Christmas has come early for reality TV fans this year, with the news that the brand-spanking new season of The Bachelors will be dropping early.
The last season of The Bachelors dropped in January this year, leaving most people to expect the next instalment at the same time in 2024. However, that’s not the case because the new season will be released on December 3, 2023 – meaning there are technically two Bachelor seasons this year!
On top of that, there’s a new trailer that gives fans their first look at the three leads in action.
Who are new The Bachelors leads?
Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman will be handing out roses on their quest to find love on The Bachelors 2023.
Ben is an environmentalist who’s “just moved back to Australia”, presumably from Los Angeles as he’s involved in the entertainment industry.
Wesley is a marketing and sales manager who has vowed to be Australia’s “favourite Brazillian Bachelor” and the third suitor, Luke, is an NRL player come lumberjack.
What can fans expect from the new season?
The Bachelors host Osher Günsberg has promised fans that they can expect some serious romance from The Bachelors’ leading men.
“I am thrilled to once again be a part of Australia’s favourite love story, and even more stoked that Melbourne will be the backdrop for the most romantic season we’ve ever made,” he said in a statement.
“The guys are so great, and the ladies who have chosen to be a part of this are powerful, smart women who aren’t afraid to find the love they came to find.”
The Bachelors will air on Channel 10 and 10Play in 2023.
Dami Im thrilled fans when she was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer Australia 2023, but she said that it was her son’s reaction that really warmed her heart.
Dami shares an 18-month-old son named Harrison Kim with her husband Noah Kim. During an interview with Chattr following her win, Dami said that although he’s still young, he was excited by her performance on the show.
“He was watching the final yesterday. The beginning of it anyway, before we had to go to bed, but he was just dancing to the music and he just loved watching. I suppose there’s like animals on stage singing and he loved it,” she said.
“It made me so happy! He kissed the trophy because it’s this big shiny thing. We got a photo and I just thought that was the cutest moment,” she added.
Dami’s son inspired her to go on The Masked Singer
Dami said that her fan base, known as the Dami Army, has been begging for her to go on The Masked Singer Australia, but despite being asked to appear on previous seasons, the time just wasn’t right.
The mum-of-one said that having a son changed her perspective, and she decided to go on the show to make Harrison proud.
“We’ve been floating around being asked for a few years, and then we never took it,” she said.
“But, having a little boy who’s one and a half years old, I just wanted to do something fun!”
Dami said that she’s excited for Harrison to watch the show back again when he’s old enough to understand it properly so “he can look back and go, “Oh, my God, my mum does really funny, cool things on TV.'”
“I think it sort of changed my perspective. I want to take more opportunities and be more lighthearted about everything and this was a very light-hearted show.”

If you have been wondering why this crop of Love Island Australia boys shower naked together, well, we have your answer thanks to dumpee Ollie Lawson.
In an interview with Chattr post-elimination, the FIFO mining work admitted that there was actually no specific shower for the males, except for the one outside. (Thanks producers!)
“So the lads don’t have a shower. Right? The girls have a shower in their makeup room, which we can use. But, our shower is the outdoor shower.”
Ollie continued: “There was a little thing on the first day, and we’re like, ‘Well, where do we shower?’, and so it was straight from the first day and then it sort of became a bonding experience.”
The “bonding experience” then became such a thing, that it turned into an “initiation” every time a male Bombshell arrived at the villa.
“By the second day, it was like, if you’re not in that shower together in the morning and evening, then you’re not one of the boys’. It was sort of an initiation.
“When the bombshells came in, like Reid and Kale, we were like, ‘You are going into that shower in the next hour if you want to be a part of the boys or join any of us.
“To be fair, they were straight in there. No f–king about.”
Meanwhile, apparently, they also compared eggplants and named them… So, there’s that.
Well, I’ve just reached my quota for the important news of the day! The more you know!
Love Island Australia Season 5 episodes drop daily from Monday to Thursday at 6pm AEDT, exclusively on 9Now and airs at 8.30 pm on Nine.
Big Brother Australia 2023 is only two episodes in and already one housemate down. The first collateral? 33-year-old policy manager Quan Ja.
The Vietnamese-born Australian told Chattr in a post-elimination interview that she was surprised about the lack of diversity in the house upon entry.
“Based on the old Big Brother format, I would prefer a range of diverse groups and ages, because that’s the game that I knew,” she said. “Walking into the house with a younger age group, that was a shock to me as well.”
Quan said that she’s read comments online about her eviction being race-driven, but believes that Big Brother did represent different nationalities through her and Dionne’s inclusion. She said she thinks that the main area the show was lacking in diversity was the age group, which ranges from 20 to 33.
“I did read some of the comments this morning on Facebook, and one of them said, “First Asian to go there’s some racism there.
“The public might see that [my eviction] and think the Big Brother house is not as diverse. Being first voted out and being a minority, people might have an opinion there. But we’ve got Dionne in there, I was in there. I think it was just the age range that was a bit different.”
Quan believes young contestants can still be strategic masterminds
With the lower age group on Big Brother Australia 2023, many viewers are questioning whether the same shrew tactics will come into play as in previous years.
Quan refuted this notion and pointed out that young players can still play the game strategically.
“Who’s to say that a younger generation isn’t as smart and isn’t as master mindful and be able to play the game?
So who does Quan consider the undercover mastermind in the house?
“It’s always the quieter ones, isn’t it? My time in the house was only three days, but certainly for me, based on what I’ve seen, it would be Louie.”
Big Brother Australia airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30 pm on 7 and 7Plus.
It’s episode six of Love Island Australia 2023 and after last night’s s–tshow of a Recoupling ceremony, tooooonight Bombshell Abby arrives to piss off Kirra.
Let the drama begin!
In case you’d forgotten, Ollie left the villa leaving a f–king tornado behind him, telling Kirra she was dumb AF for coupling up with Reid.
We begin the episode with Tia, Tyra and Queen of Facial Expressions, Nakia, saying Kirra “is giving delulu”, while also backing Ollie and his truth bomb. AMEN.
Tyra then begins to freak out, asking the girls Why TF they didn’t say anything.
Meanwhile, Reid spouts even more bulls–t, telling Kirra that they have to be prepared that people will say… how awful he is. This guy, man!
Over where people actually like each other, Master Snakerton a.k.a Zac, Lucinda and Snakerton’s apprentice, T-Dawg (Trent) plus his bae Savanah a.k.a Sav, are excited they can all share a bed…
Tyra and Ben then chat and he reassures her that he wants to get to know her; however, they have an audience of gossip mongers. Pete Gun Kelly (PGK) a.k.a Kale and Nakia watch on and are just like: Ben is cooked.
Poor Tyra. Between “This guy 🙄 ” Reid and “Waiting for a Bombshell” Ben, her choices are…limited.
In happier news, here are our winners. Nate and Tia.
Get you someone who looks at you the way Nate looks at Tia. Nine
Reid makes someone a coffee and it’s not Kirra
The next morning, “This guy 🙄 ” Reid and Kirra wake up (and as Eoghan the VO says, “He’s now shared a bed with both her and her sister”…) and Reid makes an exit for the door before she can even open her eyes.
Even though he’s feeling “refreshed” or whatever, he’s like, “I don’t have my first pick of women but I guess Kirra will have to do…” Man, Reid, you are becoming…the worst.
What’s more, he doesn’t even make her coffee which is a sick power move on Love Island. Instead, he makes one for Tyra, beating Ben to the punch. FORKING HELL.
Kirra. Coffeeless. Nine
“This guy 🙄 ” Reid and Kirra then have a weird convo about “overthinking in your sleep” which is his wild way of ensuring she’s still on the hook…
A Texxxt is received and Sav gives T-Dawg the ick
While the guys are performing their second favourite pastime (other than being a snake in the grass) by working out in the gym, Master Snakerton gets a TEXXXXXT!
“Hi Zac, Fancy a date on the beach? Bring a towel, it might get wet. Love Abby.”
Next up, “this guy 🙄 ” Reid also gets a text and he’s happy that Abby, “whoever she is”, has “choosen” him. Kirra is like, “Oh well. I hope she’s bald and is a b–ch.” Reid doesn’t care because he’s “fully open arms” to the opportunity.
Speaking of, boil the kettle, b–ches! The tea is about to get piping hot!
The final goodbye. Nine
Wait, first, we must hear that Sav took photos in the nude in a Photobooth at her Year 12 Formal… AND was made to call up the company and apologise for getting her “clacker out”…
T-Dawg is unimpressed and begins to get the ick.
She then invites PGK over for a “three-way snuggle”. He tells her he needs to get “wet”, and Sav is all like, “Me too… but I don’t need to get into a pool for that.”
“She needs to be like…more normal,” he tells PGK later. “She’s ruined it for herself a bit…she’s turning me off.”
“I think we all have different ideas of what’s right and wrong,” T-Dawg says in a confessional.
Abby drops in like a Bomb…shell
Abby finally walks in, describing herself as “funny, outgoing and obviously hot”. Also, according to her “drama always comes to me” which is a great time to remind you all that she was “dating” HarrisonBoonwhile he was getting married to Bronte Schofield a.k.a Kirra’s sister on MAFS.
WAIT. Does this mean if “this guy 🙄 ” hooks up with Abby, that means he would have hooked up with not only Bronte, but coupled up with her sister Kirra AND now would be hooking up with Bronte’s ex’s ex?! My head hurts and this is one effed-up love pentagon!!
“Hi, I’m Abby. I’m here to f–k s–t up!” Nine
First up is Mr Snakerton, who tells Abby that he’s coupled up with Lucinda. He also reveals that his nickname in the villa is “Kiwi Ken”, so obviously we are adopting that given Reid has taken his crown as the King of Snakes.
“What’s a Kin-Dell,” she asks. Lel.
Meanwhile, back in Le Villa, Lucinda is working out to get abs for when Kiwi Ken comes back. Kirra still doesn’t really GAF… but also hopes “they get heat stroke”.
Back on the date, Abby tells Kiwi Ken that she was on The Bachelors in 2022 and was also “involved in some of the drama” with MAFS.
S–t just got reeeeal interesting. Nine
Abby blows the eff up and storms out of her date
Kiwi Ken then tells Abby that Kirra is in Le Villa.
“Are you kidding me? Are you f–king serious? What the f–k?” Abby says to a producer. “I don’t want to do it anymore.”
Meanwhile, Kiwi Ken:
Not my circus. Nine
Abby comes back after hyperventilating in a bathroom and Zac is LIVIN’!!
“This guy 🙄 ” Reid then breezes in and he tells her she’s totally his type. Lol. They get along which means Kirra is now royally effed.
Kirra and Abby come face-to-face
Once he’s back in Le Villa, Kiwi Ken is freaking excited to tell the others what they’re about to witness.
Teasing out the story, Kirra realises exactly who Abby is.
“It’s the girl who ruined my sister’s wedding, so yeah we’re obviously gonna have beef,” she says, before adding: “It was her [Abby] and my sister and the same man, and now it’s me and her with the same man.” EEEEEEEP.
Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Nine
Abby then walks in holding “This guy 🙄 ” Reid’s hand and everyone is absolutely frothing the drama.
“I’m a bit worried knowing Kirra’s in here because I don’t know where we stand,” Abby says during a confessional.
“I don’t know Kirra at all but obviously there’s a bit of history and I don’t know how she’s feeling at all but she just doesn’t look happy.”
The pair go off for a chat and surprisingly agree on most things, including that ol’ mate MAFS Harrison is a “d–khead”.
Abby also reveals that she and Bronte are “sweet”, but considering she’s interested in Kirra’s current mate, it looks like they’re going to be anything but!
Kirra and Abby. The best of friends. Lel. Nine
T-Dawg tells Sav to “tone it down”
Given that Sav is hella intuitive, she feels like something is off with T-Dawg and they steal away for a talk.
“I absolutely love our banter and I think you’re so funny but I just think that some things are a little bit gross,” he tells her. “I don’t think that someone that would potentially see a future with you wants to hear those things.” Ooooft.
Sav is obviously rattled by the convo and breaks down in tears.
She admits it’s difficult to hear Trent telling her to “tone it down”. Is this the end for Sav-Dawg?!

More as we get it…
The Masked Singer Australia continues on Monday at 7.30pm on 10 and 10Play.
It’s the Grand Finale of The Masked Singer Australia 2023 and three Aussie megastars have been unveiled, while Snow Fox has come out victorious!
Snow Fox — Winner
Dami Im has taken home the ultimate prize on The Masked Singer Australia.
With her stunning rendition of Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman,” she left the Guessing Panel in awe; however, most were stumped over who was under the mask.
Mel B was sure that Snow Fox was Australian singer-songwriter Samantha Jade while Dave Hughes hedged his bets on Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland.
Abbie Chatfield locked in pop superstar Jessie J, whilst Chrissie ‘CSI’ Swan smashed out yet another correct guess, certain that it was Dami.
“It feels amazing to be out [from under the mask]. I actually won The X Factor here, on this same stage, exactly 10 years ago. And now I’m back winning this!”
She then revealed that she learned to speak English by listening to the Spice Girls! What a full-circle moment!
Dami Im. Ten
Grim Reaper
Runner-up Grim Reaper was also unveiled as Savage Garden icon, Darren Hayes!
He admitted that throughout the season, he had cried under his mask every time Abbie had become emotional at the thought of him being under the mask, given his influence on her journey to come out as bisexual.
“It’s really hard to sing and cry!” he said.
He later added: “I never thought I’d do this show [and] I’m so glad I did… It’s been like a warm hug, and I really needed that. I’ve had a tough year.”
Darren Hayes. Ten
Bouncer
The second runner-up, Bouncer, was unmasked as Conrad Sewell.
He revealed how excited he was to tell his young son Memphis that he was the voice behind Bouncer, before announcing that he and his partner have another baby on the way.
“It’s a little girl next, which is very lovely,” he said.
Love Island bombshell Abby has quite the colourful history with her fellow Islander Kirra, but she’s not worried about ruffling more feathers by stealing her man.
For those readers who missed the drama of Harrison Boon’s secret girlfriend of MAFS 2023, which inadvertently led to tension between Kirra and Abby on Love Island, let me give you a refresher.
Harrison married Bronte on Married At First Sight 2023, and at the wedding, she found out that he had a secret girlfriend at home, that woman was Abby.
Abby. Instagram.
Meanwhile, Kirra is Bronte’s sister who absolutely ~*hates*~ Harrison and ripped him a new one during a televised MAFS dinner feat the three of them.
So, it’s plain to see that throwing Kirra and Abby in a house together would be a little awks, which is (probably) exactly why producers did it.
Despite their history, during an interview withChattr, Abby said she couldn’t care less about upsetting Kirra by moving in on her match.
“If I liked whoever Kirra was paired with I would still give it a go. I’d give it a go with anyone in there. No matter who it was, I was always going to be with someone that I connected with,” she said.
“When you’re in there you don’t really think about that sort of stuff. You’re just doing it for yourself and that’s it,” she added.
And, indeed, it appears that Reid, who’s currently coupled up with Kirra, has captured Abby’s eye. After their date, Abby gushed to her fellow Islanders about the Perth personal trainer, which scored a major sideeye from Kirra.
Love Island. Nine.
Whether Abby will make a move on Kirra’s current match is still TBD.
Did Kirra and Abby know each other before the Love Island villa?
Abby confirmed that she’d never spoken to Kirra, but had watched the episodes of MAFS she appeared on. However, she said she formed a good relationship with Bronte, and the two are on good terms.
“We’re friendly now. We talked during the show when it was airing and after. So we’re all sweet,” she said.
Kirra and Bronte. Instagram.
Was Abby on Love Island to find the one, or to find fame?
While Abby didn’t actually appear on MAFS, her identity was uncovered in the media and her social media following certainly got a healthy injection as a result.
However, Love Island nor MAFS was her first encounter with reality TV. Abby actually appeared on the 2023 season of The Bachelors, and was one of the women who was in the running to win Jed McIntosh‘s heart.
Despite her reality TV background, Abby insisted that she entered the show for the “experience”.”
“It’s a TV show at the end of the day, if you find love you find love if you don’t, it’s a good experience. So if people want to say that [I went onto Love Island for fame] then whatever, they don’t know how I’m feeling or why I did it.”
Love Island. Nine.
Love Island Australia Season 5 episodes drop daily from Monday to Thursday at 6pm AEDT on 9Now.
OllieLawson‘s time in the Love Island Australia 2023 villa came to an end during the November 6 episode of the show, being dumped from the island after Kirra Schofield chose Reid Polak in the first Recoupling Ceremony.
The exit was not without fanfare, given that Ollie had tried to warn Kirra about Reid’s intentions, before unceremoniously spraying the s–t out of the two of them as he was about to leave.
Speaking to Chattr after his elimination, the 24-year-old admitted that his dumping came as a complete shock, considering they had a pact that was not televised.
Ollie and Kirra. Nine
“I had her back literally from day dot. I was the one, that I felt, that was sort of keeping her in there. I was the one who was taking out a bit of time just to make sure she was alright. I was just always that guy. I was her safe space,” he said.
According to Ollie, he and Kirra had a conversation that they would keep each other in the Villa until one of them found a genuine connection. Given that Reid and Kirra, did in fact, not have a genuine connection, this is what pissed Ollie off the most.
“It would have been sweet if she’d found that. I would have left and I wouldn’t have kicked up a fuss but the fact that it was all just so fake. I was just like, ‘I can’t watch this. It’s embarrassing!”
Ollie on the set of Love Island Australia. Nine
The FIFO mining worker then admitted that Kirra was ready to go home from the get-go.
“They didn’t show this in the show, but she cried every day. She was in the rooms trying to call home. She really wasn’t having a good time in there. I was the shoulder to cry on.”
How did Ollie feel after the Dumping?
When Kirra chose Reid, Ollie was shocked.
“I didn’t know that she was going to pick him like, at least initially,” he said of the events that transpired. “When the recoupling was on, I thought I was pretty sweet.”
However, after speaking to Kirra and she wouldn’t listen to him, he admitted he wasn’t “that desperate to stay in the Villa and be that guy”.
“All I was thinking was, I really hope that you get what’s coming to you. You’ve made your bed, now you got to lie in it.”
Reid and Kirra. Nine
When asked if he’d spoken to Kirra since filming wrapped, he said: “Not at all.” Ooft.
And Reid?
“Nah, I haven’t spoken to him at all,” he said. “Listen. He played the game. But at the same time I’d love to have a little boxing match with him.”

Who remembers the good old days when Big Brother Australia was filmed at Dreamworld? Welp, those days are long gone and the OG house was ripped down back in 2019.
Instead, the BB 2023 housemates actually filmed inside a specially built production studio, as opposed to a house. This helped significantly when half of the housemates had to ride an ‘express train’ to the Big Brother house, which was actually located next door in another studio.
While it’s known that this year’s Big Brother Australia is filmed inside a studio, the exact location hasn’t been revealed yet.
Big Brother. Seven.
Where were the previous seasons of Big Brother Australia filmed?
The 2022 season was filmed in Sydney’s Olympic Park.
The 2021 season was filmed in Sydney’s North Head in Manly, but the house was ripped down just one year later.
Big Brother. Seven.
What is the prize for the winner of Big Brother 2023?
The sexy single who makes it all the way to the end of the game will receive a prize of $100,000.
Who’s in the Big Brother house this year?
The cast is made up of housemates who are all young, sexy and single. Series showrunners have been pushing a ‘House of Love’ agenda, and said that the relationships in the house will change the dynamic of the game.
During an interview with Chattr, host Sonia Kruger reiterated that this season has had a shake-up.
“It’s very different from the past couple of years where there’s been a lot of strategy and a Survivor-esque sort of style to it,” she said.
“With every television show, you need to keep evolving and keep changing. And this is what the producers of Big Brother do really well.”

Since the shock announcement of Friends star Matthew Perry’s death at 54, fans around the world have felt a wave of grief that has hit many like no other.
And according to Jane Sibbett, the actor who played Carol, Ross (David Schwimmer) in the long-running series, on the day of his funeral, his family announced the creation of the Matthew Perry Foundation.
The official website for the organisation reads: “The Matthew Perry Foundation is the realisation of Matthew’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction.
“It will honour his legacy and be guided by his own words and experiences and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible.”
Matthew Perry. The Matthew Perry Foundation.
Alongside their mission statement is a quote that has now become synonymous with the actors passing.
“When I die, I don’t want Friends to be the first thing that’s mentioned – I want helping others to be the first thing that’s mentioned. And I’m going to live the rest of my life proving that.
Addiction is far too powerful for anyone to defeat alone. But together, one day at a time, we can beat it down.”
Matthew Perry’s struggles with Addiction
While a worldwide household name, Perry was also an addict — the “big, terrible thing” he referenced in his memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing in 2022.
In the book, he characterised himself as a “ready-made, just-add-water” addict.
He was an alcoholic, after having his first drink at the age of 14, and was hooked on painkillers after a jetski accident.
In one excerpt, he recalled driving a red Mustang while high, feeling “complete and utter euphoria”.
“I remember thinking, ‘If this doesn’t kill me, I’m doing this again.’”
Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.
In another account from his book, Perry revealed a haunting reality – consuming a staggering 55 Vicodin daily and resorting to desperate tactics to obtain them.
He would feign migraines or other physical distress, enduring MRIs with various healthcare professionals. Every Sunday, he would attend open houses, scouring the medicine cabinets of different residences in search of any medication he could procure.
In 2018, his colon ruptured, leading to a harrowing two-week coma. His family were told he had a 2% chance of survival.
He was then placed on an ECMO machine and fought for his life. He then lived with a colostomy bag for nine months.
Then, during the later seasons of Friends, he would turn up on set drunk, high or hungover, concerning Jennifer Aniston.
“‘We can smell it,’ she said, in a kind of weird but loving way,” he wrote in his memoir.
Matthew Perry and the cast of Friends. HBO
Throughout his life, he attended 6,000 AA meetings, gone to rehab 15 times, been in detox 65 times, been on life support and had spent between $7-$9 USD million trying to get sober.
While we don’t know what led to his death, we now know that we too can help others dealing with addiction through his foundation.
It’s Big Brother Australia 2023 episode 1 and it’s time to meet the contestants and find out what this ‘house of love’ schmick is all about.
As the contestants stroll down the carpet, it’s clear to see that the promos weren’t kidding about them being young and hot, but will we still get the strategy from previous seasons?
One thing is a given, we’ve got a whole lot of whinging from Minee and Annelise in episode one.
Read on to find out what happens!
1. Sonia Kruger mentions to Annelise that her housemate Dion is ‘tall dark and handsome’ and she responds by saying: “I’m taller right now”. Offt! Harsh Annelise, very harsh.
2. Dion won that round of rock scissors and paper fair and square, what is Annelise so salty about?
3. Dion’s “You’re a stripper for sure,” comment to Josh is reality TV gold.
Big Brother. Seven.
4. Yess! Jake got sent to the overnight train rather than the house, and unlike Annelise, he’s not whinging about it. I think I’m going to like him.
5. Zach, Anna-Sophia, Quan, Luke, Gracie May and Loui all missed out on a single entrances and got lumped together. Brutal.
6 . How did we skip down to the final pair already?
7. For a second I thought we were getting another instalment of the Logan brothers with the sisters, but alas, they’re just voting together. Boring.
Big Brother. Seven.
8. Wine and cheese on their train ride to the BB house! What are the housemates (ahem, Annelise) complaining about? I feel like it could have been so much worse than 24 hours on a ‘train’ with private rooms and hot people.
9. Can Annelise give the winging a break?
10. The housemates are given the option to retrieve housemates from the train one by one, what’s the bet Annelise will be the last one out?
11. Dion calling Taylah “Katy Perry” is probably the most on-point comment in this episode.
12. There’s high maintenance, and then there’s Minee. Who cares if your hair gets slimed in the challenge? it’s called shampoo.
Big Brother. Seven.
13. Will Annelise ever let go of the door debacle? She’s in the house and she’s still going on about it. Give it a rest.
14. This King and Queen suite is giving the Boom Boom Room from Are You The One?
15. Welp, looks like King Josh and Queen Tay are going to use it exactly how BB intended. Up Late is going to be interesting!

It’s episode five of Love Island Australia 2023 and “TOOOONIGHT” Nakia and Tyra compete over Kale a.k.a Pete Gun Kelly (PGK), before a Recoupling ceremony shakes up the villa and someone gets dumped!
Here’s everything that happened!
After their date during episode four, Tyra tells Nakia that she’s gonna let her do her thing with Pete Gun Kelly because she doesn’t know if he just has a really “good energy” or if there’s something there.
Nakia is concerned but is keen to pull him for a chat to get the “411”.
Meanwhile, PGK is chatting to all the boys and admits for Ben’s sake that he wished it hadn’t gone so well with Tyra and that originally, Nakia caught his eye before anyone else.
Once again, Tyra says PGK has absolutely “thrown” her because she definitely had a better convo with him than she’s had with Ben. And Nakia was…less than happy about it.
Nakia is…not happy. Nine
Tyra then calls Ben a “sweet angel boy” and Lucinda plays the devil’s advocate, saying that maybe a “sweet angel boy” isn’t what she wants. Confused, Tyra decides she needs some serious time in her “mind palace” to figure s–t out.
Ben disappoints Tyra and Kale reveals debriefs with Sav
After the girls debrief, Sav tells PGK that Tyra is confuzzled because she’s had better chats with him in one hour than she has had with Ben the entire time.
Meanwhile, literally 30cm away, Ben plants the seed in Tyra’s mind that PGK is actually more into Nakia… do we spot another snake in the grass?? Tyra is disappointed AF but pretends she’s not.
“Do you want to walk with me to the toilet,” she asks Ben sadly.
“Yeh, sure,” he says.
And that my friends, is their relo in a nutshell.
Tyra. Nine
In other disappointing news, Tia told Reid she’s actually feeling Nate, and Reid — who chose her when he entered the Villa — is not surprised, given she can’t even look at him longer than 2.5 seconds…
Nate is thrilled by the news. Lucinda who?!
Tia and Nate. Nine
Nakia and Kale kiss and Tyra pretends to be happy for her
Nakia and PGK head off for a chat and she admits in a confessional that she “low-key wished” his date with Tyra had sucked. Luckily for her, while his conversation flowed better with Tyra, with Nakia, he just “wanted to rip” her clothes off. How romantic!
They kiss and he comments on her cherry chewie. I cannot with these people.
PGK (Kale) and Nakia. Nine
In the glam room, Sav is shocked to hear that Ben told Tyra that PGK wasn’t that into her given her earlier conversation with him, before Nakia tells the girls she and PGK “had a little kiss”.
Tyra — although dying a sad, heartbroken death inside — is happy for Nakia… and basically, we know that someone is going to hurt at the end of this…and her name is NAKIA.
Meanwhile, the boys are doing this:
The boys doing…something?! Nine
Kale and Tyra chat and are relieved they’re on the same page
Later that evening, PGK and Tyra leave the group to have a chat and Nakia looks like this:
Nakia is not…thrilled. Nine
Tyra tells…nay dobs… on the boys a.k.a Ben who told her that PGK only likes her as a friend.
“That’s bulls–t,” he tells her before admitting the he feels they’re “aligned” and that they finish each other’s…sandwiches.
She then tells him that if Nakia wasn’t in the picture, she’d pursue him, but since she is, she’s gonna take a “big ol’ step back”.
He is gutted.
Kale is sad. Nine
Ben drops a bombshell on Tyra
Back with the group, Tyra asks Ben how he’s feeling and he says everything is “chill”.
“I feel like you’re just waiting for a bombshell to come in,” she says to him.
Ben’s response: “Well, yeh. Because I don’t have any options. I feel like it’s important to have options, if…” IF WHAT, BEN?! IF WHAT?!
“Do you think you actually like me, or do you think I’m the best option out of what you’ve got?” she asks him.
“I wanna try and stay open because it’s so early,” he says.
Tyra = WTAF?! Nine
The next morning, Reid makes Tyra a coffee (C’moooon, Reid!) and she continues to be p–sed at Ben.
Meanwhile, Kirra — who we legitimately forgot was here — is in the friend zone with Ollie — who we also forgot existed — and she’s like: “Mama didn’t raise a quitter…or a b–ch”. And damn straight she didn’t!
Unfortunately, we’re then subjected to a montage of the guys working out. What. a. shame.
Reid gives Kirra false hope
Reid and Tyra realise they’re kinda sorta into each other which works out well because Kirra gets a TEXXXXXT!
Tonight, the girls will have the power to choose during a Recoupling Ceremony and whoever is left single will be dumped from le Villa.
Reid gets to work “conversating” with Tyra — who actually couldn’t look any less interested — but says she wants to get to know him.
Over in the “bros to bros” neck of the woods, Master Zac a.k.a Snakerton, is telling Ben what he’s heard through the grapevine but Ben already knows he is useless, so it is pretty pointless.
Reid then hatches a plan to save himself, in case Tyra chooses Ben, and speaks to Kirra about coupling up. He gives her some serious false hope, saying he would be open to getting to know her if she was “comfortable with it” given he’d already hooked up with her sister.
“Really?” Kirra asks him. And yes, Reid. Really?
Kirra is shocked. Nine
He tells her that he’d be keen to see what they could “blossom into” which is absolute bulls–t since only five minutes ago, he was just going to use her to stay.
Naturally, he becomes the talk of the town and the boys are all like:
Ollie then pulls Kirra aside and tells her what he’s heard aka that Reid wouldn’t get with her and Kirra is like: “Ah well, I’ll try anyway.” F–K ME. Kirra, NO!!
Shaking his damn head, Ollie is miffed that these guys would prey on a vulnerable girl and says he won’t be doing any of that s–t, even to stay in the villa.
Recoupling Ceremony
The new couples are as follows:
Kale is the first cab off the rank given he was a Bombshell and chooses Nakia
Sav and Trent
Tia and Nate
Lucinda and Master Snakerton (Zac)
Tyra and Ben!!!!!
Kirra and Reid
Well, f–k.
Ollie is dumped from the island and as a parting gift, he gives Reid AND Kirra an absolute spray.
“I’m not naive,” Kirra says. “I can’t be emotionally manipulated. So please don’t stand up there and tarnish my character.”
Reid tries to defend himself but Ollie says: “It’s a last-minute scramble, that’s what it is. It’s a f–king s–t-show!”
It sure is! And we can’t get enough!

A romance could be in the waters for Below Deck captain Jason Chambers and Vanderpump Rule’sLala Kent after a run-in at BravoCon.
It all kicked off during an interview panel when a fan asked Captain Jason, Captain Glenn Shepherd and Captain Kerry Titheradge who their dream Bravo charter guest would be.
“Lala Kent,” Jason quickly responded, which was met with screaming and cheers from the audience.
The potential of the power couple had fans shipping them, and a Page Six reporter later asked Below Deck Down Under chief stew Aesha Scott about the possibility of a romance between the reality stars.
“He would la la love some Lala,” she responded.
Jason was slightly more coy when pressed about it, but he did confirm the two had caught up at the event.
“We have met. We have exchanged … we have communicated,” he said with a smile.
Lala Kent shared a cheeky post with Jason Chambers
Lala fuelled the rumours by sharing a photo of her cuddled up with Jason with her 2.3 million Instagram followers.
She also shared a video of her spotting Jason in a foyer and calling out to him for a photo.
“You… come!” she can be heard saying in the vid which she captioned, “I always get what I want”.
Bravo celebrities are here for a romance between Jason and Lala
Just hours after Lala shared the photo, it had more than one hundred thousand likes.
“POWER COUPLE,” former Below Deck chief stew Kate Chastain wrote. Real Housewives of The OC star Emily Simpson also approved, commenting a bunch of fire emojis on the pic.
And, it’s not just reality stars who are here for the crossover, thousands of fans voiced their support in the comments section.
“Now this is the man you deserve,” one wrote, while another penned: “This is gonna break Instagram.” A third commented, “VPR Cast trip on below Deck Down Under, PLEASE!!!!”

Sonia Kruger may be the host of Big Brother Australia, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t thought about entering the BB house herself.
During an interview with Chattr, the Gold Logie winner admitted that sharing a bathroom with the other housemates would be a problem for her.
“I think the personalities, that’s fine,” she said. “I work in television, we have to deal with a lot of different types of personalities all the time.
“It’s the privacy aspect that I would struggle with. I don’t like sharing a bathroom with my own family, so how am I going to share it with 15 strangers?”
Big Brother. Seven.
Kruger went into more detail and explained that the doors to the toilet aren’t like regular doors at a home bathroom.
“They don’t have doors that close from top to bottom. It’s like a stall,” she said. “It’s the whole audio aspect of that that I’m not down with.”
Sonia Kruger revealed what’s on her Big Brother rider
Kruger said that if she were to go in the Big Brother house, she’d want to be allowed access to the perks, like the luxurious King and Queen suite that’s introduced this year.
“That’s more my speed,” she laughed. “The king and queen suite is really luxurious and it’s got all the treats in it. I’m pretty sure it has its own private bathroom. I would definitely want that. If I had to put a rider on it, that’s what it would be.”
Big Brother. Seven.
How this season is different from previous seasons
Big Brother Australia 2023 has been touted as the ‘season of love’ and all the housemates are young, single and well… hot.
Kruger said the romance factor changes the game in the upcoming season, and explained that the dynamic has shifted away from a competitive game-show style.
“It’s very different from the past couple of years where there’s been a lot of strategy and a Survivor-esque sort of style to it.
“With every television show, you need to keep evolving and keep changing. And this is what the producers of Big Brother do really well.”
Big Brother. Seven.
Kruger said that producers looked back at old seasons of Big Brother to determine what made the show successful at the time.
“It was about relationships? It was How about it was about how people interacted with each other. That’s the thing that fascinates all of us, there’s quite a bit it’s the Voyer in us, we want to see how other people conduct themselves in relationships.
“The whole process of them falling in love falling out of love, jealousy, love triangles, you know how that affects them strategically because, at the end of the day, they still had to nominate they still have to play the game.”
Big Brother Australia starts Monday November 6 on Channel 7 and 7plus.
The Block 2023 might have wrapped but the drama certainly hasn’t. Both Kristy and Brett and their real estate agent Sam Inan have blamed each other following their relatively low auction profits.
ICYMI, Brett and Kristy’s The Block house sold for $3,035,000, which left them with a profit of $65,000. While the price doesn’t sound too grim – their neighbours Steph and Gian and Eliza and Liberty both left with over $1 million per team.
The bidders weren’t aware of the team’s reserves, however, Kristy and Brett’s agent alluded to the price when he asked for offers in the higher two million dollar range.
What ensued was a rapid bidding war, but the dollar amounts didn’t swell up like they did with houses four and five.
“Our agent s*** the bed with our game plan […] of what we went forward with,” Kristy told Yahoo Lifestyle. “He pretty much said what our reserve price was to everyone at the auction, which not only crawled mine but also crawled the other two houses. He didn’t have to say what the reserves were.”
The Block. Nine.
Leah and Ash and Lesley and Kyle had the same reserve, and the hint at Kristy and Brett’s price was indicative of the other two’s.
Kristy and Brett were openly disappointed about the sale during the episode but told the publication it was because they were frustrated with their agent.
“We came on for an experience, we came in with a game plan and a strategy,” she continued. “We are not mad for the $65,000 price, we know that is a lot of money. We are mad at the way that auction played out.”
Kristy and Brett’s agent defended himself
Kristy and Brett called out Sam during the auction, and Scotty Cam agreed that his reference to the reserve price wasn’t a clever move.
The Block. Nine.
However, Sam told The Age that there were Consumer Affairs Victoria inspectors present at the auction, and said they told him during the break that “once proceedings resumed, he should reiterate that the home was on the market.”
Sam explained to Yahoo Lifestyle that the department’s presence affected his decision.
“You can say ‘I am not ready to answer that.’ However, with Consumer Affairs in the room it is difficult,” he said.
“It is hard not to tell the honest truth and not say that it is on the market.”
“I had come up with a different strategy with the contestants Kristy and Brett, but I was overruled by producers and I can see that House 3 is visibly upset.”
Sam hinted that Kristy and Brett’s actions on the show affected their sale price
While Sam told the publication that while the people bidding on the houses were unlikely to be influenced by the contestant’s portrayal on The Block, there’s a chance it could have an effect.
“Who knows what the narratives are… the public who follow the show aren’t the people who buy the houses,” Sam said.
“Perhaps if the contestants were more popular, then it might have helped the auctioneers a little bit more.”
Reality TV fans were in heaven when bombshell after bombshell was dropped at BravoCon in Las Vegas, including the announcement of a new captain for OG Below Deck.
Much to the dismay of many, it was announced at the convention that Captain Lee Rosbach wouldn’t be returning for the new season. Australian Captain Kerry Titheradge, who helmed the super yacht on Below DeckAdventure is taking his place.
“New captain, new rules,” flashed on screen during the trailer. “Ship just got real.”
“I know I have big shoes to fill, but I like it that way,” Kerry said in the clip. “You work hard, you’ll be rewarded. You f— around? I will f—ing turn in a heartbeat.”
Who’s in Below Deck season 11?
Only two former crew members are returning for the new season; chief stew Fraser Olender and lead deckhand Ben Willoughby.
The new crew members are chef Anthony Iracane, bosun Jared Woodin, deckhands Marie “Sunny” Marquis and Kyle Stillie, and stews Cat Baugh, Xandi Olivier, and Barbie Pascual.

Childhood sweethearts Steph and Gian smashed records at The Block finale when they pocketed $1.75 million in profit and prize money.
After their high reserve of $3.35 million was revealed earlier in the episode, the NSW couple weren’t confident that their house would sell at auction.
The newly minted millionaires have now revealed what they will do with some of their winnings.
“It’s going to clear our debts in Sydney, it’s going to really set us up for the next stage,” Gian told 9Entertainment.
“There’s big things in the pipeline,” he added, with Steph agreeing.
Gian broke their profit down into an enormous daily rate.
“In a 12-week competition it’s 137,500 a week,” he said, jokingly telling Steph: “That’s your hourly rate now.”
What are Eliza and Liberty’s plans for the money?
Eliza and Liberty were the other big winners of The Block auctions. Their five-bedroom home went for $4,.3 million, which gave them a profit of $1.05 million.
While the sisters were struggling to come to terms with their big win, they did have one splurge in mind.
“We’d love to go on a big fun European holiday, maybe stay in some nice places!” Liberty said.
Eliza reiterated her shock over their massive winnings to Domain.com.
“We didn’t even contemplate how we would spend that kind of money because we never even thought it would be a thing for us,” she said.
How much did each contestant win?
Steph and Gian and Eliza and Liberty were the two big winners of auction day. The other contestants didn’t fare as well, and Leah and Ash’s house didn’t even sell at auction.
