Married at First Sight’sLauren Dunn has opened up about her feelings towards the love triangle involving Ellie Dix and Jono McCullough.
During the Commitment Ceremony that aired on Sunday, March 24, Tori Adams revealed that Jonathan had been messaging former MAFS bride Ellie behind his wife’s back, and Lauren was left shocked.
However, rather than being bitter about Jonathan’s recoupling, Lauren said that she was backing the budding relationship.
“I could not be happier for Jono. Me and him were forced to be together, we didn’t choose each other, and we gave it our absolute all,” Lauren told Daily Mail Australia.
“Honestly I could not be happier that they found love because Jono and I weren’t in love.”
“We didn’t have that and they are great together. I couldn’t [root for] them harder, to be honest.”
It’s since been revealed that Jonathan and Ellie are dating post-show.
Lauren on being intimate with Jonathan while he was messaging Ellie
Throughout the experiment, Jono and Lauren have had their ups and downs, but they reconnected during Home Stays and were intimate.
“It was difficult because we’d have a really good week, a really shitty week, and it would take us to point one,” she explained.
It was just days later that Lauren found out about Jono and Ellie’s secret messages, which started before Home Stays.
“We did have a really good homestay and we were obviously intimate and so it put a spanner in the works and made this situation a little bit harder for me to swallow than if we had have just been in a consistently bad spot,” she reflected.
Lauren doesn’t think that her relationship with Jonathan would have worked out anyway
Lauren told the publication that she doesn’t think that she and Jonathan would have survived as a couple, regardless of whether he was messaging Ellie or not.
“I don’t think things would have been any better if that didn’t come out, because we were talking about a few weekends we’d had, and it’d been consistently good for us, and that’s just not gonna last in the real world,” she shared.
During the Commitment Ceremony segment where Lauren found out about the messages, she looked devastated. However, the 32-year-old clarified that the situation triggered insecurities for her.
“It just triggered like old things that have happened in the past. So I was really emotional about it,” she said.
Looking back, Lauren has no regrets about how anything played out on MAFS.
“It’s surreal to watch it all back… I’m really at peace, and I am really happy, I’m genuinely happy for all the couples that have found love and really good friendships. I’m so thankful and happy that I did this experiment.”

Candice Warner has dropped a bombshell about David Warner’s cricket career while appearing on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2024.
Speaking to Michelle Bridges, Skye Wheatley, Ellie Cole and Peter Daicos, the former Ironwoman revealed how her husband had been “burned by his teammates” throughout his tenure.
“He’s always had these people who’ve had a misconception of him,” Candice told the group. “But when you actually get to know him, he’s the most kindest, generous person. I think he would have been better off playing in a different era.”

Ellie then questioned whether Candice meant “without as much media attention”; however, Candice went on to clarify.
“Well, in an era where people aren’t as selfish,” she said. “Where it’s more about other players protecting the players.”
“Oh my gosh, are you saying that’s how he’s been burned? By his teammates?” Skye asked.
“At times 100%,” Candice said. “But it’s not just them. It’s the administration.”
The mother-of-three then revealed that the “administration” “didn’t want him” because he’s “different”.
“He doesn’t typically fit the mould of a cricket player,” she said.

Peter was in disbelief calling it “silly”, particularly when “that is what made him the player he is”.
“They love that until it doesn’t suit their brand,” she said.
In a piece-to-camera in the Hut, Candice said: “There’s been plenty of people that have burnt myself and David along the way and it happens to so many people, and it wouldn’t be right for me to name them individually, but those people know who they are.”

Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars Australia 2024 delivered the A-List goods when contestant PiaHambour of Bodega Deli in Victoria called Madonna during her pitch.
During the March 26 launch of the brand-new Channel 9 series, the 35-year-old revealed that she was Madge’s personal chef, prompting her to call the icon and leaving Gordon Ramsay and Janine Allis in shock.
“Are you a chef?” Gordon asked Pia, who responded: “Well, I’m private cheffing at the moment…for Madonna.”

In disbelief, Gordon asked her: “So, I can check in with her later on a reference…?” before Pia said she could call her, before “M” (lol) picked up.
“Pia, what the hell?!” her Madgesty said, joking that she hadn’t “eaten since you left”!
“I’ve got Gordon here, he doesn’t believe me,” Pia told her, to which Madonna said: “Gordon, I want my chef back!”
“She lied to me, she told me she was going to visit family. And now she’s gone on a TV show!”

Gordon then tried to smooth things over by asking Madonna how her family were, ya know, normal convo you’d have with her…
“We’re all very hungry!” she said and HA!!

Explaining that Pia could be the “first Australian Food Star”, Gordon then asked Madonna if she would support Pia on this journey.
Madonna declined, not wanting to give her up.
“A good chef is hard to find,” she said, before saying “Hell yeh!” to providing a reference and admitting that she and her family missed Pia “terribly”.
“I hope you lose,” Madonna yelled through the phone before adding a final: “F**K YOU, PIA!”
Whatever was happening… more of this!
About Pia and Bodega Deli
Apart from being Madonna’s private chef, Pia is an entrepreneur who has made a name for herself in food and hospitality.
Born in Adelaide and raised in Melbourne, Pia moved to New York City to work at Mission Chinese, where she got a job as a sous chef within two months, before spending several years working in well-known eateries, including Roberta’s Pizza in Brooklyn.
During the global pandemic, Pia returned to Australia where she completed an apprenticeship at Movida Next Door.

Although Married At First Sight is still playing out on screens, it finished filming last year, and one of the MAFS participants has been spotted looking for love on a dating app.
**WARNING: This article contains potential spoilers for MAFS 2024.**
Sara Mesa, who’s partnered with Tim Calwell on the reality show, has been spotted on the dating app Hinge.
Daily Mail Australia has published screenshots of the account (which you can see here), and claims that “the profile appears to have been recently created.”

Tim and Sara’s rollercoaster relationship
Tim and Sara’s first impression of each other at the wedding was positive, however, things rapidly went downhill after.
On the honeymoon, Sara snapped at Tim after he asked her to “calm down” about some tequila she didn’t like. Things hit the fan again when Sara refused to show her phone to Tim during Confessions Week.
But, the couple’s biggest ~*drama*~ happened when fellow participants Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud revealed that Sara secretly met up with her ex-boyfriend behind Tim’s back.

While Sara vehemently denied hooking up with her ex during the rendezvous, Tim found it hard to believe her.

“That guy, they broke up, but she told me she slept with her ex a month before the experiment”.

It’s well known that celebrities generally charge a lot of dollary doos for their time, and the leaked I’m A Celebrity Australia cast salaries shine a light on just how much.
During a segment on The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick, the host speculated how much 2024 contestant Frankie Muniz was paid to appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Australia 2024.
Then, co-host Brendan Fevola, who won the second season, revealed the huge amount he received to take part.
Brendan Fevola on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here. Ten.
“In 2015, I got paid $250,000 upfront. And then $5,000 every show after the [first] two weeks. So, you’d lay there on a Sunday, and you’d hope there’s not another eviction, so you get another 7 days and there’s another $35,000,” he said.
“Every time I’d lay on the bed I’d think, ‘Oh God, there’s another five grand…’, because I was broke.”
It’s famously known that Shane Warne received the biggest salary out of any contestant to be on the show, and Fevola, who starred in the same season, revealed exactly what that was.
“Just over two million [dollars]. He had a clause [in his contract[ that if he left, he didn’t get anything. So, he had to stay in – and there was one time where he was like, ‘man, I’m done,’ and I would go, ‘man, 2.2 million (dollars), don’t leave!’”

What about the charities?
I’m A Celebrity must cost a helluva a lot to make, because it’s not just the contestants who receive a chunk of money.
Each contestant picks a charity close to their heart prior to heading into the jungle, and if they win the show, their charity receives $100,000.
Dylan Wright was named the winner of Australian Idol 2024 during the season’s Grand Finale on March 25, but he wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t for his wife Georgia.
Beating out Amy Reeves (runner-up) and Denvah Baker-Moller(second runner-up), the 30-year-old from the Northern Rivers was speechless.
“I don’t think it’s going to sink in for a month or two,” Dylan told Chattr after his epic win.
“I was so shocked. Just completely shocked. I just remember seeing confetti and looking at my family and being like, ‘What is happening?'”

Before auditioning for Idol, Dylan was ready to give up his dream; however, thanks to support from his high-school sweetheart, he decided to “give it a go”.
“There had been moments where I’ve wanted to and Georgia said, ‘What are you doing? You’re an idiot?'” he recalled.
“I was just playing at empty bars, and playing when you think no one’s listening. It was draining. So, I thought why not just give it a go on this show that I have watched as a kid and see what I can learn because you can never stop learning.”

Now Dylan has a recording contract with industry giant Sony Music Entertainment Australia and is $100k richer. And while his new single Paper Heart has dropped, he’s putting his career on hold for a little longer.
“The first thing we’re going to do is have a holiday or go camping as a family. Turn the phones off and just enjoy our time together,” he said, before speaking of his earnings: “It’s going all into my career and writing and recording. It will go so far.”
Of course, investing in his own future means investing in the future of his girls, Piper, four and Rivi, one — whom he reveals, have been “so good” throughout the process.
“It’s just so surreal,” he said. “They’ve got no idea what’s happening at all. But they’ve been so good about being dragged from the hotel room to being in the car and going to grandma’s.
“They’ve just been the best. I couldn’t have asked for better girls in my life.”

For Dylan, having “support” from his entire family “has been incredible” and it has made him realise that a future in the industry — and potentially a life on the road — is not impossible.
“It’s been a big learning curve but I think the juggle is beginning to be doable,” he said.
Meanwhile, the former painter who grew up in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney has learned a lot from his Australian Idol experience.
“Patience, resilience and all the cliche things,” he said. “It has been incredible and I didn’t think it would be as incredible as it has been.

Abbie told listeners that, unlike her last relationship with Konrad Bien-Stephen, she and her new man are in a monogamous relationship. However, she did suggest that they may eventually transition into an open relationship.
“I am really not in a position to be in an open relationship right now because of how traumatised my brain is… I need to feel fully focused on. I was really scared to tell him because I was thinking he would want to be open, and open only. I think monogamy is going to happen until, like, a few more months.”
Who is Abbie Chatfields new boyfriend?
The TV personality has kept the identity of her new boyfriend under wraps, but she has revealed that he’s “so hot” and “emotionally intelligent.”
“He’s so sexy. He’s so funny. He’s like an electric person to be around,” she added.
Abbie teased that she has “known him for a couple of years.”
The 28-year-old continued to gush about her new man in the podcast.
“He’s made me feel like myself again. He’s reminded me of who I am,” she said. “He makes me so much happier and more calm in every aspect of the world.”

When was Abbie’s last relationship?
Abbie’s last public relationship was with The Bachelorette star Konrad. The couple dated for ten months and were very candid about their open relationship.
“So obviously being open means we can sleep with other people… the whole point. Unfortunately, I’m not doing the second part. So I’m being monogamous,” Chatfield said on her radio show in June 2022.
She added, “I wanted to and I still want to, but the issue is Konrad is the only one that seems to be able to get laid around here.”
“I’m upset because he’s now slept with two people and I’m happy for him obviously. But I’m also like, when will it be the Chatfield’s turn? I have no prospects in sight.”
Abbie and Konrad confirmed in September 2022 that she and Konrad split “months ago”.

Skye Wheatley is the Big Brother contestant turned mega influencer who’s entered the jungle for I’m A Celebrity Australia.
Skye’s sunny demeanour and obvious lack of filter are almost guaranteed to be a compelling addition to this year’s camp.
So, who exactly is Skye Wheatley?
Skye on Big Brother Australia
Skye starred on Big Brother way back in 2014, and she was considered a fan favourite from the season. The then barista placed in third place, behind winner Ryan Ginns and runner-up Travis Lunardi.
The then 20-year-old was well-liked by her fellow housemates and was only nominated once in week ten alongside David Hodis and Lina Grant.
At the time, she was the youngest contestant to ever appear on the franchise.
Skye’s family
Skye has been with her partner Lachlan Waugh for over six years and the pair shared two sons; Forest and Bear.
Forest was born on Christmas Eve in 2018 and Bear was born in 2021.

After months of auditions and performances, the winner of Australian Idol 2024 is about to be unveiled live on air.
While the live factor means that there’s no way of knowing who actually wins, betting odds have given a clear indication of who the public thinks will take out the competition this year.
Broome’s Amy Reeves has blown the judges and audience away week after week with her impressive performances, and she’s been tipped as the most likely to win.
Amy Reeves on Australian Idol. Seven.
Sportsbet’s current odds have Denvah Baker-Moller and Dylan Wright in third.
Check out the current Sportsbet odds:
Amy Reeves $1.83
Denvah Baker-Moller $3.00
Dylan Wright $3.50
How do betting odds work?
Betting odds are tied to dollar amounts, and those with lower odds are recognised as more likely to win, hence the lower return. For example, if someone bet $1 on Amy and she won, they’d receive the amount she’s listed at, which is $1.83.
The return is multiple. based on how much someone bets, so if they bet $10.00 on her, they’d receive $18.30. If they bet $100, they’d receive $183, and so on.
Amy Reeves, Denvah Baker-Moller and Dylan Wright on Australian Idol. Instagram.
Do betting odds correctly guess the winner?
Technically, no. It’s illegal for anyone to bet with insider information, so the betting odds are just an indication of who the public thinks is more likely to win. However, the odds are skewed to represent how much money a contestant has bet on them. That means that the contestant with the lowest odds has the most amount of money bet on them.
In the past, betting odds have been fairly on the money when representing who will win a reality TV show. For example, Feras Basal had the lowest odds of winning Australian Survivor 2024 with a return of just $1.23, and he took out the win.

Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo’sMarried At First Sight relationship has been going swimmingly, and they’ve already revealed their plans to have kids in the near future.
“I never thought I’d be able to love someone’s child like my own. But meeting Vee, that’s changed. I love Vee. I see her as my own even though I know she’s not, which is a shock to me. I never thought I’d get to that stage,” Ridge said in an interview with New Idea.

Jade added, “I feel like it’s such a huge ask for someone who doesn’t have kids to take on a partner and another child, so I did really appreciate that… It’s always a really tough situation.
“A lot of people may say yes in the moment and say that’s fine, but then once they meet [the] child, they might feel differently towards the situation.”
Jade and Ridge reveal their baby plans
Although Jade and Ridge have only been dating for a few months, they’re already making plans to make some babies together, saying they’d like “boy and girl twins”.
However, Jade told the publication that she wants to be engaged to Ridge before they expand their family.
“I’d also like to do a little bit of travel together and I’ll definitely be waiting for another ring before we have any kiddies,” Jade reveals. “The show doesn’t count. I’d like a proper engagement, instead of me just being handed to him!”
And, Ridge is totally on board with the idea.
“I don’t do anything half-arsed,” he said. “When I’m in it I’m really in it. This is the first time I’ve been in love, so I don’t plan on us going anywhere but forward together.
“More kids and then we can live happily ever after with Vee and our three dogs Rufus, Fendi and Evie!”

“The experiment turned out to be a lot better than I expected,” Jade said. “I had never watched the show. I googled the success rates the night before I flew out and they weren’t great, so I was very nervous.”
Ridge added: “I didn’t think an experiment like this could work, but I ended up falling in love. It was a happy accident.”
“My favourite thing about Jade is how strong she is. It’s one of the sexiest things about her. She’s been through a lot and I admire every fibre of her being.”

Married at First Sight’s Timothy Smith has weighed in on the love triangle between Lauren Dunn, Ellie Dix and Jonathan McCullough, and picked a side.
During an interview on Hit’s Bronte & Lakey for Breakfast, the former MAFS groom said he wanted to defend his “good buddy Jono”.
“I’m going to give a little bit of tea,” he added. “I’ve read all those messages he didn’t delete any of those messages.”
He added that it was common for the MAFS participants who had left the experiment to contact those who were still filming.
“In all respect, he called me, I called Ellie, I called Stephen [Stewart],” Tim explained. “When people go on the show they still want to stay in touch. You went through all this trauma together, and that’s how you bonded so I’m going to defend it a little bit.”

If you watched Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101, iCarly, Drake & Josh and The Amanda Show, you undoubtedly grew up in the early 2000s — but what you may not know is that one man, Dan Schneider, created them all and is now the subject of the docu-series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV.
**CONTENT WARNING: This article references sexual harassment and/or assault and may be triggering to some readers.**
The new doco details allegations of toxic and alleged predatory behaviour on set, including “abuse, sexism, racism, and inappropriate dynamics with its underage stars and crew.”
While the series is yet to be released in Australia (it will be available on Binge from April 5 with a double episode and will continue on April 6 with the final two episodes), at the time of publication, it has already premiered in the US, with some explosive revelations.

iCarly star Jennette McCurdy’s memoir inspired the docuseries
Directors Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz revealed that iCarly and Sam & Cat star, Jeannette McCurdy’s memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, inspired them to look further after the book detailed a series of troubling on-set occurrences.
In addition to this, Business Insider’sKate Taylor had also investigated the claims while concerned audiences had created YouTube compilations highlighting inappropriate behaviours from Schneider’s television productions.
“In many of these clips, there was behaviour that arguably could be characterised as quite sexual in nature and featured children,” Robertson said.
“Some of these clips included Ariana Grande leaning off the side of the bed, pouring water on her chest and her face in a manner that is arguably sexual. Jamie Lynn Spears, who was then a teenager, a young teenager, receiving a squirt of this viscous substance sort of glue like on her face. Or Ariana Grande, squeezing a potato in a manner that many felt was quite sexual.”

Amanda Bynes was the “favourite”
Amanda Bynes was discovered at the Comedy Factory doing a kid’s comedy routine when Schneider discovered her.
Given he thought she would be a big star, he spent more and more time with her. It was also alleged that Amanda’s father allowed this to happen as they were crafting her career.
“It was her big break and it was Dan Schneider’s big break, and it was the first time Dan Schneider’s name was listed as a creator. This gave him a whole new level of control and power and there would be consequences to that later on.”

The directors reached out to hundreds of people and many were eager to talk
“We had spreadsheets with hundreds of names on them,” Schwartz said during the documentary.
“We reached out to as many people as possible, many of whom, even if they weren’t ready to speak, were really excited that somebody was actually going to take this seriously. They’ve seen attempts before that had never really landed.”
Production assistant John Handy’s conviction
In 2004, former Nickelodeon production assistant, John Handy, pleaded no contest to two felony counts, including lewd acts on a child and distributing sexually explicit material.
He was only given six years in prison, before being arrested again in 2014 on charges including indecent liberties with a child and sex offender registry violations.
It was also revealed that he sent an explicit image of himself to an 11-year-old named Brandi on The Amanda Show.
Her mother MJ said: “I said, ‘Brandi, what is wrong?’ She started to cry and she said, ‘I got an email from Jason.’ It was a picture of him naked, masturbating. He said he sent to her because he wanted her to see he was thinking of her.”

Drake Bell opened up about the sexual abuse he experienced
Drake & Josh’sDrake Bell featured in the documentary, opening up for the first time about the sexual abuse he experienced at the hands of dialogue coach Brian Peck (whom is no relation to Bell’s co-star Josh Peck).
Peck worked closely with Schneider until he was convicted of child abuse in 2004, where served only 16 months in prison and was made to join the sex offender registry.
“The abuse was extensive and it got pretty brutal …why don’t you think of the worst stuff that someone can do to somebody as a sexual assault, and that will answer the question,” Bell revealed.
In 2006, following his prison sentence, Peck was once again hired to work on children’s television, now working for Disney on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
Gender discrimination and a hostile work environment
Christy Stratton and Jenny Kilgen were the only female writers working on Schneider’s The Amanda Show.
According to the former staffers, they were made to split a single salary and alleged that Schneider would show his employees pornography and verbally abuse staff.
After reporting the conditions to the writers guild, Kilgen claimed that Schneider threatened her.
At the end of the first season, Stratton was fired and Kilgen tendered her resignation a few days into the second one due to Schneider allegedly accusing her of being a sex worker.
Kilgen then sued the production company for gender discrimination; however, Schneider continued his tenure for another 18 years.
