One of the most memorable parts of I’m a Celebrity Australia is when the contestants have to gobble down absolutely horrific items during the Tucker Trials.
Throughout the season of I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025, we’ve seen the campmates consume a Breakfast Bowel — made up of a boar’s anus, a chicken heart and beef tripe, a Crappa-cino — made up of lamb tongue and oesophagus with sour milk foam and a Pancake Surprise — a cow’s penis.
Considering how vile these dishes are, some fans on social media have been questioning if the dishes are actually fake. However, campmate Harrison Reid has assured Chattr in a post elimination interview that the contestants are actually eating the repulsive items.
“I had that same kind of thought in previous years but I actually ate humble pie because that was horrible. It is real.”

Harrison reveals the worst thing about the food challenges
Poor Harrison had to take part in two food challenges. The first was Block-Bug-Ster Video which saw him dine on cow brains and a goat’s anus.
While Harrison legitimately consumed those two animal parts, he said the worst part about the challenge wasn’t actually the awful taste.
“It was horrible. But, if you think it looks bad, the smell was 1000 times worse, you cannot even comprehend how bad it was. I’d vomit and but I’d still have that same taste in my mouth for about two days after,” he told Chattr.
Harrison went on to reflect on his second eating challenge, which saw him chow down on a selection of pies with his hands tied behind his back.
“There was one nice pie in there, but the rest were chicken hearts, animal off cuts and grilled cockroaches. Then, when I was eating it, because my hands were tied behind my back, they put flies and maggots in there.
“I couldn’t see out my goggles because of the cream that went on top of a couple of the pies. So I could just feel worms in my mouth wriggling around, but the crunch of the fires as well. So it was horrific.”
Get us a bucket.

Are the I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 Tucker Trials safe?
One would think that consuming animal parts covered in flies wouldn’t be exactly sanitary.
However, Harrison said the contestants are given a rundown before undergoing the food challenges.
“It’s all covered, we get a safety briefing and we can tap out at any time, but when you’re hungry, it’s not really an option,” he said.
Fortunately for Harrison’s stomach, he’s now been yeeted out of the jungle, so he’ll have the option to enjoy roach-free pies again.
The I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 finale airs on February 17 at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.
