Robert Irwin has been announced as the new co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2024.
He will be joining current host Julia Morris in the South African jungle for the popular Channel 10 show and is taking over Dr Chris Brown’s role.
“It’s a huge honour to be the new co-host of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!” Irwin said of the new gig. “I can’t wait to plunge back into the incredible African jungle and introduce our celebrities to the magnificent wildlife that call the jungle home.”
“Most of all, I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside the incredibly kind and talented Julia Morris. Crikey! This is going to be a wild ride!”
Morris also expressed her excitement about her new co-host.
“I am absolutely overjoyed by the appointment of my spectacular new co-host, Robert Irwin,” she said. “Audiences will be peaking at how much fun we have in store. You might think Robert and I are an unlikely duo, but it turns out we’re a magical combination! Season 10, here we come!”
What happened to Dr Chris Brown?
Brown announced that he was leaving Network 10 in February 2023. He and Morris hosted I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! together since the show’s inception in 2015.
The TV vet will be heading up two new shows on Channel 7, Dream Home and Once In A Lifetime. Dream Home is a home renovation series and Once In A Lifetime will see Brown pushed to his limits in the pursuit of the ultimate animal encounter.
When is the next season of I’m A Celebrity airing?
An exact premiere date for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! season 10 hasn’t been announced yet. However, it will air early next year.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! season 10 airs in 2024 on 10 and 10Play.
