Lisa Marie Presley dies after being rushed to hospital

Lisa Marie Presley has died at the age of 54.

Mere days after supporting the cast of Elvis at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s daughter suffered a terminal cardiac arrest.

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” Priscilla said in a statement.

“She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”

According to TMZ, sources confirmed that paramedics performed CPR on January 12 before she was rushed to the hospital.

They also revealed that they could regain a pulse before she was transported.

In an update under an hour later, the same publication said that Lisa Marie went into “full arrest” and was administered epinephrine at the scene.

The report also stated that her housekeeper found her unresponsive while her ex-husband Danny Keogh performed CPR upon bringing her children home from school.

Who was Lisa Marie Presley?

Lisa Marie became joint heir to Elvis’ estate with her grandfather and great-grandmother after he died of a heart attack in 1977.

She became a singer/songwriter and dropped her debut album, To Whom It May Concern in 2003.

In 1994, she married pop icon Michael Jackson, marrying him a month after divorcing Danny.

She was also married to actor Nicholas Cage and Michael Lockwood, whom she had two children.

Lisa Marie is survived by three children.

Actress Riley Keough and twin girls Harper and Finley Lockwood. Her son, Benjamin Keough, died in 2020.
