Tonight’s Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Dinner Party looks extremely spicy. Promos show Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand entering separately, before Jamie unleashes on her husband at the dinner table.
ICYMI, Dave and Jamie aren’t in a good place after realising their sexual needs may not align. Jamie is worried that Dave isn’t attracted to her, and it appears that Dave may have been spooked by Jamie’s loud declaration of love. Dave also had some palpable chemistry with fellow bride Veronica Cloherty. Yikes!
While some fans have been quick to turn on Dave and share their disappointment in the groom, he tells Chattr this was the “most difficult” period during the entire filming process.
While Dave was filming MAFS, his father was undergoing chemotherapy, so he was concerned about his family.
“Around about this time, I got some bad news about how my dad was going, speaking to him on the phone,” he tells Chattr.
“I get news of like, oh he’s struggling to start up the lawnmower, he’s starting to fade away, and it was just like, oh my god. So I was in two places at once.”

When he entered the Dinner Party solo, he said it was “really tough”.
“This period was my most difficult throughout the filming process, I think,” he reveals. “It was tough for both of us.”
It seems like Dave and Jamie are going to be on the receiving end of a grilling from the other couples, but the groom knew it was coming.
“We’re no different to any other couple, we deserve to get the hard questions as well, this is an experiment where people can throw their opinions [at us],” he explains.
However, he assures Chattr that there’s still hope for the pair going forward.

“This is a yuck part for Jamie and I, and I’m looking forward to happy days with her again,” he says. Plus, he reveals that he actually appreciated Jamie saying the L-word.
“Jamie said ‘I love you’ at a critical time in our relationship, and it meant so much to me to hear those words [because] I was about to go and see my dad who was quite sick. She said it at the time when I needed the support and definitely didn’t throw me off.” he says.
So there you have it! Maybe love isn’t completely dead after all.
Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
