Official Synopsis

Welcome to The 8 Show, where time is money—literally.

Eight strangers, all in dire straits, find themselves locked in a mysterious building. Here, they become contestants on a reality show where every second counts.

A massive countdown clock ticks away as contestants scramble to figure out the hidden rules to increase their time and, consequently, their cash prize.

The catch? They must keep entertaining the audience to extend their time.

The game is designed to be anything but fair, creating frustration and conflict among the contestants.

With social disparities and increasing pressure, it’s no wonder they start to turn on each other. And with a rule that if anyone dies, everyone loses their money, the tension is palpable.

This slow-burn series, based on webtoons by Bae Jin-soo, dives deep into the vulnerabilities exposed by a hyper-capitalist society and is bound to be your next Netflix obsession.
