My Kitchen Rules (MKR) is well underway for 2024, and front runners are quickly emerging in the competition. If watching all that cooking prowess has you thinking, “I could totally do that,” here’s your guide on how to apply to MKR for the 2025 season.
Let’s take a peek at the rules and requirements of applying to the show, so you can get cooking and start impressing the MKR judges, Manu Fieldel and Colin Fassnidge.
How do I apply to MKR?
Network Seven currently has an ‘Apply Now’ button listed on the MKR page of its 7Plus website. If you head there, you’ll be taken through to the page dedicated to casting for MKR 2025.
You can click here to check that out.
When do applications close?
A closing date for MKR 2025 casting applications wasn’t listed, but we’ve reached out to the team behind the show for clarification on that one.
Are there rules for applying for MKR 2025?
There sure are.
If you’d like to apply to be a cast member of MKR 2025, there are a few conditions you need to keep in mind ahead of sending in your application.
First, you must apply in a team of two, and this team must be made up of people with a prior relationship (friends, partners, relatives and so on). Cast members must be 18 or older, and they need to be Aussie citizens or permanent residents, as well.
You’ll need photos of both team members (get your headshots ready), and if you’d like to submit a video, it must be 3 minutes or shorter.
You can have a read through all the rules for applying to MKR 2025 here, and the full terms and conditions are available here.
Watch MKR on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7.30 pm on 7 and 7plus.
