It’s that time of year again — a bunch of celebrities have headed into the South African jungle to undertake Tucker Trials and outrageous challenges for I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025.
Ahead of the new season, clues were dropped thick and fast about who will be appearing in the series, and now the cast members have been confirmed.

Sigrid Thornton
A-list actress Sigrid Thornton joined the cast of I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 in episode 6. With a career spanning over 40 years, Sigrid is known for her roles in The Man From Snowy River and popular TV shows such as SeaChange, Amazing Grace, and Wentworth.
Harrison Reid
Bondi Rescue’s Harrison Reid joined the I’m a Celebrity Australia 2025 cast during episode 2. Harrison has been a lifeguard for eight years and scored his job after being accepted into a traineeship at Bondi Beach.
Matty J
Ahead of the premiere on January 19, former The Bachelor lead Matt Johnson (known on The Bach as Matty J) was confirmed as the first cast member heading into the jungle.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to share the news about his latest gig.
“Cat (or lion) is out of the bag! It’s always been a dream of mine to survive in the African jungle on nothing but zebra testicles and cold beans and this year it’s going to be a reality. Wish me luck!” he wrote, alongside a promotional photo.
Nicky Buckley
Nicky Buckley has been a TV host of multiple shows, including Sale of the Century and Perfect Match. She was also on Dancing with the Stars in 2005.
Max Balegde
Max Balegde is a TikTok star who has amassed over 3.5 million followers. Max regularly posts hilarious celebrity interviews on the platform.
Samantha Moitzi
Samantha Moitzi is best known for starring on Married at First Sight 2021, she was paired with Al Perkins.
While the pair built a romantic connection at the start, they left during a Commitment Ceremony before the Final Vows.
“There’s a lot of self reflection that you do throughout the experiment. A lot of learning and a lot of talking about your emotions, which I realised I don’t like talking about my emotions,” she told 9Now shortly after leaving the show.
“And I’m actually quite an emotional person — apparently — I cried a lot.”
Shayna Jack
Shayna Jack is an Olympic swimmer who won two gold medals for Australia in women’s freestyle in Paris.
Dave Hughes
Dave Hughes is an Australian comedian and TV personality. He’s hosted multiple radio shows and was a panellist on The Masked Singer Australia.
Sam Thaiday
Sam Thaiday is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Brisbane Broncos.
Reggie Bird
Reggie Bird is the only two time Big Brother Australia winner. She first won the show in 2003 and again in 2022. She suffers from Ushers Syndrome and was declared legally blind in 2008 after losing 90 per cent of her central vision.
Geraldine Hickey
Geraldine Hickey is an Australian comedian who recently starred in ABC’s Fisk.
Zach Tuohy
Zach Tuohy is an AFL player who played for the Geelong Cats from 2017 to 2024. Prior to that, he played for Carlton from 2011 until 2016.
Tina Provis
Tina Provis found fame on Love Island Australia 2021. She went on to return for Love Island Australia 2022 and competed on Love Island Games Season 1.
She won the first season with her then-boyfriend Mitch Hibberd. While the couple broke up shortly after filming wrapped, they rekindled their spark when they returned to the show for the second time.
