MAFS 2024: Meet Madeleine Jevic, the Home and Away actress getting married on TV

Every year there’s at least one MAFS participant who’s *exposed* as an amateur actor. However, Married At First Sight will see an actual established Australian actress among the ranks this year.

Madeleine Jevic is getting married off on season 11 of MAFS and you’ll probably already recognise her from a number of popular Australian reality TV shows.

Madeleine played Amber Simmons on Home and Away from 2020 until 2021 and appeared in 55 episodes. Amber was Dean’s (played by Patrick O’Connor) fiery baby mama.

She also played Nurse Lee Radcliffe on Wentworth for 22 episodes from 2016 until 2018 and Brianna Wheeler in Upper Middle Bogan for 24 eps from 2013-2016.

As well as those two leading roles, Jevic had a brief stint on Offspring in 2013 and appeared on True Story with Hamish and Andy in 2017.

What is Madeleine’s job?

As well as working as an actress, Madeleine is also a psychic medium. According to her 9Now bio, the bride says her profession as a psychic has “kept her isolated and single and she is hoping to restore the balance in her life”.

MadeleineJevic is friends with another famous reality TV star

Madeleine counts Sam Frost – who was the lead in The Bachelorette Australia season one – as a close friend. The two women bonded when they worked together on Home and Away, and posted a number of TikTok videos together at the time.

In an interview with New Idea in 2020, Jevic said that Frost made her feel very welcome on the Summer Bay set.

“We’re all like a big family. Sam Frost (who played Jasmine) is beautiful – she’s one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met, and has made my experience of joining the show so easy,” she said.

And Sarah Roberts (who played Willow) is beautiful, too. Honestly, everyone is divine and we have drinks sometimes and chat. We’re all very close.”

Watch Married at First Sight Sundays at 7.00pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7.30pm on Nine and 9Now.
