“You’re a clown”: When does the explosive Love is Blind 2024 reunion come out in Australia?

While watching the Love Is Blind contestants fall in love sight unseen is cool and all, it’s the reunion episode that always brings the D-R-A-M-A.

Which couples have broken up, who had secret relationships on the outside and who switched up their partners are a few of the topics usually tackled at the reunion.

And, the Love Is Blind 2024 reunion looks to be no exception. So, here’s how you can watch it all unfold in Australia.

How to watch Netflix’s Love Is Blind reunion in Australia

Netflix drops Love is Blind episodes in clumps, usually leaving viewers with a cliff hanger and counting the days until the next instalment. All that’s left to come out of Love Is Blind season six is the reunion, and it’s undoubtedly the most anticipated episode.

However, the release time and date for the reunion is in American ET and PT time, which is… basically jibberish for us Australians.

That’s where we come in with the info about how and when you can watch the episode as soon as it comes up.

The reunion will drop on Wednesday, March 13, at 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT (USA time), which, for us Aussies, will be March 14th at 12pm AEST.

Is there a trailer?

There is and it’s WILD. Watch a sneak peek of the drama below.

Will the LIB reunion be live?

Last year’s Love is Blind season four reunion was broadcast live on Netflix and… it was a hot mess.

Technical difficulties led to over an hour of delays, and the show ultimately crashed Netflix’s streamer, which caused an uproar on Twitter.

So, unsurprisingly, the Love is Blind season six reunion will not be live.

Who will be hosting the Love is Blind reunion?

Married couple Nick and Vanessa Lachley will be back as hosts for the sixth time.

Who got married during the Love is Blind finale?

Only three couples – Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell, Amy Cortés and Johnny McIntyre, Clay Gravesande and AD Smith – made it to the final episode.

Jimmy broke up with Chelsea before the wedding, while Clay said “I don’t” to AD at the altar. So, Amy and Johnny were the only couple to officially tie the knot.

“Disappointed with how… it came out”: MAFS Lauren reveals if she knew about Sara and her ex

Married at First Sight’s Lauren Dunn is clearly close with Sara Mesa, which has MAFS fans wondering whether she knew that her pal “cheated” on Tim Calwell.

Lauren has admitted that she knew that Sara decided to meet up with her ex for drinks behind Tim’s back, and she decided to keep quiet on the subject. However, Lauren stressed that Sara didn’t hook up with him at the event.

“I did know about Sara meeting up with the ex, Eden [Harper] knew, I knew that nothing happened and it was honestly a non-issue,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

“However, I can say in hindsight that it was very hurtful to Tim to find out the way he found out, because lying about something makes someone feel like there’s something to hide,” she added.

Did Lauren confront Sara about her plans to meet up with her ex?

Lauren had absolutely no problem calling out Jack Dunkley’s questionable morals for having a girlfriend while interviewing for the show, so viewers were surprised to see that she didn’t have the same fury towards Sara.

The WA bride said that she did confront Sara about the secret meet-up in private, but didn’t think anything suss was going down.

“I did say to Sara you should just tell him who cares? And her concern was that he’d been cheated on in the past and it would make him think that something was going on that wasn’t,” she explained.

“So I can see both sides, but obviously seeing how hurt Tim was on the screen was hard to watch.”

Is Lauren still friends with Eden after she outed Lauren?

At the beginning of MAFS 2024, Lauren, Sara, Eden and Tori Adams appeared to be thick as thieves. However, Tori has since sided with Jack and separated herself from the group, while post-filming Instagram posts show just Lauren and Sara spending a lot of time together.

Of course, it was Eden and her ‘husband’ Jayden who confronted Sara about the “affair” after Sara confided in her about meeting up with her ex.

However, despite being tight with Sara, Lauren maintains that she’s still friends with Eden.

“Eden and I definitely had a friendship, and we continue to have a friendship,” she told the publication.

“It definitely didn’t ruin the friendship. I was just disappointed with how it was it came out.”

The reason that Lucinda and Timothy’s full “Bullshit Investigators” letter wasn’t shown on MAFS

The Married At First Sight “Bullshit Investigators” letter from Lucinda and Timothy to Tori and Jack was one of the most iconic MAFS moments ever, so why wasn’t the whole thing shown?

The letter covered several points about Jack and Tori’s relationship, but Tori only read out two of the bullet points and half of a third.

In the first Tori covered the topic about her and Jack not having had sex yet.

“You two are both sexual people, why haven’t you had sex? The pressure of the experiment is not an excuse,” Tori began.

Tori and Jack letter
Tori and Jack reading the letter on MAFS. Nine.

Then she skipped to a lower point and left out some crucial information.

“The girl in the article: Jack, you have openly said that she is batshit crazy, that you have blocked her from everything,” Tori said.

Lastly, Tori read out the task that Lucinda and Timothy had set for them.

“Our task for you both this week is to invite the girl from the article and do a three-way conversation between her Jack and Tori and come clean on what you have been dragging her through without her knowing it.”

Lucinda and Timothy writing the MAFS letter
Lucinda and Timothy writing the letter. Nine.

What parts of the letter weren’t shown on TV?

There was a fair bit left out of the letter, and we have a theory as to why it wasn’t aired, but more on that later.

The episode completely omitted the second point, which was about Tori and Jack’s reaction at the most recent Commitment Ceremony, and implied that the pair weren’t being truthful during their couch session.

“Why was it that at the Commitment Ceremony, you were both lounging on each other on the couch and then as soon as you got up in front of the experts, you were acting as if there was a problem. The minute you were off the couch you were back in the same position?” The point read.

Secondly, according to the letter, Tori has been speaking about getting married (for real) to Jack in Spain, which is !?! in itself.

“Why is it that Tori speaks of you two getting married in Spain after this experiment and Jack knows nothing about the wedding in Spain? Get your stories together.”

Thirdly, half of the information about Jack’s ex was left out, while Tori did read out the part about Jack saying his ex is “batshit crazy”, the letter actually said Jack has allegedly been showing “naked photos of her without her permission.”

The MAFS letter from Lucinda and Timothy
The letter. Nine.

Why weren’t these points from the letter shown on TV?

Of course, with a reality TV show like MAFS, there’s always an issue of time, and only so much can fit into one episode.

However, with a letter as juicy as the one written by Lucinda and Timothy AKA the “Bullshit Dectors”, surely it would have been possible to cut out some of the fluff from the other couples?

This leads us to believe that multiple points of the letter weren’t shown on TV because they’ve already been edited out of previous episodes, so addressing them would leave viewers confused.

For example, there’s never been a single mention of Tori and Jack getting married in Spain, which could be a whole spin-off on its own.

Tori and Jack’s MAFS wedding. Nine.

Even more compellingly, Sara recently implied that Jack did allegedly show castmates naked pictures of his ex, but it was edited out. It’s important to note that NSW has a strict revenge porn laws, which is defined as “the recording and distributing of intimate images of a person without consent”.

Earlier this month, both Sara and Jack appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O show, and Jack was asked about the alleged unaired scene by co-host Jackie O after So Dramatic! reported on it.

“Is it true that you were showing cast members nude pics of your ex?” She questioned.

Jack mumbled a response before Sara jumped in. “He’s lucky that we left on the chopping block because if that was on television then pretty sure people would have a very strong opinion of that,” she said.

Rather than denying the claim, Jack vaguely said: “There’s a lot that has been left out, and there was a lot of TV that was made.”

The sad reason why Lauren will be missing this week’s MAFS Dinner Party and Commitment Ceremony

It’s plainly obvious that Lauren Dunn brings a whole lot of energy to Married At First Sight, but, unfortunately, she won’t be at this week’s Dinner Party and Commitment Ceremony.

Daily Mail Australia has reported that the popular bride will be forced to fly home to Perth for emergency surgery, which means she’ll be taking a break from MAFS.

“I actually woke up on the weekend before and my arm was like completely purple, really swollen. I had to fly back to Perth, so I could have keyhole surgery to remove a clot and missed out on a week of filming,” Lauren told the publication.

Will Jonathan leave the experiment too?

Although they’ve had their ups and downs, Jonathan McCullough and Lauren’s relationship has been going relatively well in recent weeks.

So well, in fact, that Jonathan took a break from filming and actually flew over to Western Australia to see Lauren while she was in hospital.

“Jono flew to Perth the following days, which was great… I was so happy to have him in Perth and he gets to stay at my house and get to know me and my environment a bit better,” she said.

Will Lauren return to MAFS?

Lauren fans fret not, because the fan-favourite returns to the experiment after surgery, which actually took place when the show was being filmed last year.

“There was no show without her,” a production source told the publication. “Everything was sort of on hold until she got back.”

Although Jonathan flew over to Perth to see Lauren, he still managed to make the Dinner Party.

“I was fully coaching him about walking into that dinner party alone… I’m like, ‘Okay, this is what you need to do,'” Lauren laughed.

We know what’s in MAFS’ Lucinda and Timothy’s “bulls**t” letter and you won’t believe the task

It’s no secret that Timothy and Lucinda don’t exactly get along with Tori and Jack, so you can imagine the couple’s delight when they were tasked with setting Tori and Jack a challenge on Married At First Sight.

As we’ve seen in the MAFS preview, Timothy and Lucinda type up a “Bulls**t Detector” which Tori and Jack don’t take too kindly in.

And, once you see what Timothy and Lucinda bravely included in the letter, you probably won’t be too surprised about Tori and Jack’s reaction!

Timothy and Lucinda delivering the letter on MAFS. Nine.

What did the letter say?

The preview shows a hilarious montage of Timothy and Lucinda stealthily delivering the letter under their arch-nemises’ door.

So what did the letter say?

“This is the BULLS**T INVESTIGATORS and we’re calling BULLS**T on you two!” It began.

“You two are both sexual people, why haven’t you had sex? The pressure of the experiment is not an excuse. Every week you say you’re building? To what?” The first point asked.

“Why was it that at the Commitment Ceremony, you were both lounging on each other on the couch and then as soon as you got up in front of the experts, you were acting as if there was a problem. The minute you were off the couch you were back in the same position?”

Lucinda and Timothy then refer to Jack’s ex-girlfriend, who he previously admitted to dating while auditioning for MAFS.

“The girl in the article: Jack, you have openly said that she is batshit crazy, that you have blocked her from everywhere, yet you show naked photos of her without her permission,” it said.

“Why is it that Tori speaks of you two getting married in Spain after this experiment and Jack knows nothing about the wedding in Spain? Get your stories together.”

What task did Lucinda and Timothy set for Tori and Jack?

Timothy and Lucinda were asked to think of a task for Tori and Jack that would help to strengthen their relationship.

This is where things got especially dirty… Timothy and Lucinda told the couple to invite Jack’s ex-girlfriend over for an open conversation.

“Our task for you both this week is to invite the girl from the article and do a three-way conversation between her Jack and Tori and come clean on what you have been dragging her through without her knowing it.”

Australian Survivor’s Rianna explains what it takes to become a Challenge Beast

Having claimed multiple Immunity Wins throughout Australian Survivor 2024, Rianna Bowley was overwhelmingly considered the number one Challenge Beast of the season.

That – along with being Kirby’s “right-hand man” – saw a huge target on Rianna’s back, and she was finally voted off the tribe on Monday night’s episode.

But what does it take to become a Survivor Challenge Beast? During an exclusive interview with Chattr, the 31-year-old broke it down.

Rianna and Kirby at Tribal Council. Ten.

“The Challenge Beast stuff, I’m so privileged to be called that, but I feel like it’s cumulative of things I’ve done in my life,” she explained.

“I’ve always done heaps of hiking, and I’ve always been into the gym. And back in the day, I played every sport under the sun that you can think of, I think just doing all those things over time.

“I love to push myself harder than the average person. Say, when I’m on a treadmill I’ll be like, ‘No, I cannot leave until I get this far.'”

In episode 17, Rianna and tribemate Alex were the last castaways standing at the Immunity Challenge, and it turned into a showdown between the two, with Rianna taking out the win.

“I have to beat everyone,” she said. “I’m a little bit stubborn, and I hate losing, so I get really competitive. I think that happened in Survivor a little bit with poor Alex, I was like, “Nope I’m not letting you win.”

Alex and Rianna in the Survivor Immunity Challenge. Ten.

How did Rianna prepare for Survivor?

It’s no secret that the Survivor Immunity Challenges are extremely gruelling, with some lasting hours at a time.

However, Rianna said that she didn’t do anything special to prepare physically for the show.

“I actually didn’t do anything specifically before I left,” she laughed. “Especially because it’s only about three weeks before I left that they told me that I was actually going, so you really need to already have your fitness up to scratch before then.”

Rianna on Survivor. Ten.

However, she did say that a lot of the challenges require core strength, which was something that worked to her advantage.

“Pilates, all the core things that I do, I think they help a lot, I think it was just lucky that a lot of the stuff had already done just really helped in the challenges that I was given on Survivor.

“Nobody can take away your voice”: Drea reveals the powerful lessons she learnt on Australian Idol

Fans were shocked when R&B singer Drea Onamade was eliminated from Australia Idol on Monday, March 11 alongside Kiani Smith.

But, while Drea may be out of the Australian Idol competition, she’s taking away some powerful lessons that she learned while on the show.

During an Interview with Chattr, Drea said that she tried to keep a positive mindset throughout the process; something she’s done throughout her entire life.

“What I dealt with growing up was a lot of comparisons and it did come up again now. But the biggest piece of advice is to do the best that you can do, and you will fall short sometimes, but take the little wins,” she said.

“If you have little wins, add that to your bag, these are things like nobody can take away from you, the experiences that you have, and nobody can take away your voice.”

Drea on Australian Idol. Seven.

What advice does Drea have for Australian Idol hopefuls?

Drea believes that it’s important that aspiring contestants have a strong self of self, and that they remain true to their values while competing.

“Be solid in yourself and don’t let anyone sway you if you start to feel something uncomfortable in your body, then say no,” she advised.

“I have a lot of opinions and I say them in a way that reflects how I feel and how I’ve experienced it, but not disregarding other people’s experiences because they’re not going to be the same.”

“My big thing is my experience in life is very different to other people’s, but my experience on the show is very different to other people’s as well. You can’t take everything I say as gospel, there’s always going to be preconceived notions and ideas, but I know who I am and I know what I’m made to do.”

Drea on Australian Idol. Seven.

Drea appreciated the support from the judges

Although Drea didn’t make it to the top six, she shared how it felt to have the support of the Australian Idol judges Amy Shark, Marcia Hines and Kyle Sandilands.

“It’s lovely to know that they can see what I’m doing,” she said.

“I think that was a big thing for me, to me. Not that you need external validation, but when people who are in the industry, and that have been in the industry for so long, can see that what I’m doing is, is it good, it’s really nice.”

“Really ick about the whole production side”: How MAFS producers coax the cast into opening up

A former Married At First Sight bride has revealed the tactics that producers use to encourage the participants to talk about their emotions on camera.

2023 MAFS Bride Alyssa Barmonde said that producers relentlessly ask the cast members to talk about their problems, even when they don’t want to be filmed.

Alyssa referred to Timothy Smith’s experience at the MAFS Couples Retreat, where he broke down about the loss of his parents to his partner Lucinda Light.

Lucinda and Timothy on MAFS. Nine.

Timothy began to break down into tears, and walked out of the bedroom where he was being filmed, saying he couldn’t handle it.

Producers would have had to “coax” Timothy

Alyssa said producers would have had to “coax” Timothy “into being on camera”

“At that point in time you’re just like, ‘I don’t want to be around anyone, I need to get out of the situation, I need to be with my feelings’, and they’re like, ‘Can you get it on camera? I need to get it on camera’,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle’s Behind the Edit podcast.

“That’s the thing that makes me feel really ick about the whole production side of things. He was probably still really in his emotions and he probably wasn’t ready to speak to the producer about what he was going through. So bravo for him to kind of pick up the pieces and do that.”

Alyssa Barmonde on MAFS 2023. Nine.

The reality star added that the producers encourage the participants to believe that speaking about their issues will be beneficial.

“So when you’re having this emotional breakdown, they’re the first ones to run after you like, ‘Are you okay? What’s going on? Do you want to talk about it? It might feel better if you talk about it a little bit. Do you need a break? Do you need some water? Can I get you anything?’,” she shared.

“So they try to, I guess, calm you down before [they say], ‘Do you think you can do just a few minutes just to get your emotions out? I feel like it’s a really important part of your story’. And then in your head, you’re like, ‘Well, I think maybe it is good that I talk about it’.”

Survivor’s Alex reveals Feras’ true intentions: Was Kirby on the chopping block at Tribal Council?

Alex Coe found himself voted off the tribe after forging an alliance with Feras, Raymond, Caroline and Mark.

Heading into Tribal Council, everything looked as though it would go successfully and Kirby would be eliminated. That was before Alex came for members of his supposed alliance at the fire pit.

However, during a post-elimination interview with Chattr, Alex revealed that he doesn’t think Feras ever intended to vote with him.

“Getting back from the immunity challenge and getting back to the beach, I felt like Feras and Ray weren’t with me and then Caroline wouldn’t have voted with us because she knew that they weren’t,” he explained.

“So I sort of knew, heading in [to Tribal], that I was probably going home, so I think I felt a little emotional and frustrated and I went out with guns blazing.”

Alex on Australian Survivor. Ten.

Alex reveals what wasn’t aired

Although it appeared as though Feras was on board for the Kirby vote, Alex said what actually played out on the beach was starkly different.

“The conversations we see on TV, they seem a little different in person,” he said. “I was confident that when he and Ray were talking to me, that they were feeding me when I wanted to hear.”

“Feras wouldn’t vote for Kirby at that point, he needed Kirby, and at this point in the game, he would have been very happy to get out one of the challenge threats. Obviously, I think Rhianna would have been his first pick, but she won the immunity. I could sort of tell [it was me] heading in, and that’s why I did what I did.”

So, how did Alex know that Feras and Raymond weren’t going to turn on Kirby, despite what they said?

“Just the way that they were talking. I’d seen Feras with Kirby so many times leading up to that. And I was just like, ‘Why would he now turn on someone like that when he can use her as a shield moving forward?’ I was not confident that they were with us.”

“I had a holiday fling”: MAFS’ Lauren Dunn sets the record straight about “secret Bali boyfriend”

Rumours are rife about Lauren Dunn having a “secret Bali boyfriend” while married to Jonathan McCullough on Married At First Sight.

Lauren previously admitted to being in Bali right before filming kicked off, and it’s been reported that she met someone who she fell in “love” with.

“She’d apparently told friends this guy in Bali was “perfect” for her, but she was still curious to see what type of man the experts would choose for her,” a source told New Idea.

Lauren in Bali. Instagram.

“Because Lauren had made it onto the show, she felt she may as well make a go of things with whoever she was matched with.'”

The magazine said that Lauren would admit to Jonathan that she was in love with someone else.

“In the beginning, Jono thought he could win Lauren over. But it seems like he had no chance if she was already hung up on somebody on the outside.”

What did Lauren say about the rumours?

Lauren has slammed the rumours, saying that they’re absolutely not true.

“You’ve got to give it to some of these publications, they are very good with their creative writing. It’s just a bit ridiculous. I didn’t have a Bali boyfriend,” she told Daily Mail Australia.

However, she did admit to having a romance in Bali.

“I told Jono at the very beginning of the experiment. We were talking about our past hookups and who we’d been with. I mentioned I had a holiday fling before the show.

Ryan Gosling just slayed so hard at the Oscars that even Margot, Greta and America were fangirling

Ryan Gosling just slayed the Oscars 2024 with a performance never to be forgotten of the nominated banger for Best Song, I’m Just Ken.

Surprising co-star Margot Robbie by sitting in the audience to begin the performance, Ryan then was joined on stage by a truck-load of Kens in black-and-white tuxedos while he wore a bright pink suit. In what can only be described as a homage to Marilyn Monroe in Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend, the performer wowed the audience with a fully-fledged song and dance number.

Along with 1950s Barbie head cut-outs he was held up in the air, before being put down for us only to discover Slash was behind an iconic guitar!

Other highlights included Greta Gerwig, Margot and America Ferrera fangirling the hell out of him, Kate McKinnon’s face and Emma Stone joining in!

“Thank you for having me back and congratulations to each and every one of you for making it to the Academy Awards. And for making it on time. The show, as you know, is starting an hour early this year, but don’t worry, it will still end very, very late. In fact, we’re already five minutes over and I am not joking.”

Jimmy wasted no time in throwing shade at Madame Webb before celebrating the “biggest movie of the year, Barbie”.

While he said that Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie had won something better than an Oscar, the “genetic lottery”, he also told off the crowd — who were the ones who voted — for cheering when he said that people thought Greta Gerwig should have scored a nomination.

“Now Barbie is a feminist icon, thanks to Greta Gerwig, who many believed deserved to be nominated for best director tonight.”

“Hold on a second. I know you’re clapping, but you’re the ones who didn’t vote for her, by the way. Don’t act like you had nothing to do with this.”

Kimmel then poked fun at Robert Downey Jr. saying this was “the highest point” of his “long and illustrious career”; before saying that it wasn’t actually “one of the highest points”, given his previous drug battle.

“I mean, look at this guy,” Kimmel said. “He’s so handsome. He’s so talented. He’s won every award there is to win. Is that an acceptance speech in your pocket? Or do you just have a very rectangular penis?”

Then, he spoke about Downey Jr’s film where he played a villain, where Tim Allen turns into a dog.

“If you ever decide to remake that film, I have just the guy to play Tim Allen,” he said.

He also made reference to all “the great movies that held audiences captive this year”.

” I mean that literally, your movies were too long this year. The average length of the top 10 movies was two hours and 23 minutes. That’s up 30 minutes from three years ago.”

Next, he made a point to reference Robert DeNiro and Jodie Foster who were both nominated for Taxi Driver in 1976 and are now both nominated again.

“In 1976, Jodie Foster was young enough to be Robert De Niro’s daughter. Now she’s 20 years too old to be his girlfriend,” Kimmel joked.

Lily Gladstone was also honoured in the monologue.

“I also want to congratulate Lily Gladstone, who is the first Native American to be nominated for Best Actress,” he said. “Lily was ready to quit acting and take a job at the Department of Agriculture tracking murder hornets, right? And now she’s nominated for an Oscar which is so great for her, but also makes me worried that no one’s tracking these Murder Hornets.”

Finally, Kimmel spoke about the Hollywood Strike, paying homage to the crews as well as the “heavily botoxed, Hailey Bieber smoothing-drinking, diabetic prescription abusing, gluten sensitive nep babies with perpetually shivering chihuahuas”.

Speaking of the crews, he said: “This is a coalition of strong, hard-working mentally tough American labourers. Women and men who would 100% for sure die if we even had to touch the handle of a shovel. The reason we were able to make a deal is because of the people who rallied beside us, so before we celebrate ourselves, let’s have a very well-deserved round of applause for the people who work behind the scenes. The teamsters, the truck drivers the lighting crew [et al]…”

The crews received a standing ovation.

Oscars 2024: See the full list of nominations which include some snubs and surprises

Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things were among the films that received the most nominations for the Oscars 2024, but it was Oppenheimer who led the charge.

Oppenheimer received an impressive 13 noms, while Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon and Barbie scored 11, 10 and eight respectively.

“Insanely brazen”: Plagiarism allegations surface against Oscar-nominated film The Holdovers

The Holdovers has been nominated for five Oscars at today’s ceremony; however, claims of plagiarism have rocked the Academy.

In emails obtained by Variety, Simon Stephenson (who worked on popular family movies Luca and Paddington 2) made the allegations to the Writer’s Guild of America, stating that The Holdovers director Alexander Payne likely read a script for Stephenson’s film Frisco, which circulated Hollywood in 2013.

While the movie was never made, it holds extreme similarities to the popular Paul Giamatti flick with the screenwriter even suggesting it took words “line-by-line”.

“The evidence The Holdovers screenplay has been plagiarised line-by-line from Frisco is genuinely overwhelming – anybody who looks at even the briefest sample pretty much invariably uses the word ‘brazen,’” Stephenson penned in an email which had been sent to the WGA’s director of credits Lesley Mackey.

Frisco and The Holdovers storyline similarities

According to reports, Frisco was a drama that follows a cranky children’s hospital worker who gets stuck watching after his 15-year-old student. Sound familiar? In The Holdovers, Giamatti’s character is a school teacher who spends Christmas with a troubled teen (Dominic Sessa), and the school’s cafeteria manager (Da’Vine Joy Randolph).

According to The NY Post, Stephenson compared the two films, focusing on comparing scene-by-scene, important sequences and dialogue.

“I can demonstrate beyond any possible doubt that the meaningful entirety of the screenplay for a film with WGA-sanctioned credits that is currently on track to win a screenwriting Oscar has been plagiarised line-by-line from a popular unproduced screenplay of mine,” Stephenson wrote to the WGA on February 25.

Paul Giamatti in The Holdovers. Universal Pictures

“I can also show that the director of the offending film was sent and read my screenplay on two separate occasions before the offending film entering development.”

He also claimed that only five parts of The Holdovers were not from his original script — including one scene that ironically involved plagiarism.

“By ‘meaningful entirety’ I do mean literally everything — story, characters, structure, scenes, dialogue, the whole thing. Some of it is just insanely brazen: many of the most important scenes are effectively unaltered and even remain visibly identical in layout on the page.”

Included in the five awards the film is nominated for is Best Screenplay.

Apparently, two Australian Idol contestants are “vibing“, so please don‘t vote them off so we can see where it goes

Australian Idol and romance, are not two words you would put together normally; however, according to host Scott Tweedie, there could be two contestants who are “vibing”!

Taking to Instagram on March 6, Scott revealed he was trying to get us “all the goss” — “the ‘Scott-tea’”, if you will — about who could be dating/involved/have a crush on one another etc, etc!

Making a point to say that the “Executives” would only allow him to use the term “vibing” (it’s a family show after all), the 36-year-old pulled the Top 8 aside; begging them to spill the beans…

“They’re all sitting on some gold, I reckon!” he says.

So…. who is “vibing” on Australian Idol?!

First up, he chats to Trent Richardson, our resident camel farmer, who becomes positively speechless and giggles like a school kid… then RUNS AWAY. This is VERY suspicious… so we’re going to assume he’s (allegedly) involved…

Scott Tweedie and Trent Richardson, Australian Idol. Instagram

Doing God’s work, Scotty then came up with some more serious intel!

Amy Reeves 10000000% knows something because she won’t look at him.

“I’m just minding my business,” she says, before later saying, “I know nothing.”

TJ Zimba just laughs and runs away before Dylan Wright shakes his head and then says “Yes”.

“I’d love to put some people under the bus and make some drama… Ivana and BLEEP,” he says…and IVANA AND BLEEEP! Well, well, well…

Dylan Wright and Scott, Australian Idol. Instagram

Meanwhile, Isaac just tells him exactly who it is (LOL), but it’s bleeped so we can’t hear…sad face and when Scott speaks to Ivana, she just rambles in a very wholesome and endearing way…

Basically, if she and Trent are not the ones allegedly “vibing”… we’ll be very disappointed!

Where can you watch this fun lil’ video?

Watch the cuteness unfold below!

And check out Scott’s Instagram here and the official Australian Idol one here.

Australian Idol continues at 7.00pm on Sundays and Mondays and Tuesdays at 7.30 pm on Channel 7 and 7plus.
