Grab the bubbles! The Real Housewives of Sydney is making a comeback

One of the world’s most popular reality franchises is set to return to Australia with a reinvigorated new series of The Real Housewives of Sydney.

Just when we thought it was safe to step out in Bondi, a new generation of Sydney’s glamorous and wealthy women will welcome viewers into their homes and lives.

Announced by Binge on April 28, the new series will showcase the friendships, fashion, social events, and drama of the top 1%.

The 10-part series has been commissioned by the streaming service, with production taking place across Sydney over the coming months, meaning that no air date has been set.

“We are thrilled to be bringing The Real Housewives of Sydney series to BINGE viewers,” Binge Executive Director, Alison Hurbert-Burns said.

“The Real Housewives franchise is wildly popular across the globe, and we felt a cosmopolitan city like Sydney needed again to have a brand-new local version.”

There are currently 23 international adaptations of the global hit Format including recent launches in Nairobi, Amsterdam, Abuja and The Winelands.

The OG Sydney cast included Lisa Oldfield, Athena Levendi, Krissy Marsh, Matty Samaei, Melissa Tkautz, Nicole O’Neil and Victoria Rees.
