqui has been spouting.
Verdict: Not together.
Morena Farina and Tony Mojanovski
Morena Farina and Tony Mojanovski appeared to be smitten at the beginning, but it didn’t take long for cracks to start appearing. While we were blessed with the incredible Morena Lisa painting, that’s about all the good that’s come from their relationship.
The final nail in the coffin was Tony blindsiding Morena by announcing he wants a baby. Apparently, that’s why he wasn’t keen on being with a 57-year-old. Nobody bought it, but nice try!
Thankfully, the couple finally called it quits on Episode 21.
After mysteriously disappearing before the ceremony, Morena stormed in-last minute, declaring she wouldn’t let Tony have the last word.
Tony said Morena’s personality was “too much” for him, while Morena clapped back at him big time, claiming he wasn’t fussed about her personality, but by her age.
They both chose to leave the experiment, and Morena even wrote ““Good riddance” on her Commitment Card.
But before the episode even aired, Morena was leaking texts to former groom Harrison Boon about Tony. According to Morena, Tony told everybody at the first Commitment Ceremony that he was still in love with his wife, who he was still legally married to.
“I don’t care that I didn’t find love. Please spell that out. I don’t care that he is separated and dating. It took three years to get my divorce, so it’s okay,” Morena’s text reads.
“What I care about is that he told everyone at the Commitment Ceremony… that he loves his wife.”
So, no, these two were never going to be the next Michael and Martha!
Verdict: Not together.
Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone
Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone seemed to hit it off at the beginning, but unfortunately, the two weren’t destined to make it to Final Vows.
Their journey ended in Episode 17 after the meat plate-gate cheating scandal. Basically, Sierah admitted she found it easier to talk to Adrian after they shared a private dinner, blindsiding both Billy and Adrian’s wife, Awhina.
At the following commitment ceremony, Sierah apologised to Awhina but not Billy, who was called out for suggesting a “wife swap” with Adrian. It was clear Billy felt neglected, saying he got “sweet F-A” from Sierah.
In the end, both chose to leave, but after an emotional chat, Sierah had second thoughts. Unfortunately for her, Billy didn’t. “I don’t regret my decision,” he said.
The experts tried called it a “breakthrough as two humans, not necessarily as a couple.” So… there’s that?
Billy has since been seen on what looked like a romantic date with Awhina, but she told Chattr the pair are *just friends*. That’s what Duncan James and Evelyn Ellis said! Watch this space.

Katie Johnson and Tim Gromie
Katie Johnson and Tim Gromie are no longer together. The couple were on rocky ground from the moment they met, with Tim declaring that Katie wasn’t his type, and he’d hoped for a “petite” woman, preferably blonde or brunette.
Things went from bad to worse, after Tim refused to move into Skye Suites with Katie. He dramatically reappeared at the first Commitment Ceremony, where they both chose to leave.
Verdict: Not together.
Ashleigh Ackerman and Jake Luik
Ashleigh Ackerman and Jake Luik were torn apart by the photo ranking challenge, after Jake made some controversial comments. You know, like ones that started with “I’m not racist…” — never a good sign, Jake!
At the Commitment Ceremony, Jake wrote “Leave” while Ash wrote “Stay”, meaning the couple had to stick around for another week. However, Jake was over the drama, and he broke the rules and left the next day. Another couple bites the dust!
Verdict: Not together.
Lauren Hall and Eliot Donovan
Lauren Hall and Eliot Donovan seemed to hit it off at first, but everything crumbled on their honeymoon. Eliot had a list of non-negotiables that he refused to budge on, including how many children he wanted and his desire for a younger partner.
Eliot left during their honeymoon and hasn’t been seen since, so this is one MAFS couple that is well and truly over. There’s more drama on the horizon though, with Lauren and Eliot returning with new partners.
