Her cooking style is shaped by her Singaporean Chinese-Indian heritage, and she’s known for bold, flavour-packed creations that reflect her multicultural roots.
Since her original season, Audra’s become a staple of the global food scene and the MasterChef franchise.
She’s hosted Tasty Conversations on SBS Food, judged MasterChef Asia and currently fronts MasterChef Singapore as both host and judge.
She also runs a Sydney-based catering business, teaches cooking classes in both Australia and Singapore, and consults for major food and hospitality events, including the Laguna Phuket Food and Music Festival, which drew major props from the Thai tourism board, and even the Governor of Phuket.
Her entrepreneurial side is just as impressive
Audra penned her cookbook My Kitchen, Your Table in 2015 as a celebration of culture and connection through food. In 2018, she followed it up with Cook & Feast.
She’s developed an all-natural, gluten-free product range of goodies like relishes, jams, and mayo, which is stocked online.
She’s also teamed up with Accor Plus to offer guided food tours of Singapore, taking guests far off the tourist trail to explore the local flavours she grew up with.
What was Audra doing before Masterchef Australia?
Before her life-changing stint on MasterChef Austraia, Audra was an account manager at telecommunications company AAPT, with a degree in Economics and Japanese.
At 41, she took the leap, traded in the corporate life, and followed her heart into the kitchen.
