Love Island announced on March 24 that casting for the upcoming Australian season is open.
“Do you have what it takes to be an Islander? Are you ready for a European summer of love?” The advert reads.
It points hopeful singles to the application page here and encourages them to come armed with “hot pics and a vibey video.”
What is the age limit for Love Island Australia 2025?
It’s bad news for anyone born after 1993, as the application page stipulates that they’re looking for contestants between the ages of 19 and 30.
What’s involved in the application process?
The first part of the application process requires hopefuls to fill out some basic details about themselves, think name, address, social media handles etc.
From there, they’ll be asked to send some more detailed responses. Some of the questions are as follows:
- In 50 words or fewer, please write a dating profile for yourself.
- If you were to slide into someone’s DMs, what would you say to get their attention?
- Who would you have dated from previous series of Love Island?
- Do you have a secret crush that you think we should invite to Love Island? If so, what is their Instagram handle?
The last one makes a lot of sense, considering the rise of exes on the show. The 2022 season saw Claudia Bonifazio‘s ex Jason Shtjefni enter the villa, and who could forget the pre-existing situationship between Love Island Australia 2024’s Sophie Mills and Zane Prophet?
