Being an Islander isn’t just about frolicking around a Spanish villa in a bikini. There are actually a lot of logistics that come into play behind the scenes, as Love Island Australia 2024’sMimi Parahiniexplained in an interview with Chattr.
When the Islanders aren’t busy dating their castmates in pursuit of true love, they need to worry about normie things, like eating and time—which isn’t as straightforward in the villa as one may think.
Mimi answered a bunch of questions about what the cast has to take into account while in the villa. Read on to find out how things work behind the scenes on Love Island Australia 2024.
What do the Islanders eat?
Any Love Island Australia fan will know that the Islanders are big on avocado toast paired with coffee for breakie. But what about the rest of the day?
Mimi told Chattr that the cast was supplied with a big spread of food every day — they just aren’t filmed eating it.
“The food was amazing. So blessed, so grateful. Honestly, because that was something that I heard, that the food was really bad,” she explained.
“We didn’t have to cook. I didn’t have to lay a finger on the cleaning or the cooking. The food was unreal. It was fresh salads and fresh fruits. We had steak, nachos and chicken schnitzels.
“I had to be very mindful because I still needed to wear a bikini every day,” she laughed.
Was there anywhere in the Love Island villa with no cameras?
The premise of Love Island is for viewers to have an all-access pass to watch the cast (hopefully!) fall in love while sharing a house together. So, was absolutely everything filmed?
Mimi told Chattr the only time they didn’t have a camera on them (apart from their days off, more on that below) was when they were showering.
“There were even cameras in the bathroom; I would get poo shy,” she said.
How do the Love Island Australia cast know what to pack?
Packing outfits to parade around on national TV is no small feat — especially when the Islanders have no clue whether they’ll be sent packing on episode one or make it all the way to the finale.
Mimi said that production gave her a “really basic list” of things to bring, but she still struggled to pick.
“It was so hard,” she said. “[Producers said to pack] 20 night outfits and 20 day outfits.”
“However, I wanted to make sure that every outfit that I wore ate and truly showed who I was. So, for every outfit that I ordered, I would put a photo together on a little mood board so that I knew exactly what I was packing.”
Although the maximum amount of weight most international flights will allow is 40kgs, Mimi managed to smuggle a little extra onto the plane.
“My suitcase weighed 50 kilos,” she explained. “I was only allowed 23 kilos to check in, and I put 25 kilos in my carry-on and pretended it was super lightweight.
“If they pulled me out on it, I was preparing to get changed into all of the clothes at the airport.”
Who was the best at screaming ‘I’ve got a text’?
Mimi didn’t hesitate before sharing that it was “absolutely” herself.
Do the Islanders know what time it is?
While in the villa, the Islanders aren’t even allowed to know what time it is.
“The only way I could tell was when it was lunchtime and by the sun,” she said.
“I just know some days we would go to bed at about 5am, and others it was midnight.
“I really struggled some mornings because I was always just lying in bed waiting for the lights to turn on, and others I wanted to go to sleep, and I wasn’t allowed.”
How much alcohol can the Love Island cast drink?
While Mimi said that all of the Love Island Australia 2024 cast could have “fun with or without alcohol”, ex Islander Callum Hole went into more detail about how much they were allowed.
“Love Island, your maximum drink allowance is two drinks a night,” he told Chattr in an interview.
“If you get to the final, they allow you to have maybe three [drinks],” he added.
“We did have a couple of down days. It was a very, very busy season because of how much drama and content we had. We were pretty great,” she laughed.
“We had a couple of days where we had no cameras, girls and guys separated, just to relax and sleep and get our sanity back before we’re back on to drama.”
Stream Love Island Australia Mondays to Thursdays on Channel 9 and 9Now.
With production on Married At First Sight 2025 (MAFS) underway, it was only a matter of time before the cast started leaking to the public.
And, leak they did! Although the MAFS 2025 cast hasn’t officially been released yet, we’ve been blessed with tidbits that have confirmed almost every upcoming Bride and Groom.

Who has been leaked for the MAFS 2025 cast?
MAFS 2025 brides
Ashleigh Ackerman
Ashleigh Ackerman is one of the few upcoming MAFS contestants whose social media has yet to be uncovered. Could she be looking for true love rather than a blue tick on Instagram?!
Jacqueline Burfoot
According to her LinkedIn page, Jacqueline Burfoot is quite the smart cookie. Between the years of 2019 and 2025, she worked as a lawyer and investment analyst.
A source told the Instagram account MAFS Uncensored that Awhina is “a mum who loves to cook and bake and host her own dinner parties, enjoys nights out and doing make-up”.
In addition to being a content creator, Carina is also an actor who has appeared in a few TV commercials and a feature film called Titan.
According to Carina’s Now Actors profile, she’s completed a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and has lived and studied in the United States and London.
Account manager Jamie Marinos is another MAFS 2025 bride.
Pics published byDaily Mail Australia show Jamie tying the knot with Dave Hand. The pair got married at Sydney’s Carriageworks, the same place Tahnee Cookand Ollie Skelton and Brent Vitiello and Tamara Djordjevic all had their MAFS weddings.
Morena Farinais a wedding MC. She also works as a a DJ, is in her mid-40s and is a mum. An insider told Chattr that she will be the oldest bride on MAFS 2025.
Sierah Swepstone was announced as a bride by Daily Mail Australia in late July after she was spotted on set and filming her backstory in Melbourne.
Sierah was a contestant of Jimmy Nicholson‘s season of The Bachelor in 2021. He wound up choosing Holly Kingston for his final rose. (The pair are now married with a baby.)
There’s not too much information floating around 52 year oldTony Mojanovski just yet. However, from his Instagram we know that he’s from Wollongong and he really loves fishing (like, REALLY loves it).
Daily Mail Australia confirmed AdrianAraouzou as one of the MAFS 2025 grooms. An insider told the publication that he is tipped to be one of the standout cast members this season.
The publication reported that he’s an actor, and a photo on his now-deactivated Star Now account shows him wearing a police uniform for a role on a TV series.
A friend of the groom described him to the publication as a “super nice guy” who is “tired of all the dating apps”.
Turns out he has reality TV connections to Beauty and the Geek‘s Troy Thompson, The Bachelor‘s Kiki Morris and Australia’s Next Top Model‘s Simone Holtznagel, as they’re all following him on Instagram.
The publication revealed that Billy is 31, from England, a plasterer and was added to the MAFS bucks party at the last minute to make the whole experiment a bit more exciting.
Jake Luik works as a wellbeing coordinator for Year 9 students at Southern River College, a public high school in Gosnells, Western Australia. He was papped at his TV wedding by Daily Mail Australia.
Jeff Gobbels
MAFS 2025 groom Jeff Gobbels found himself in a very peculiar situation when he released he already knew his TV bride, Rhi Disljenkovic.
Paul Antoine was the very first MAFS Season 12 groom to be announced by Daily Mail Australia. And guess what? It turns out he’s already been on reality TV before.
Just two years ago, Paul was one of 21 contestants who tried to find love on Channel Ten’s The Real Love Boat Australia.
According to The Daily Mail, Martha was offered $80,000 to appear on I’m a Celeb but turned down the gig after consulting with her management team.
Martha said no to the jungle due to the way she predicted she would be portrayed on the show.
“My manager told me, ‘They’re just going to pick on you. You’ll be the ‘beauty girl’ under a magnifying glass’,” Martha explained to The Daily Mail.
Martha was also reportedly offered “flexible terms” to star on I’m a Celebrity, including the ability to skip out on tasks she didn’t like or eat anything she didn’t want to.
“She’s always been at the top of their wishlist, but she’s cautious about how it might affect her image,” an insider told The Daily Mail.
MAFS Martha’s reality show history
Martha appeared on MAFS during season six, where she met her now fiancé, Michael Brunelli. They have a very cute 1-year-old son, Lucius.
She was also offered a stint on Big Brother in 2022, but she also turned that down, according to The Daily Mail. However, her mum, Mary Kalifatidis, appeared on Big Brother Australia 13.
I’m A Celebrity 2025 will be premiering January 19 and will feature ten celebrities. All the clues about the upcoming cast can be found here.
Fans of HBO’s hit series Euphoria have been eagerly awaiting news on when their favourite teen drama will return for Season 3.
With major delays sparking speculation about the show’s future, the long-awaited Season 3 is finally on the horizon.
Luckily, now we have some deets!
When is Euphoria Season 3 premiering?
According to Variety, Warner Bros. Discovery’s global streaming chief, JB Perrette, confirmed at a Wells Fargo tech and media conference that Season 3 is set to debut… in 2026.
The show also confirmed on Instagram that production will kick off in January 2025.
Euphoria premiered on HBO in 2019 with a star-studded cast including Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Maude Apatow, Storm Reid, and Colman Domingo. Its second season finished in February 2022.
In March 2024, HBO announced a temporary pause in filming for Season 3. In a statement to Variety, the network reassured fans: “HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”
Adding to the delay, HBO and Max content chairman Casey Bloys shared that show creator Sam had been wrestling with the series’ direction.
“There’s been a lot of back and forth,” Casey explained in a June 2024 interview with Variety.
“One of the issues I think that Sam is thinking about is that he doesn’t want to have it in high school anymore. That’s where it was set and what made sense then.
“But I think he’s got a take that he’s excited about, and he’s busy writing.”
Which cast members are returning for Euphoria Season 3?
The core cast is expected to return, with Casey confirming that the main stars, including Zendaya, Jacob, Hunter and Sydney will reprise their roles.
Tragically, the character Fezco is not expected to appear in Euphoria Season 3 following the heartbreaking death of star Angus Cloud, who overdosed in July 2023 at age 25.
Additionally, Barbie Ferreira, who played Kat, will not return after a “mutual” decision to part ways.
Speaking on the Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard podcast, Barbie explained: “I think my character, who I love dearly, didn’t have a place to go in the story.”
Where can I watch Euphoria Season 3 in Australia?
The first two seasons of Euphoria are available to stream on Binge, and Season 3 will be added to the platform once it (finally!) airs.
You can stream the first two seasons of Euphoria on Binge.
The MAFS 2025 cast leaks are coming thick and fast, and fans are growing more eager for the drama-packed season. One bride who’s set to stand out is pocket-rocket Melbourne influencer Jamie Marinos.
Friends of Jamie aren’t shy about singing her praises. “I have nothing bad to say about her,” one of Jamie’s friends dished to Daily Mail.
“She’s the best chick out. One of a kind and is such a laugh – always up for a good time!”
“She protects those she loves – will always have so much love for her,” the friend continued.
Another added, “What you see is what you get. She’s genuine.”
Honestly, she’s sounding pretty great so far.
Jamie has a past with MAFS groom Teejay Halkias
The MAFS drama is getting started early apparently, as Jamie is reportedly familiar with one of the upcoming season’s grooms, Teejay Halkias.
According to Daily Mail, one of the season’s most jaw-dropping moments will be when Jamie casually confesses to a past fling with Teejay right in front of his bride-to-be, Beth Kelly!
There’s tension brewing between MAFS brides Jamie Marinos and Awhina Rutene
There’s already talk of simmering tensions on the MAFS set between Jamie and fellow bride Awhina Rutene.
Rumours are that the two will be at the centre of some of the season’s most dramatic moments.
Who is Jamie Marinos matched with on MAFS?
Jamie’s TV groom is “TikTok tradie” Dave Thomas Hand, a 36-year-old caulking business owner.
The towering 6.6-foot Dave is an influencer in his own right, with nearly 30,000 followers tuning in to watch his caulking content on TikTok.
Leaked photos show the pair tying the TV knot at Sydney’s Carriageworks, but based on the MAFS 2025 teaser aired at Channel 9’s annual Upfronts, their relationship might have a rocky start.
The next star-studded season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia 2025 is set to premiere on Sunday 19 January, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Channel 10 has officially confirmed Robert Irwin and Julia Morris are returning as hosts, ready to bring the jungle to our TV screens.
The season will mark 10 years of the iconic show in Australia.
To celebrate all the drama and excitement I’m a Celeb has brought us over the past decade, we’ve put together a list of every winner since the show started Down Under and where they are today.
I’m a Celebrity Season 1 winner: Freddie Flintoff
UK cricket star Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff was crowned the first King of the Jungle in Australia’s inaugural season in 2015. Four years later, Freddie admitted in an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live podcast that he “cheated” his way to the win by lying to producers, claiming he left the camp several times a day for fresh water. Naughty!
In 2022, Freddie horrified fans when he sustained serious injuries, including broken ribs, after a crash while filming Top Gear.
Some footage of the aftermath was featured in his reality series Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams, where he returned to his hometown of Preston to form a cricket team with local teens. The show’s second season premiered in August 2024.
Most recently, Freddie announced a Disney+ Original documentary that will reflect on his sporting career and how his life has changed since that fateful day on the test track in Dunsfold Aerodrome.
I’m a Celebrity Season 2 winner: Brendan Fevola
Radio presenter and former Aussie rules footballer Brendan Fevola won the second season in 2016.
Since his days in the jungle, Fev has become known for spilling secrets about upcoming seasons, including teasing names for the 2025 cast. He’s also revealed behind-the-scenes production secrets, such as his jaw-dropping appearance fee.
Fev currently co-hosts the breakfast radio show Fifi, Fev & Nick alongside co-hosts Fifi Box and Nick Cody. He recently embarked on a health journey, shedding 30 kilos in 12 months, and has been named as a Keto Australia ambassador.
This year, the footy legend earned a spot in the 2024 Guinness World Records for the highest-altitude catch of an American football, an impressive 221.89 meters.
According to Daily Mail Australia, he’s also dropped hints about stepping back onto the field, this time as a coach.
I’m a Celebrity Season 3 winner: Casey Donovan
Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan was crowned the first Queen of the Jungle in 2017.
That same year, she released her first single in seven years, Lonely. She has since appeared on Dancing with the Stars, The Voice Australia, and How to Stay Married.
In 2020, Casey released her autobiography Big, Beautiful & Sexy alongside an album of original music. She later was announced as host of The Space Podcast, focusing on mental health and mindfulness.
She’s also been busy treading the theatre boards, with credits including starring roles in Chicago, 9 to 5, & Juliet, and Sister Act.
As for her personal life, in 2018 Casey began a secret long-distance, over-the-phone relationship with a man named Campbell. But six years later, she found out she had been catfished by her “friend” Olga.
Luckily, the story has a happy ending: Casey got engaged this year to her partner, Renee Sharples. Congratulations, Casey!
I’m a Celebrity Season 4 winner: Fiona O’Loughlin
Aussie comedian Fiona O’Loughlin took home the crown in 2018. Since then, she has appeared in the comedy film That’s Not My Dog!, as a guest quizmaster on Have You Been Paying Attention?, and as a guest on Riley Dyson’s Aussies with Stories! podcast.
Fiona remains busy with comedy, keynote speaking, and writing.
In 2021, she released her memoir Truths from an Unreliable Witness, where she candidly shared her experiences with alcoholism, homelessness, love and loss.
Entertainment reporter Richard Reid became the first American King of the Jungle in 2019.
Before the jungle Richard was best known as the gossip guru from Nine’s brekkie program Today and his appearance on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia in 2015. He was a regular contributor to Channel 10’s morning program Studio 10, before the show was axed in 2023.
He remains an active member of the entertainment world, working as a freelance TV presenter and ambassador for non-alcoholic spirit brand Lyre’s.
Beloved chef Miguel Maestre won the crown in 2020.
Already a familiar face from 10’s The Living Room and other cooking shows like Miguel’s Tropical Kitchen and Miguel’s Feasts, this was the saucy Spaniard’s second foray in reality TV.
In 2019 he featured in Dancing With The Stars (although he was the first to be eliminated).
Miguel continues to be a staple on Aussie TV. Earlier this year, he was named host of the rebooted Ready Steady Cook.
Beyond the silver screen, Miguel runs his gourmet, Spanish-inspired supermarket line, Miguel Maestre Enterprises.
I’m a Celebrity Season 7 winner: Abbie Chatfield
Hot off her start in Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor and later Bachelor in Paradise Season 3, Abbie Chatfield entered the I’m a Celebrity jungle in 2021 and emerged victorious as Queen.
Since her win, Abbie’s unfiltered personality has made her one of the most sought-after figures in Aussie media.
In 2023, Abbie joined the panel of The Masked Singer, though the show was sadly axed for 2024. Luckily for Abbie, she went on to land the role of host for the Australian spinoff of FBoy Island.
That same year, Abbie announced her departure from her radio show, Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield, to dedicate more time to her hit podcast, It’s A Lot, and other exciting TV projects.
Abbie also hit the stage this year, bringing her Trauma Dump Tour live show to audiences across regional Australia.
Beyond her media career, Abbie has launched several collections in collaboration with adult toy brand Normal.
Netball remains a big part of Liz’s life, with her recent appointment as Chair of the Netball Australia Board.
I’m a Celebrity Season 10 winner: Skye Wheatley
Fans first got to know Skye Wheatley on Big Brother back in 2014, where she finished in third place. The mega influencer found her redemption in the I’m a Celeb jungle, after being unexpectedly booted from Big Brother in 2022, just weeks before the series aired.
Following her win, the 30-year-old mother of two told Chattr, “There were so many lessons that I learned in the Jungle, and I felt like it taught me so much.”
In September, Daily Mail reported on Skye’s trip to Turkey, where she underwent a series of cosmetic procedures, including the controversial Fox Eye lift.
In a twist precisely no one saw coming, fans are currently in shock over the news that former Love Island Australia 2024 contestant Eilisha Purcell has rather famous family members.
As reported by The Daily Mail, Eilisha is actually the niece (through marriage) of Tish Cyrus. Yes, Miley Cyrus‘ mother.
How is Eilisha related to Miley Cyrus?
Fans recently spotted on Eilisha’s Instagram account that she had been a guest at Tish Cyrus’ wedding to Australian actor Dominic Purcell.
As it turns out, Eilisha is Dominic’s niece, and his marriage to Tish now makes them aunt and niece. By extension, that would mean Eilisha and Miley are now step-cousins as well.
“Throwback to an amazing wedding celebrating love,” Eilisha wrote on her Instagram post featuring photos from the August 2023 celebrity wedding, held at Miley’s Malibu home.
Australian Survivor is known for its picturesque, remote locations — but where exactly is the 2025 season filmed?
Australian Survivor doesn’t have just one home. Over the years, it’s been filmed on the idyllic beaches of Fiji, the blindingly blue shores of Vanuatu, and even in the Australian country town of Cloncurry.
Australian Survivor host Jonathan LaPagliaconfirmed that the 2025 instalment was filmed in the oceanic country when he shared a photo of himself standing next to a Samoan number plate.
“Well that’s a wrap! 2 more (cracking’) seasons of #SurvivorAU snuffed. All I gotta do now is get my full license,” he captioned the pic posted in October.
Jonathan’s post confirmed that both Australian Survivor 2025 seasons — Brains v Brawn and Australia v The Worldwere filmed in Samoa.
But, where exactly in Samoa was Australian Survivor 2025 filmed?
Samoa consists of two islands, and it takes about four hours to drive around the main island, Upolu. So, while Samoa isn’t exactly big — there are plenty of places where the series could be filmed.
Unfortunately for us, there are no specific details about where the 2025 season was filmed just yet. However, below are some of the most memorable locations that featured onAustralian Survivor 2024.
To Sua Ocean Trench
To Sua Ocean Trench is located on Upolu and is dubbed by travellers as one of the top swimming holes in the world.
A quick Instagram location search spawns hundreds of thousands of results, and it’s understandably one of Samoa’s most popular locations.
Some of the Australian Survivor 2024 cast got the chance to visit the famous swimming hole as part of a reward challenge.
Matareva Beach
The Rebels vs Titans crew built their camps on Matareva Beach in Upolu. The 2024 series was filmed right outside of the conservation area on the famous beach.
The popular white sand beach is lined with palms and black rocks, and it’s a popular snorkelling destination. The beach has recently been recognised as a Marine Conservation Area, and an initiative is underway to develop coral and replant it in the area to help marine life thrive.
Sheraton Beach Resort Mulifanua
Ever wondered what the Australian Survivor crew do when they’re not filming our latest batch of castaways? Well, some of them are staying at Sheraton Beach Resort Mulifanua.
The hotel housed many of the Australian Survivor 2024 camera people and producers. However, not all of the crew are flown in.
Last year, the show employed around 300 people per week and, overall, had more than 500 Samoans on its payroll, according to Samoa Tourism.
Oh, the things we’d do to see Jonathan’s digs!
Australian Survivor 2025 will air on Channel 10 and 10Play.
Well, kids. Grab the popcorn because Movie Night is on its way, and our Love Island Australia 2024 singles don’t know what’s about to hit them.
Nine has dropped the list of movie titles coming to the big screen for Love Island Australia‘s Movie Night, and fans have some predictions about what they’ll cover.
What is Love Island’s Movie Night?
If you’re new to the concept of Love Island Australia‘s Movie Night, allow us to help. Essentially, it’s a night where the contestants cosy up to watch a series of short movies consisting of hidden moments they didn’t expect to be shared.
In short: it usually highlights the nasty things Islanders have been saying behind one another’s backs.
What is being shown during Movie Night 2024?
We don’t know exactly what’s coming our way just yet, but here are the movie titles Channel Nine has shared.
Love Island Australia Movie Night titles
The Long Kiss Goodnight
Illegally Blonde
Groundhog Tay
Saving Private Dylan
Mean Girls
Bad Boys
Get Her To The Greek
Those titles don’t give away all that much, but Love Island Australia fans still have some theories running for Movie Night.
Fan predictions for Love Island Australia’s 2024 Movie Night
The Long Kiss Goodnight will feature Sophie and Zane
“The long kiss goodnight is totally Sophie and Whats his face’s ‘just a kiss goodnight’ at the hotel,” they wrote.
Over on Facebook, fans are feeling much the same.
“Dylan is about to see how he got played by Sophie,” one user wrote.
In case you’re a little behind, this references the steamy weekend Zane and Sophie spent together when they were paired together for Hotel Amor… Dylan Towolawi (who is coupled with Sophie) behaved himself while in Hotel Amor with Mimi Paranihi.
Taylor’s repetitive approach with the girls will be exposed
Another fan shared, “My best guess is ‘Groundhog Tay’ Is gonna be Taylor [Reid] saying the same exact things to multiple girls hahaha.”
This was echoed by a Redditor who replied, “God, I hope so.”
‘Mean Girl’ behaviour will be called out — but we’re not sure whose
The movie title that has the most interest, it seems, is Mean Girls.
Some fans believe this movie will bring a little justice to the Islanders who have treated others poorly, while others worry it’ll affect their favourites. There is a fair amount of discussion online at the moment, with fans debating which Islanders will pop up, but the most popular names are Hannah Steinfeld, Kaylah Holmes, Em Miguel-Leigh and Mimi.
“I hope the “mean girls” is a throwback to Hannah and Eilisha [Purcell] at the beginning. We haven’t forgetten (sic),” shared one fan.
“I hope mean girls isn’t Em and Mimi I will crash out,” said another.
“I hope it’s the clip of Hannah, Kaylah and Krissy at the teepee hating on Em hanging out with Taylor in the pool. I want so badly for Hannah’s behavior to be exposed,” wrote a third Redditor.
“Get Mean Girl Hannah OUT,” said another.
“This is when the truth shines, and people’s real character comes out,” said a final fan – summarising the whole experience in one.
The only promo we have for this episode of the show highlights the Islanders getting riled up over the contents shown on Love Island Australia’s movie night, but we don’t have any clear hints about what’s coming just yet.
We’ll just have to wait and see, I guess! What do you think is headed to the big screen?
Stream Love Island Australia Mondays to Thursdays on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Fans of Home and Away have uncovered a potential spoiler in photos from scenes being filmed for 2025. The images appear to hint at the resolution of the nail-biting cliffhanger (involving Cash and Tim) from the November 2024 Home and Away finale.
What happened in the Home and Away 2024 finale?
The cliffhanger focused on Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright), Eden Fowler (Stephanie Panazzo), Tim Russell (George Pullar), and Nerida (Ellie Gall).
Police officer Cash and Eden were once a couple. Their relationship ended when Cash, convinced he was destined to lose the people he loved, pushed her away. Eden moved on with Tim, a therapist targeted by his obsessive former client, Nerida.
Nerida’s fixation turned dangerous, expanding to focus in on Eden as well. In the Home and Away finale, Cash was seen following Eden and Tim to warn them of trouble coming. The episode ended pretty damn dramatically, with Tim lying motionless on the ground and Cash kneeling beside him, his hands bloodied.
Fan theories surrounding Tim’s fate
The finale sparked heated discussions among Home and Away fans. On social media, viewers speculated about the events leading to Tim’s possible death:
“After watching this scene again, I think Nerida was involved in knocking out Tim & frames Cash for the incident,” one fan suggested.
“Regardless of how Tim died (assuming that he did), Cash is 100% responsible,” argued another.
“Cash did not kill Tim. I reckon it is Nerida. Cannot wait for 13.1.25,” a third chimed in.
Most Home and Away theories centre on Nerida’s likely involvement and the possibility of Cash being framed for a crime he didn’t commit.
What fans spotted in Home and Away filming photos
As was reported byYahoo Lifestyle, recent photos from the Home and Away set may provide a major hint about Cash’s storyline in 2025. The images show Cash Newman back in uniform, carrying out his duties as a police officer.
This detail suggests that Cash may not be held responsible for Tim’s fate—or that any accusations against him are resolved quickly.
Carina is a part-time actress represented by Now Actors, so it’s safe to say she’ll feel right at home in front of the MAFS cameras.
Her acting career includes roles in two short films and appearances in several commercials.
What is MAFS’ Carina’s job?
Carina is a true multi-hyphenate, holding a BA in Broadcast Journalism and a Diploma in Fashion and Textiles, as listed on her Now Actors profile.
When she’s not on the silver screen, she’s putting her digital marketing skills to use to promote her family’s business, Beyond Tools.
But her business ventures don’t stop there! According to her LinkedIn, she’s also the founder and creative director of the e-commerce fashion brand, MIRAB.
She’s a “firecracker”
If whispers are to be believed, it’s Carina’s strong personality that secured her spot in the experiment.
A source told So Dramatic!, “When you see her, you will know why she’s been cast.
“She’s a firecracker and will make for some interesting TV. She loves the high life and has wanted to be famous for years. She will definitely be one to call the paps.”
Daily Mail Australia is also hinting Carina will be one to shake things up, describing her as someone who could add “an interesting twist” to the experiment.
The outlet alleges MAFS show-runners are “eagerly anticipating how her bold personality will play out in the show’s pressure cooker environment.” We’re just as keen to see how she goes!
Married At First Sight Season 12 will air on Channel 9 and 9Now in 2025.
According to a source close to the Mafs Uncensored Instagram page, Awhina can be described as “a mum who loves to cook, bake, and host her own dinner parties.”
The source also reveals that the Perth-based Awhina enjoys nights out and doing makeup.
She’s not afraid to cause trouble
Described by Daily Mail Australia as having a “feisty edge,” Awhina is already earning a reputation as the wildcard of the season.
Her outspoken attitude and rule-breaking tendencies have reportedly earned the praise of the show’s producers.
“Awhina’s rule-breaking makes her unpredictable – and that’s exactly what makes her so captivating,” a production insider told the outlet.
“She’s bold, she’s fearless, and she’s got no problem confronting anyone who crosses her.”
MAFS’ Awhina is set to have beef with bride Jamie Marinos
Awhina’s dynamic with fellow MAFS 2025 bride Jamie Marinos is set to be one of the season’s biggest talking points.
According to Daily Mail, the two are frequently at the center of the show’s most dramatic moments.
Awhina’s TV groom is 31-year-old Adrian Araouzou, an entrepreneur and owner of the sports leisure brand PAKDsport.
Sources close to the Married at First Sight production claim the couple shares undeniable chemistry, telling Daily Mail they’re “one of the key couples set to steal the hearts of viewers.”
According to the outlet, the duo has already been spotted together off-camera checking into the luxurious One Global Resorts in Green Square (formerly Skye Suites).
But does this mean they’ve already left the show? With rumours of a few walkouts this season, it’s certainly not impossible!
Married At First Sight Season 12 will air on Channel 9 and 9Now in 2025.

Dylan Towolawi entered the Love Island Australia2024 villa on day one, and it didn’t take long for him to turn heads with his Irish charm, rugged good looks and, of course, that accent.
Here’s everything you need to know about Dylan.
Where is Love Island Australia’s Dylan from?
Dylan is from a quaint rural town in Ireland, where he was raised by his Nigerian father and Irish mother. Described in his Love Island bio as “down-to-earth,” he’s apparently not the kind of guy who’ll shy away from a relationship.
By day, Dylan works as a truck driver in the construction trade, but his true passion lies in fitness, and he has his sights set on becoming a personal trainer.
Dylan made the move to Sydney, Australia last year, drawn by the sun, and the chance of meeting someone special. His bio claims that if all goes well, he dreams of building a life here, with the right woman by his side.
What is Dylan looking for on Love Island?
It seems like Dylan is looking for the real deal.
“People look at me and think ‘fuckboy’ straight away,” he confessed during his intro. “But once they start talking to me, it’s lover-boy vibes, always.”
A self-proclaimed “CLB” or “Certified Lover Boy,” Dylan insists his “fuckboy boots are hung up.”
Who’s Dylan coupled up with?
He’s currently coupled with Sophie Mills, but their relationship has been rocky ever since Sophie’s hookup with Zane Prophet at Hotel Amor.
While the pair has been working to mend fences, fans can’t stop speculating about Dylan’s potential with Kiwi stunner Mimi Paranihi.
The two were previously paired in the villa but couldn’t quite make things work, leading Mimi to turn her attention to Frenchman and serial Love IslanderSteph Blackos instead.
Love Island Australia 2024‘s very own Greek god, Niko Fotopoulos, has certainly captured the attention of us mere mortals watching at home. Get to know him better with this guide to the Islander and his coupling journey ahead.
Who is Niko Fotopoulos?
Niko is a 28-year-old builder who lives in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Back home, he runs his own business and works incredibly hard at it – but family always remains a priority for this Love Island Australia single.
In a recent episode of Love Island, Niko revealed that he’s actually been on a TV show before.
“I actually drilled a screw through my hand when I was younger, and I was on a show called SavingKids,” he said.
Niko explained that as a 12-year-old, he was building a compost bin out of timber and screwed into his own hand accidentally – which got him onto the show, seemingly.
A slightly different experience to Love Island, but hey – the stakes are high here too.
What is Niko looking for on Love Island Australia?
Niko has spoken before about having his heart broken by an ex who cheated on him. But he’s said that now he’s ready to look for the real thing again.
In an interview with Love Island Australia producers, Niko said he is “definitely picky, physically”. His ideal girl has to have “dark features, good body – she works out. But, she has to have good feet,” he said.
“I want a girl that’s exactly like me: hot.”
In the earlier stages of the Love Island experience, Niko was coupled up with HannahSteinfeld. However, Hannah eventually shared with him that she’d become fond ofTaylorReid instead.
After the pair called time on their coupling, Niko was sent on a blind date with new Bombshell and fellow Greek hottie, MiaDalkos.
Almost immediately, the pair became smitten with one another. The only barrier that seems to trouble Niko and Mia at the moment is that their families live in different states.
The Love Island Australia 2024 cast is packed full of genetically blessed hotties who are ready to find love (and blue Instagram ticks) in Spain.
There’s no debating that the OG cast is drop-dead gorgeous, and they started causing chaos almost immediately. Throw some smoking hot Bombshells — who have been entering the villa thick and fast — into the mix, and it’s safe to say that Love Island Australia 2024 is an iconic season.
Of course, with limited beds in the Love Island villa, new bombshells mean that eliminations have been happening aplenty.
If you’re struggling to keep up with every Islander that has entered the villa in 2024, don’t worry because we’ve popped together a list of all the OG’s, as well as the Bombshells, for you below. You’re welcome.
Read on to learn more about the Love Island Australia 2024 cast.

If you’re one of the many people who have tucked into Netflix’s Territory, you’ve probably been wondering where the popular series’ scenes were filmed.
With the beautiful landscapes and stunning aerial shots—plus new research from YouGov and Toyota Australia showing that nine out of 10 Australians want to disconnect and go back to their roots—you wouldn’t be the only one.
We’re craving more meaningful travel experiences right now, and this show is making us hungrier than ever for them! OK, no more teasing.
As you may have guessed by its predominately Australian cast — including Anna Torv (The Last Of Us), Clarence Ryan (Furiousa: A Mad Max Saga), Dan Wylie (Wolf Like Me) and Sam Corlett (Vikings: Valhalla) — Territory was filmed in Australia.
Keep reading to see Territory‘s filming locations.
Where was Territory filmed?
Territory‘s production was supported by Screen Territory and the South Australian Film Corporation so yep, you guessed it, filming locations include the Northern Territory and South Australia.
As to be expected from the landscapes you see on the production (did you know the show was previously called Desert King?), a lot of the filming locations were in highly remote areas.
Actor Robert Taylor (who plays Colin Lawson) even found a big snake under his bed and in the sink during production. Yep, he told Cowboys & Indians, “You should have seen the one under the bed, dude. It was that fat.”
South Australia filming locations
Mallala
According to Greater SA, The Adelaide Plains town of Mallala was also a Territory filming location, with actors and cameras seen descending on the farming community to shoot scenes. It has been widely reported that this is the biggest Netflix series to be filmed in South Australia, and post-production also took place in the Aussie state.
Northern Territory filming locations
Kakadu National Park
Many Top End scenes were filmed in Kakadu National Park, one of the largest National Parks in Australia. Kakadu National Park was the filming location for the “Sorry Place” — a sacred site to the Indigenous people in Territory — and featured in numerous aerial shots throughout the series.
To get there yourself, you’ll need to drive roughly 240km from Darwin airport, depending on which part of the park you want to get to.
I was recently invited on a trip to Kakadu, where I drove a Toyota LandCruiser Prado — the perfect ride for an outback adventure (what’s more Aussie than that?!). With Toyota and YouGov’s research saying 11 million Aussies haven’t even visited the NT, it would be rude to not offer a three-day road trip itinerary for inspo.
Tipperary Station
While Marianne Station isn’t real, co-creator Ben Davies told if.com.au that they did in fact shoot at a cattle station in the Northern Territory.
According to AATKings, the cattle station filmed for Territory is Tipperary Station, a legitimate cattle station measuring 954,000 acres. Workers of Tipperary stations were even used as extras!
“We have just started shooting on a cattle station in the Northern Territory,” he told if.com.au back in September 2023.
“Of the 180 crew we have in the Territory, at least 140 are living on the station. It’s a monumental effort by production to pull this off in such a remote place.
“In terms of infrastructure and scale, this cattle property is unmatched anywhere else in the world, so fortunately, it can accommodate our large cast and crew.”
Darwin
A bunch of Territory scenes were filmed in and around Darwin, including Lee Point, which is where the coastal scenes of Nolan Brannock’s Laggan Downs property were shot. It’s also where Sandra Kirby (Sara Wiseman) wants to build her port in Territory.
Crab Claw Island Resort is another filming location, spotted when Sandra offers Emily Lawson a tempting deal.
Litchfield National Park
Remember when Susie Lawson (Phillippa Northeast) and Lachie Kirby (Joe Klocek) have a swim after a big day at Marianne Station? That’s Litchfield National Park’s Wangi Falls.
Territory is one of the most exciting Australian productions to have hit Netflix, and we’re not the only ones who think so — the six-part series quickly shot to the Top 10 and has been comfortably sitting there since its release in October 2024.
It also hit #3 in the global Top 10 English TV Show list within a week of its release date. How good is it to see outback Australia on the world map?!
The first bombshell of Love Island Australia 2024, Taylor Reid, wasted no time turning heads (and ruffling feathers). The 28-year-old has quickly become one of the season’s most polarising contestants, with one Redditor even deeming him “public enemy #1.”
But is Taylor the good guy he claims to be, or is there more to this story?
Here’s everything you need to know about him.
What do we know about Taylor?
Love Island isn’t Taylor’s first rodeo on reality TV. If he looks familiar, that’s because he was on Nine’s adventure show The Summit last year.
When he’s not on camera, Taylor works as a stevedore in Melbourne. While he might work a tough-guy job, according to his bio, he’s actually a softie with a “heart of gold.”
Fans, however, aren’t entirely sold. With his penchant for drama, “gaslighting,” and an apparent talent for stirring the pot, Taylor has been labelled by some as the villa’s “puppeteer.” Yikes!
What is Taylor looking for on Love Island Australia 2024?
Coming off a breakup after filming The Summit, Taylor has said he’s ready to find his next love.
He didn’t waste any time turning up the heat as he entered the villa. “I know what I want, and if I see something I like, I’m going to go for it,” he stated.
And just to set the record straight, according to the wharfie: “I’m not a fuck boy. I’m not a player. I’m a man, and I’m going to show these other boys what a real man is.”
Who’s Taylor coupled up with on Love Island?
Taylor’s Love Island journey has been, well… a journey.
He first coupled up with Em Miguel-Leigh, quickly becoming a fan favorite duo. But their connection fizzled when Em called it quits, wary of the love triangle brewing with HannahSteinfeld and KrissyBertone.
Next, Taylor set his sights on fellow Melbournian and nursing student Hannah. But just as sparks were beginning to fly, Hannah was dumped from the villa in a shock elimination.
Luckily for the two, Hannah returned to the villa, and Taylor wasted no time choosing her over his Hotel Amor flame Krissy. Now, the two seem closer than ever, but is this endgame? We’ll have to stay tuned.
Where can I follow Taylor on social media?
If you want to keep up with Taylor’s socials you can find hm on Instagram: @tayyreidand TikTok: @tayyreid.
Stream Love Island Australia Mondays to Thursdays on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Hannah Steinfeld has dreamed of stepping into the Love Island Australia 2024villa since she was 18. Now that her moment has arrived, the blonde beauty from Victoria has been at the heart of non-stop juicy drama as she chases her fairytale.
Per her Love Island intro in episode 1, she proudly calls herself “100% a princess.”
What is Hannah looking for on Love Island Australia 2024?
Since arriving in the villa on day one, Hannah has had one clear goal: finding love.
“I’ve literally been manifesting it. I’m actually going to find my boyfriend and potential future husband by the end of the year,” she stated in that first episode.
Who’s Hannah coupled up with on Love Island?
Hannah began her Love Island journey paired with Niko Fotopoulos. Her search for love hit a major snag in episode 17 when she was unexpectedly dumped after bombshell Mia Dalkosstole Niko, right as Hannah was building a connection with fellow Melbournian stevedore Taylor Reid.
But her time in the villa wasn’t over just yet. Hannah came back to the villa in episode 19, armed with a heartfelt speech about her feelings for Taylor, which fellow Islander Mimi wasn’t a fan of. In the end, Taylor chose her over KrissyBertone during the recoupling ceremony.
Since then, Hannah and Taylor have been inseparable. She even described herself as “the definition of a simp at the moment” and confessed to fellow Islander KaylahHolmes in episode 21, “I swear he’s my person.”
But will their romance be one for the books? Only time will tell.
