Robert Irwin is officially joining Dancing With The Stars, but he won’t be on the Australian version. Instead, he’ll be sashaying his way across the stage on the American iteration.

Robert was confirmed as a contestant at the Hulu Get Real event in Los Angeles.

“All I can say is crikey!” Robert told the cheering crowd at the event.

“Mate, I cannot tell you what an honour, what a privilege it is to be joining this season,” he continued.

“I remember being a little 11-year-old, about this big, with a little bowl cut, and watching you and Bindi just having the most incredible time lighting up the dance floor, and I just thought one day that’s going to be me. I had these little dreams going, one day, and now that dream is a reality.

“I am over the moon. Let’s do this!”

How to watch Robert Irwin on Dancing With The Stars

Robert will be appearing on Season 37 of Dancing With The Stars, which is expected to air in September 2025. The series regularly airs on ABC and Disney+ in America.

However, there isn’t any information yet about whether the upcoming season will be available to stream in Australia.

When was Bindi Irwin on Dancing With The Stars?

Robert’s sister Bindi Irwin competed on Dancing With The Stars US back on the 21st season back in 2015.

She was paired with Derek Hough, and the pair won the show and took home the Mirrorball Trophy.

“I am speechless. I can’t tell you how much love I have for all of your support throughout this beautiful journey,” Bindi tweeted shortly after her win.

Will Robert follow in his sister’s footsteps this season? We sure hope so!
