Married At First Sight‘s Clint Rice has revealed that plenty of the couples from the show are “not on speaking terms” after airing their dirty laundry on TV — and he didn’t shy away from telling Chattr which ones.
Speaking with Chattr in an exclusive interview, Clint said that “a lot of the couples don’t speak” and have turned on each other as a result of the MAFS 2025 experiment.
“I can see why [there are couples who don’t speak],” Clint explained to Chattr. “They are on this show, and they throw their partner under the bus.”
While Clint expressed that he understands the “nature of the show” is to discuss your relationship and its issues, he said that he and Lauren Hall are stronger for having avoided that and are good friends to this day.
“I think we can pride ourselves in that, that we supported each other,” Clint explained. “We have got a good friendship, Lauren and myself, whereas you look at the other cast members and no one barely talks.”
“You see all the other couples when they’re at a dinner party or in a group environment, they drag out and air their dirty laundry of their partner.
“I find that embarrassing. I really do.”
The MAFS 2025 groom, who has been spotted with co-star Jacqueline Burfoot since the show wrapped filming, revealed that “Jacqui and Ryan [Donnelly] hate each other and Adrian [Araouzou] and Awhina [Rutene], Sierah [Swepstone] and Billy [Belcher] — they’ve all turned on each other”.
While Sierah and Billy left the experiment at a previous Commitment Ceremony after an exaggerated “cheating scandal”, Jacqui and Ryan and Awhina and Adrian are still on MAFS 2025.
Jacqui and Ryan appear chummy on screen (well, depending what day of the week it is), however, it has been widely reported that Jacqui and Clint are now together. Jacqui and Ryan have also been using their burner social media accounts to tear each other apart.
Adrian and Awhina is an interesting one — while the pair have been on rocky ground since the show started, they were spotted together on Valentine’s Day last month, making people think they made it past Final Vows. Was it just a publicity stunt, or have things only gone south recently?
I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.
