Body language expert breaks down Jacqui’s possible lies on MAFS: ‘Complete fabrication’

Did Jacqui fool you?

MAFS 2025 Jacqui Ryan body language

The final Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 Dinner Party was wild, but the moment that had my jaw on the floor was when Jacqui Burfoot strolled in with Ryan Donnelly, looking totally in love. It’s a rollercoaster with these two, and it makes for fantastic TV.

We were also blessed with some of Jacqui’s best one-liners this episode — from her monologue about grass to declaring she was going to the grave with Ryan — she was seriously on her A game.

However, body language expert Scott Taylor posted a scathing TikTok where he broke down her possibly deceptive behaviour, and it paints a very different story.

The Combined Communications Specialist trained with the head of the FBI, so he knows a thing or two.

“In no way does Jacqui believe they’re the most successful couple, that was a complete fabrication, 100 per cent,” Scott said. “They used the same indicators that I’ve described before.”

The expert noted that after Jacqui said she and Ryan would “be at each other’s graves”, she paused afterwards and nervously stroked her chest and neck.

“You saw production kept the camera on her and she straight away started touching this part of her neck and looking down. You’ve heard me say before any time we have repeat touching of an area that’s not part of your baseline, it’s self-pacifying,” he explained.

This happens when you’re “stressed”, which Jacqui possibly was in this moment.

“We get that with deception for these sorts of things as well, and you saw because it’s covering that neck power zone as well, it’s self-pacifying and self-touching. So that’s the reason why you saw that for Jacqui.”

@itsscotttaylorofficial @Married At First Sight final dinner party review! It’s going to be an interesting final vows night! ⭕️ No surprises from Adrian in his blunt self centred approach – he just realised on the date the distance is going to be an issue 🤦‍♂️ ⭕️ Paul using “Just” to minimise his actions X 15 times and “Jacrying” that’s when you try cry but not tears come and you even use the wrong face muscles for sadness 🤣🤣 Enjoy! #mafsaustralia #mafs #mafsau #marriedatfirstsight #bodylanguage ♬ original sound – itsscotttaylorofficial

Does Jacqui actually believe Ryan could be her life partner after MAFS?

At the dinner table, Jacqui told the MAFS cast she believed Ryan was one of the “strongest” men she’s met, and said he could be her “life partner”. He looked pretty chuffed with the compliments, so it’s easy to see how she got back on his good side.

“[Jacqui is] overselling,” Scott claimed. “When people are not telling the truth — truth-tellers convey, liars convince.”

“You wanna identify are people selling you, or telling you? When Jacqui’s saying these things, she’s selling not telling. She knows that Ryan’s got an easy pride button, and an easy ego button for things as well, and she continually pushes this.”

Final Vows are right around the corner, and both Ryan and Jacqui turn up to share their true feelings.

The promo shows Jacqui saying she’s “not a rehabilitation centre”, so it seems like she’s going for a big mic drop.

It’s certainly going to be interesting to see what happens!
