The crème de la crème of film Awards ceremonies is here! Here’s how you can watch the 2024 Oscars from the comfort of your living room, right here in Australia.

Tune in to watch nominees Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper and Emily Blunt cruise down the red carpet at the 96th Acadamy Awards and find out if any of the Barbie cast manage to actually nab an Oscar!

When can I watch The Oscars 2024?

Channel Seven will be broadcasting live and exclusive coverage of Hollywood’s night of nights, here’s how to watch.

The Oscars Red Carpet Show will kick off at 9.30am AEDT on Channel 7 on Monday, March 11th and stream live nationally on 7plus.

Then, The Oscars Ceremony will be live and exclusive from 10.00am AEDT on Channel 7 and will stream live nationally on 7plus, with an encore screening at 8.30pm, straight after Australian Idol’s live verdict show.

Over on 7Bravo, E! Live From The Red Carpet: The 2024 Oscars will play out from 7.00am AEDT, followed by the Red Carpet Rundown at 9.30am.

Who is hosting The Oscars?

Reigning Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel will be back again, he hosted the Academy Awards last year, and in 2017 and 2018.

Only Johnny Carson, Billy Crystal, and Bob Hope have hosted the awards show more than Kimmel.

Who will present on stage at the ceremony?

Joining Kimmel on stage as presenters will be Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh and Zendaya.

Who is performing?

Praise the Oscars producers, because Ryan Gosling will be gracing the stage with the iconic I’m Just Ken.

Also performing are fellow nominees on Batiste, Becky G, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, Scott George and the Osage Singers, and Mark Ronson

Who is nominated for an Oscar?

Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things are among the films that have received the most nominations, while Oppenheimer led the charge with 13.
