The latest Australian Survivor Tribal Council gave Logan and Karin the perfect opportunity to vote with the OG Brawns and turn on ‘Hostage Leader’ AJ.

But, the women banded with AJ, and Noonan‘s torch was snuffed, a move that surprised viewers considering AJ’s repeated attempts to blindside Logan.

However, Logan told Chattr in an exclusive interview that she sided with AJ because they had a secret alliance that wasn’t shown on TV.

“There was a part that was not shown, when we moved over to Brawn 2.0, [AJ and I] did have a little pow-wow at night and decided to call a truce.

“We called ourselves Enemies to Lovers and we worked together for a couple of votes. We did call a truce, but AJ became AJ again, and the white flag came down pretty quick.”

Logan said she was “really close” to blindsiding AJ

AJ boldly announced his Hostage plan during the Episode aired on March 3. The strategy involved AJ proposing the new Brains tribe to throw challenges and vote out OG Brain members to keep the OG Brawn numbers strong going into Merge. This move would keep the new Brawn tribe from attending Tribal Council and losing members.

However, AJ’s daring gameplay saw a target placed on his back, and his name was thrown around when the new Brawns faced Tribal Council during the March 9 episode, and Logan told Chattr that she was seriously contemplating turning on AJ.

“We really, really close with going with Paulie and Noonan. Karin and I were very, very close to flipping, but we weren’t ready to burn Kaelan just yet, and we weren’t sure if AJ had an idol.

“So, if we took the shot at him, and it came back, and it went to pieces, then we knew that AJ had that influence over people that he could take us out again.

“He’d already taken two shots at me and missed, and the third time’s a charm, so he was just a bit of a one to worry about, and we had to make sure we had everyone in line at the right time to take the proper shot.”

It turned out that AJ did have an Idol, and he played it for himself in a move that wasn’t needed because his secret alliance didn’t turn on him.

“[Karin and I] warred in our heads about taking him out and whether Paulie was the right person to work with or not,” Logan explained.

“But I think at the end of the day as well, Paulie showed signs of someone that I didn’t want to work with as well. And it was choosing the lesser of two evils.”

It sounds like it’s just a matter of time before Logan takes her shot at AJ — and we hope she doesn’t miss.
