Margot Robbie as Barbie wasn't nominated for an Oscar 2024

Oscars 2024: See the full list of nominations which include some snubs and surprises

Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things were among the films that received the most nominations for the Oscars 2024, but it was Oppenheimer who led the charge.

Oppenheimer received an impressive 13 noms, while Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie scored 11, 10 and eight respectively.

On the eve of the Oscars, it was revealed that plagiarism allegations had been made against The Holdovers, which has been nominated for Best Screenplay as well as in four other categories.

However, two of those films were associated with what were considered to be two of the biggest Oscar snubs this year.

For Barbie, Margot Robbie missed out on nom for Actress in a Leading Role and Greta Gerwig wasn’t put up for Best Director. Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t make the Actor in a Leading Role category for Killers of the Flower Moon, either.
