The Australian Idol 2025 contestants have been dropping like flies as they’re eliminated from the competition, leaving just a handful of singing superstars left in the hope of clinching the winner title.
Thousands of hopefuls faced Australian Idol judges Kyle Sandilands, Amy Shark, and Marcia Hines at the auditions, where golden tickets were handed out to those selected for the Top 30.
The last contestant standing will be crowned the winner of Australian Idol. The winner will receive $100,000 in prize money and an exclusive recording record with Hive Sound Studios.

Gisella Colletti, 16, WA

Gisella Colletti belted out I Am Changing by Jennifer Hudson and Lillias White at the auditions.
Jake Whittaker, 29, QLD

Jake Whittaker delivered a surprisingly stunning country guitar version of Queen‘s Bohemian Rhapsody. At the Top 24, he performed You’re Still The One by Shania Twain with Jaymon and Emma. Jake was put on notice during Top 21 but still managed to advance to the next round.
Marshall Hamburger, 19, QLD

Marshall Hamburger wowed the judges with a piano version of Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police. He went on to impress the audience with a group performance of Born This Way by Lady Gaga.
Jaymon Bob, 22, QLD

Jaymon Bob treated the judges to a guitar performance of If Tomorrow Never Comes by Garth Brooks. He was grouped with Emma and Jake for the Top 24.
Iilysh Retallick, 17, NSW

Iilysh Retallick delivered a powerhouse performance of You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette. She was grouped with Marshall and Izellah for the Top 24. She was put on notice for an overly “yelly” performance during Top 21 but ultimately made it through.
William Le Brun, 20, VIC

William Le Brun gave a saucy twist to Blinding Lights by The Weeknd at the auditions and was paired with Bony and Jazz during the Top 24.
