Sara Mesa has confirmed that Jack Dunkley showed naked photos of his ex to his fellow Married At First Sight grooms during a gym session.
Both Sara and Jack appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O show, where Jack was asked about the unaired scene by co-host Jackie O — after So Dramatic! reported on it.
“Is it true that you were showing cast members nude pics of your ex?” She questioned.
Jack mumbled a response before Sara jumped in with the (verbal) receipts.
“He’s lucky that we left on the chopping block because if that was on television then pretty sure people would have a very strong opinion of that,” she said.
Rather than denying the claim, Jack vaguely confirmed it when he said: “There’s a lot that has been left out, and there was a lot of TV that was made.”
He then swiftly switched topics and began explaining to the hosts where a lot of the show’s storylines came from.
“I think as half the drama on the TV show happened at the gym with the boys, and I was pretty tight with Sarah’s husband Tim [Calwell], and Lauren’s [Dunn] husband Jono [McCullough] at the time.”
“Everyone’s having some banter everyone’s debriefing about their wives and their relationships, the husbands are coming home and obviously bringing this information [to their wives].
Sara and Jack’s heated fight
Sara and Jack butted heads during the segment when the topic of their ex-partners came up.
“You know how I was at the commitment ceremony and got railed because I broke up with my ex six to seven weeks before the show? I got railed because I’m already talking to the experts about coming on the show at this point,” Jack began.
“Sara, you’ve admitted you had sex with your ex a month before the show.”
Sara vehemently stated that she wasn’t “dating” her ex when she hooked up with him.
“I was actually in a very physical relationship with that ex, so at that point, I was not dating him, and I didn’t break up with him to go on a television show, we weren’t together,” she retorted.
“A girl’s gotta eat, Jack,” she added. “A girl’s got needs, and I’m sorry, but I was not in a serious relationship with someone before the show. I was having sex, yes.”
