Australian Survivor 2025 has had *another* Tribe Swap; this time, the new groups are called Barren and Bounty.
At Tribal Council, host Jonathan LaPaglia announced that there would be two new Tribes and the contestants who joined the Bounty side would return to the built-up camp that they’ve been living in since Merge. On the flip side, the Barren tribe would be sent to a new camp without any existing shelter or food.
“We’re going to divide the tribe into two new tribes until the next Immunity Challenge,” he explained.
“Whoever wins that challenge will win immunity for their entire new tribe.”
Who’s in the new Survivor Tribes?
Earlier in the episode, Kate won Individual Immunity, which automatically put her on the Bounty Tribe and gave her the power to bring a person of her choice. Unsurprisingly, she chose her Island bestie, Morgan.

Jonathan told the castaways that the two contestants with the most votes against them at Tribal would be sent to Barren. Paulie was fast-tracked there with four votes. Logan and AJ received three votes against them each, which led to a revote, and Logan was assigned to the Barren side.
The rest of the cast had their fate decided by drawing rocks. Those who drew black rocks joined the Bounty side, and the contestants who drew white were made part of Barren.

Are there any crossovers from the original Survivor tribes?
There are! With six OG Brains players and four OG Brawns players left in the game, both tribes are dominated by original Brains members.
It’s Zara, Karin, and AJ reunited from the original Brains on the Bounty Tribe, while Logan, Myles and Kaelan are together on the Barren tribe.
While Barren may not have the camp supplies, they’re clearly stacked with Challenge Beasts. We can’t wait to watch this one play out!
