"Transparency": Love Island Australia 2024's Sophie Mills reveals upcoming cosmetic surgery

Love Island Australia 2024 fan favourite Sophie Mills has opened up to fans about an upcoming cosmetic surgery procedure she is undergoing.

In a candid TikTok video, the 22-year-old told her followers she’s booked to go in for a boob job.

“I’m getting a breast augmentation, a boob job,” she shared. “I naturally am a small-chested girl, but about a year ago, I went off the breast control pill I had been on.”

Sophie explained that she’d been on birth control for “six or seven years” but decided to come off because it made her “crazy”. She said that when she stopped taking the contraceptive, her breasts got considerably smaller.

“I did have bigger breasts throughout being on birth control. I was at about a C-cup,” she said.

“I ended up getting off the birth control, which made me lose weight, especially in my breasts. And I was training a lot more as well, which also built a lot of muscle and muscle weight. This resulted in Sophie’s C-cup boobs going all the way down to an A-cup,” she continued.

“It has been probably my biggest insecurity. Obviously, I went on Love Island with A-cup boobs, which, once again, is totally fine. It’s just an insecurity of mine.”

Sophie revealed that she’ll be getting a C-cup again and said she likes “really natural-looking boobs”.

“I’m getting a teardrop implant, which is very natural, and it works for my shape. It literally looks like a teardrop shape. So they sit really naturally, and they’re not going to be like high profile, and they go under the muscle.

“My surgery is on the 20th of January, so I’m super excited, but I’m a little bit nervous.”

Love Island’s Sophie Mills reveals whether she’s had Botox or fillers

In the same video, Sophie told her followers that she wanted to be upfront about the work that she had done on her face and her body.

“Personally, I love transparency. I feel like it is so important for people who are being looked up to, to be honest about what they’ve done,” she said.

Sophie explained that while she’s never had Botox or anti-wrinkle injections for cosmetic reasons, she has had it done in her jaw to help with teeth clenching.

“My masseter is very, very strong, according to my injector. It gives me tension headaches when I wake up, and it always has because I’m clenching my jaw in my sleep.”

She added that she’d been getting lip filler for a few years prior to going onto Love Island Australia.

“About four years ago is the first time I got lip filler, and I started with half a millilitre,” she shared. “And then maybe a year after that, I went back and got another half a mil, and then pretty much so forth. Every year I would go back and get another half.”

Sophie explained that her lip filler migrated over time, so she had it dissolved and reinjected before going on Love Island Australia.

“About a month or two before going to Love Island, I got my lips fully dissolved, and I actually forgot how little my top lip was,” she said.

“Obviously, the natural self is beautiful. I did actually find when I got used to my smaller lips, I didn’t hate it, but I just felt like I needed a little bit more volume in the top lip.

“So, I had them dissolved. Waited two weeks, and then I went back to my injector, and he put almost a full millilitre in— a point seven.”

We love the honesty and wish it was more commonplace for reality stars to be honest about the work they’ve had done.
