If you can believe it, awards season is back again for 2024 and first up are the Golden Globe Awards! Here’s how to watch all the action in Australia on the same day as the US!
For the second year in a row, Stan will be the home of the Awards ceremony and it will be streaming live and on-demand from Los Angeles on Monday, January 8.
Now in its 81st year, the ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and is the first ceremony produced by Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge Industries and will be directed by Glenn Weiss.

- The red carpet arrivals begin streaming live from 11am AEDT.
- The three-hour awards ceremony will air from 12pm AEDT.

Who is hosting the Awards ceremony?
Comedian Jo Koy will host the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards for the very first time.
“I’ve stepped onto a lot of stages around the world in my career, but this one is going to be extra special,” he said in a statement. “I’m so excited to be hosting the Golden Globes this year! This is that moment where I get to make my Filipino family proud. Mahal Kita (Google it)!”
Who will present on stage at the ceremony?
Among the list of presenters are Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Yeoh, Ben Affleck and Dua Lipa. Joining them are Angela Bassett, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Annette Bening, Mark Hamill, Kevin Costner, Jonathan Bailey, Orlando Bloom, Will Ferrell and more!
