Fans were baffled when Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025’s Jacqueline Burfoot called Rhi Disljenkovic’s actions a “crime against humanity” when it seemed like Rhi really hadn’t done much to warrant that.
All viewers had seen was that Rhi had brought up the texting scandal — a storyline seemingly discredited — and this led to Jacqui “crying all week”.
However, Jacqui has now spoken out about the situation and claims there were some key moments viewers didn’t get to see.
“[Rhi] sat at the Commitment Ceremony and made multiple digs at me including saying horrible things like my eyes burn holes at the back of her head, and she went on and on. It was on top of a fake text, I was like, this is the last straw. I’d had enough,” Jacqui tells Chattr.
“I went home that night and was bawling my eyes out, so then the next dinner party I came back and addressed it, but unfortunately, they cut all the content from the Commitment Ceremony, so it looks like I was complaining about the text again, which I wasn’t.”
“[The editors] are making me look delusional,” Jacqui adds. “I went out yesterday in public and people are like, ‘Oh my god, you’re not crazy. They make you look so crazy on TV’, and I was like, ‘I know, I know.’.”
Does Rhi and Jacqui’s feud continue on MAFS?
According to an inside source, Rhi and Jacqui mostly put their beef to bed in the upcoming weeks — until the partner swap challenge.
After Rhi shares a bed with Eliot Donovan, she gets called out at a Dinner Party by Eliot’s wife Veronica Cloherty.
“I don’t appreciate my husband lying to me about sharing a bed with another wife,” Veronica is believed to have told Rhi.
After Rhi and Veronica go “head to head”, Jacqui is said to have stepped in and defended Veronica.
“After Jacqui tells Rhi, ‘I wouldn’t want my husband lying about sharing a bed with someone else’s wife either’, Rhi explodes again and blows up at Jacqui,” the insider claims.
“Rhi then hates Jacqui after that and the feud continues.”
This whole partner swap challenge is going to be spicy and it can’t come soon enough!
