The cast clues for I’m a Celebrity 2025 have been piling up in the lead-up to the premiere, but it seems Channel 10 has made a small slip-up, confirming one star for the jungle: Aussie TV presenter Nicky Buckley.
Who is Nicky Buckley?
Nicky is one of Australia’s most familiar faces in media. She began her career in modelling before moving to the small screen, where she became co-host of Channel 10’s Perfect Match.
Over the decades, she’s graced Aussie screens as the host of shows like Sale of the Century and a competitor on Dancing With The Stars.
Now, it looks like the 59-year-old is gearing up for a whole new challenge, to take on the wilds of South Africa on I’m A Celebrity 2025!
I’m a Celebrity’s accidental reveal
As the I’m A Celebrity 2025 premiere approaches, hosts Julia Morris and Robert Irwin have been dropping a host of clues about the incoming cast.
One recent teaser video hinted: “She’s a TV host who’s no stranger to the fame game, but can she take out the jungle jackpot?”
Another teaser shared by Channel 10 on Monday 6 January featured the disguised “mystery contestant” with her face obscured, and voice distorted.
However, the network missed one small but crucial detail: Nicky’s unmistakable engagement ring, which was a pretty dead give-away. Oops!
Even without the ring, the emoji clues accompanying the video on Instagram alone screamed Nicky: a TV, rain cloud, and dancing woman.
“It’s Nicky Buckley. TV – Famous Faces on Sale. Rain Cloud – She was a weather presenter. Salsa Dancer – She was on Dancing With The Stars,” one savvy commenter deduced.
Still, the unintentional ring reveal was the icing on the cake.
