Eliot shares a story about finding out his sister has diabetes. Veronica doesn’t love it. She thinks Eliot is void of emotion and doesn’t actually open up to her. She explains that she wants to understand him more, but she’s not getting that.
She bails, then returns to go around in a never-ending cycle of argument. Look, I see both sides. I feel weird saying it, but I do kind of feel for Eliot right now. He seems like he’s actually trying to understand what she means.
Anyway, they begin fighting over paraphrasing, which is where I draw the line.
