Dream Home 2024: Meet ying and yang couple Jacinta and Jordan

Dream Home Australia 2024′s Jacinta and Jordan know the importance of having fun while renovating.

The married couple are focused on creating the best spaces they can for their fellow cast-mates but happily take on the rigorous task with a light-hearted energy.

Here’s everything we know about Jacinta and Jordan.

Jordan and Jacinta’s relationship

Jordan and Jacinta’s relationship is a case of opposites attract.

Jordan is an accountant, and he considers himself cool, calm and collected. According to his Channel 7 bio, he’ll “be keeping a close eye on the budget during the competition.”

Meanwhile, Jacinta is “loud, bubbly and assertive”.

“She’ll call a spade a spade as she brings her big design ideas to life — and she says she won’t take no for an answer,” her bio reads.

Jacinta and Jordan’s house

Jacinta and Jordan handed over their keys to Channel 7, and they’ll be receiving a house back that’s been fully renovated by their fellow competitors.

The married couple owns a house in Punchbowl, NSW, which is a south-western suburbs that borders Bankstown.

The house is completely run down, and, prior to Dream Home, the couple and their daughters Amelia, five, and Olivia, two, have had to live in Jacinta’s grandparents one bedroom granny flat in order to save enough money for their renovations.

Jacinta and Jordan are hoping that their fellow home renovators will use wooden floors, crisp white walls and herringbone bathroom tiles in their space.

And, with a background in construction, Jacinta will likely have high expectations.

“I grew up around construction as most of my family are tradies,” she told Women’s Weekly. “I always loved taking part in any renovation project anyone around me had.”
