Even though Married at First Sight (MAFS) has wrapped up for another season, we’re predicting the drama will continue spilling over for at least another month or so, especially once the whole cast get their social media accounts back.
So sit back, strap in, and let’s unpack a brand new drama between intruder brides Beth Kelly and Veronica Cloherty.
What happened between MAFS’ Beth and Veronica?
One small spark of drama was flared over the weekend at Daily Mail’s exclusive MAFS reunion party, where the 2025 cast participated in an honesty box challenge.
When Beth was asked, “Who here has been sliding into someone else’s DMs after the show?” she threw shade at a fellow bride who wasn’t at the event, saying, “She’s not here. Veronica. I’m sure she’s been sliding into every husband’s but her own.”
MAFS’ Veronica claps back at Beth: ‘Do you have receipts?’
So has something happened between Veronica and another groom? We don’t really know for sure, but we did reach out to Veronica to see if she wanted to chat.
“Poor Beth, it’s obvious to me that she is deeply, deeply insecure. I’ll pray for her,” Veronica told Chattr when asked for a response about Beth’s comment.
Taking to The Daily Mail Instagram video, Veronica also clapped back there, leaving a comment saying, “Do you have receipts, or are you just running your mouth? Asking for a friend.”
Veronica is one of the few members of the cast who has managed to get her own Instagram account back, and while she’s been active online, she hasn’t shed too much tea about her time on MAFS... yet, anyway.
Veronica opens up about MAFS taking ‘a toll’
She has previously spoken to the MAFSFunny podcast after she received backlash when she was partnered with Dave Hand in the couple’s swap. Many fans of the show thought Dave and Veronica had a romantic connection that went on to ruin Dave’s relationship with Jamie Marinos, something they both have denied.

“Dave and I have never even had those feelings towards each other. I think we both felt under a lot of pressure in our different relationships for different reasons,” Veronica said on the podcast.
“At the end of the day it’s a TV show and we are all active participants in that, but that doesn’t negate from the fact we’re all human beings and it does take its toll,” she said of her MAFS experience.
“Realistically, people don’t know the truth or anything about you. For myself specifically, I don’t think my side of the story has been shown, they’ve shown me at absolute breaking point in every aspect of the show, so like, ‘hi guys this is me at my worst!’ It can only get better from here!”
