Look, there’s been a lot of drama so far on Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025, and if you’re feeling a bit exhausted by it all, well, same. So let’s lighten things up, shall we?
While it’s pretty common knowledge that MAFS participants have their social media accounts taken off them while the show is airing, a few of them have gotten around that caveat this year by spilling some tea on their business accounts (cough, Jacqui Burfoot and Morena Farina, cough).
Another MAFS star with a sneaky little business account is Australia’s favourite groom Dave Hand. But he’s not out here spilling tea or ruining storylines before they air. He’s just minding his own business and going about his usual daily life, and all of a sudden, Aussies everywhere have taken a new interest in… caulking.

Caulking. Know much about it? Me neither, but suddenly caulking TikToks are racking in millions of views. Well, on Dave’s account anyway.
In case you quickly need to know, caulking is a flexible material used to seal gaps preventing air and water leaks in building materials, and it can also be used to bond different materials together. And yes, I paraphrased that from Google.
Moving on. As Dave goes about his day and shows off his job, his TikTok account for @siliconevalleycaulking is now sitting at nearly 50,000 followers as MAFS fan spot him in their algorithm, and there’s a real mix of thirst and longing for the emotionally intelligent groom.
“Dave, we need copies of you for us women all over the world in bulk,” one person commented. “Good lord, I’d die for him,” another more dramatic fan said. “Excuse me while I go uncaulk our pool area,” someone else threatened.

And then, there were the kinda (very) horny comments. “I have some holes that need caulking,” one person said.
And I need Jesus now.
Dave’s even getting offers from potential future wives, in the case that he and Jamie Marinos don’t work out. “If you and Jamie end, I’m here (otherwise love you, Jamie, you’re amazing),” one hopeful person said. “Do you have brothers?” another person asked.
“Whatever woman gets to grow old with this man hit the spiritual jackpot,” someone else longingly commented.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
