Binge has released a brand-new trailer for the adult animated comedy series Velma, and when we tell you it’s NSFK (not safe for kids), we mean it!
Featuring the voice of The Mindy Project’s Mindy Kaling, the Scooby gang is back, and this time there’s a twist.
In the first episode alone, there’s nudity, murder and a whole lotta hijinx we didn’t see coming, and basically, we’re adding it to our must-watch list immediately.
Premiering on January 12, with new episodes dropping every Thursday, Velma tells the origin story of Velma Dinkley (Mindy Kaling), the “unsung and under-appreciated brains” of the Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. gang.
According to the streaming service, the ten-episode series is an “original and humorous spin” on the comic that promises to “unmask the complex and colourful past of one of America’s most beloved mystery solvers.
