Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Mimi has lived in London and is now based in Sydney.
A trained dancer from Sydney’s prestigious Brent Street studio, she’s no stranger to the spotlight. Before joining Love Island, Mimi gained a following on TikTok for her dance videos.
She’s also the creative director of fashion label EFFN, which she runs with her ex-boyfriend – proof that she can keep it professional, describing their working relationship as “healthy.”
As for her love life, Mimi has had her share of connections with a number of athletes, including a “situationship” with a former pro rugby player.

She’s been pretty candid about her frustration with the Sydney dating scene, saying it’s “rough” and filled with too many short-term flings.
“I want that 90s type of love,” Mimi has said.
