“Nothing about Jacqui is genuine”

Ryan and Jacqui

From day one, Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025’s Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly have been toxic AF and we wonder how they ever made it to Final Vows when they always gave each other the ick.

For the last few weeks, Jacqui and Ryan have been publicly going at each other’s throats on social media, and now Ryan has dropped even more tea on his MAFS bride.

According to Ryan, leading up to the MAFS Final Vows, Jacqui would say anything to try and get Ryan to go all the way.

“She would say anything, no matter how disgraceful, in order to drag me to Final Vows. Including: ‘I want us to stay together, I truly do love you, let’s get an apartment together,’” Ryan wrote on Instagram.

“Nothing about Jacqui is genuine, she’s one of the worst narcissists I’ve ever met and you can’t not notice it from all her cringey content during this broadcast.”

This comes right before Jacqui and Ryan’s final vows air on Monday night, and it seems clear that the couple don’t care about spoilers.

Recently, both Jacqui and Ryan have been going rogue on social media – basically letting the public know that they have split and are on bad terms.

In a spicy Instagram story, Ryan revealed that “Jacqui was a bitch at Final Vows. I laughed, then I left. Yayy.” Yikes.

Meanwhile Jacqui said to Sky News that she is in the process of filing an Apprehended Personal Violence Order (APVO) against him.

She also spoke to Daily Mail, slamming Channel Nine and Endemol Shine.

“Where is the duty of care? Why are Channel Nine and ESA [Endemol Shine Australia] not helping me protect myself from this man?” she said. “I understand he said he’s going on a MAFS Official podcast this week and I’m just shocked that someone could be behaving like this in public and not be cut-off from media.”

Yikes upon yikes. Let’s hope this all ends soon and we can forget about Jacqui and Ryan once and for all.

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
