Laura Darras is officially Australian Survivor‘s first witch, and she claims her ability to read people’s energies and auras will help her in the game.

Laura is one of 24 contestants competing for the title of Sole Survivor on Brains v Brawn II, and that person will take home the $500,000 cash prize.

Australian Survivor 2025’s Laura is a witch

Laura, who’s part of the Brains tribe, identifies as a witch and says that she uses spells daily.

“I read people’s energies and see your aura by seeing little colours above people’s heads that tell me what they’re thinking, what they’re feeling and how they are handling any given situation. It’s a skill I’ll be using out here for sure!” She said in her Survivor bio.

Laura owns over 250 crystals and calls herself a “good white witch” who uses her spells in positive ways.

Laura is also an actor

As well as being a witch, Laura is also an actor. She made her stage debut at the age of 15 in Macbeth: The Rock Opera.

Fittingly, she was cast as one of the three Witches and toured England, France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy with the performance.

She believes that her acting skills will help her game on Survivor, as she’ll be able to get people to do what she wants.

“My friends say I can convince a fish it has legs. I can convince anyone of anything. I can read how people perceive the world, and I can use what they value against them,” she said.

A witch and and actor? It sounds like Australian Survivor 2025 is shaping up to be a bewitching season.

Australian Survivor 2025: Brain v Brawn II airs from February 17 on Channel 10 and 10Play.
