The Australian Idol 2025 contestants have been dropping like files as they’re eliminated from the competition, leaving just a handful of singing superstars left in the hope of clinching the winner title.

Thousands of hopefuls faced Australian Idol judges Kyle Sandilands, Amy Sharkand Marcia Hines at the auditions, where golden tickets were handed out to those selected for the Top 30.

The last contestant standing will be crowned the winner of Australian IdolThe winner will receive $100,000 in prize money and an exclusive recording record with Hive Sound Studios.

Here is who’s still in the running to win Australian Idol 2025.

Hannah Waddell, 25, WA

Hannah performed Gloria Gaynor‘s Never Can Say Goodbye at the auditions. She then took on Ain’t No Mountain High Enough with John and Jinja for the Top 24.

Hazel Symonds, 16, VIC

Hazel’s rendition of The One That Got Away by Katy Perry saw her score a Golden Ticket at the auditions. She went on to perform Katy’s song Firework with Kiedis and Gisella.

Chris Ah Gee, 31, QLD

Chris scored a Golden Ticket for his performance of Kiss from a Rose by Seal, and his wife, Jazz, was sent to the Top 30 during the same episode. However, she was eliminated during the Top 24 round.

Abbie Ferris, 25, SA

Abbie got through the auditions for her take on That Don’t Impress Me Much by Shania Twain. During the Top 24 round, she impressed the judges with I Want It That Way by The Backstreet Boys with Clint, Dinley and Aaliyah.

Jaylena Heuskes, 24, SA

Jaylena blew the judges away with Senorita by Justin Timberlake at the auditions. She performed Dilemma by Kelly Rowland and Nelly in the Top 24 round with Giestare and Mzuki.

Jinja Blue, 21, QLD

Jinja Blue completely reimagined Call Me by Blondie and scored herself a Golden Ticket. Next, she performed with Hannah and John for the Top 24.

Mzuki, 28, VIC

Mzuki raised Kyle’s eyebrows with her version of Missy Elliott‘s Get Your Freak On and was sent through to the Top 30. After that, she took part in a group performance with Giestare and Mzuki.

Keely Ellen, 18, QLD

Keely made the judges emotional with her rendition of Always on My Mind by Elvis Presley.

Noah Lagesse, 28, WA

Noah performed Dumb Things by Neil Finn and Paul Kelly for the judges and placed in the Top 30.

Kiedis Solberg, 16, WA

Kiedis was handed a golden ticket for his performance of Use Somebody by Kings of Leon. He performed during the Top 24 with Hazel and Gisela.

Marcia belted out I Am Changing by Jennifer Hudson and Lillias White at the auditions.

Paxton Smith, 20, QLD

Paxton scored a Golden Ticket for her rendition of We Don’t Need Another Hero by Tina Turner.

Aaliyah Duchesne, 27, NSW

Aaliyah brought the judges to tears at the auditions with her rendition of Angel of Mine by Monica, which was dedicated to her mum.

Dinley Jones, 26, NSW

The Sydney Kings Mascot, Dinley, had us grooving with his take on Classic by MKTO. He was part of the only group of four at the Top 24 alongside Abbey, Clint and Aaliyah.

Jake Whittaker, 29, QLD

Jake delivered a surprisingly stunning country guitar version of Queen‘s Bohemian Rhapsody. At the Top 24, he performed You’re Still The One by Shania Twain with Jaymon and Emma.

Clint Posselt, 29, QLD

Clint had us doing a double take when he busted out a rap during his rendition of Black and Gold by Sam Sparro. The former Love Island Australia star was grouped with Abbie, Dinley and Aaliyah during the Top 24.

Marshall Hamburger, 19, QLD

Marshall wowed the judges with a piano version of Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police. He went on to impress the audience with a group performance of Born This Way by Lady Gaga.

Izellah Connelly, 17, WLD

Izellah had us in our feels with her soulful cover of Jealous by Labrinth. She performed with Marsall and Ilysh during the Top 24.

Jaymon Bob, 22, QLD

Majeda had us feeling funky with her cover of Juice by Lizzo. She continued the vibe with a rendition of Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi with Henry and Chris during the group peformance.

Iilysh Retallick, 17, NSW

Iilysh delivered a powerhouse performance of You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette. She was grouped with Marshall and Izellah for the Top 24.

Emma Jones, 23, ACT

Emma belted out To Love Somebody by the Bee Gees at the auditions and went on to sing You’re Still The One with Jaymon and Jake in the next round.

John Van Beek, 18, WA

At the auditions, John performed a raw cover of I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith. He sang with Jinja and Hannah in the Top 24.

William Le Brun, 20, VIC

William gave a sauce twist to Blinding Lights by The Weeknd at the auditions and was paired with Bony and Jazz during the Top 24.
