Viewers were shocked on Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 after Paul Antoine admitted to punching a wall after an argument with wife Carina Mirable.
ICYMI, Paul was furious when finding out that Carina had slept with a famous rapper, who Daily Mail revealed as Quavo, believing she had disrespected him.
While he appeared remorseful the next day, he also low-key tried to put some of the blame on Carina because she wanted him to stay in the apartment instead of giving him space, so he felt “trapped”.
In an upcoming promo for Sunday night’s Commitment Ceremony, expert John Aiken is seen reaming Paul out while he’s on the couch. So, do the experts force Paul to leave the experiment after his violent outburst? Or is he allowed to stay?
What happens at the commitment ceremony with Paul and Carina?
According to an insider, the experts hold Paul accountable on Sunday night and threaten to kick him out of the experiment.
“The experts took it seriously and they had a go at Paul,” a source tells Chattr.
“But the most concerning part of their couch session was that Carina said their argument was a sign that their marriage is real and that they’re in love. Everyone was really shocked, and Alessandra [Rampolla] had to step in to say, ‘No honey, this is not love. Violence isn’t love.’”
Their couch session went on for hours, because the experts didn’t want to minimise what had happened. An insider said that some cast members believed Paul should have been removed from the experiment, but production tries to avoid that when possible.
“It was scary for the girls, because all these men had a bit of a boy gang and minimised it a bit,” they claimed.
“It was hard to witness and be part of the group when something so toxic could be swept under the rug.”
Do Carina and Paul make it to Final Vows?
It looks like Carina and Paul make it to Final Vows, with our source claiming they stay together until then.
However, the source claims the couple chose not to stay together at Final Vows and have since parted ways.
