Selling The OC’s Austin Victoria has taken to Instagram to slam claims from his castmate Sean Palmieri that he tried to instigate a threesome with him.
A large part of the storyline on season three of Selling The OC circulated around a rumour that Austin was bisexual and that he propositioned Sean when he came over to his marital house for cookies.
Towards the end of the season, Sean showed a screenshot on his phone of a text from Austin that ended with a love heart emoji, and a flattering Instagram comment the realtor made about his legs.
Now, Austin has come forward on Instagram and rubbished all of Sean’s claims. He included a screenshot of a message from Sean which appears to have been sent after the “cookies” night.
Austin also shared a lengthy text post about the drama.
“In response to the repeated DMs and comments, let me set the record straight…” he began.
“First things first…,” He continued in a second slide. “Finish the entire season!!! The lies start to fall apart and opinions change. The truth will always prevail.”
Austin claims Sean wanted screentime
Austin went on to imply that Sean instigated the drama in order to get extra screen time and boost his profile.
“The answer to most of your questions/accusations is simply screen time. In reality TV if you are not featured, you are not paid. When you quit your job and haven’t sold a property in 2 years, you get desperate. Contrary to popular belief, reality TV doesn’t pay the bills,” he wrote.
“In reality TV, you can quite literally make anything up and it’s your word vs theirs. Scary stuff.”
Austin claims that he’s not bisexual
The Selling The OC realtor also told his followers that he and his wife are not in an open relationship, and said that he isn’t interested in experimenting with men.
“Love is Love! I agree with this 100%. I love my LGBTQ+ friends and I have and always will support them. Period,” he wrote.
“I’m sorry but not sorry bc the following does not mean I’m hitting on you, especially if we are good friends.”
Austin referenced an Instagram post of Sean’s which was shown on an episode at the races, which Sean used to “prove” that Austin was into him.
“Double tapping your posts, sending heart emojis or complimenting your progress in the gym (“them legs”).”
“Lastly, I’m a straight man. I love my wife and we have never and will never “experiment”. I can care less what you do in your personal life. Zero judgment here, do what makes YOU happy!”
