Here's how much the celebrities are getting paid for Dancing With The Stars

There’s some seriously big names competing on Dancing With The Stars 2024, which has naturally led fans to wonder how much they’re getting paid for their time.

This year’s Dancing With The Stars cast features an array of reality TV stars, sports heroes and actors, who’ve all taken a chunk of time away from their normal line of work to rehearse and compete on the popular show.

But, a Woman’s Day article has reported that all of the celebs aren’t paid a blanket fee, and there are a few names who are getting paid a whole lot more than their fellow co-stars.

Are the celebrities paid by episode?

Apparently not, the insider told the lifestyle publication that the celebrities work out the sum they’ll be receiving before they sign up for the show.

“The sign-on fee is like a salary, ultimately it doesn’t matter when they are eliminated or in this case are forced to sit out, they take that money home regardless,” they explained.

How much have past Dancing With The Stars contestants been paid?

The Dancing With Stars contentsant’s salary appears to have changed dramatically since 2023. According to Woman’s Day, last year’s contestants were all paid the same amount.

“The cast all rehearsed and trained as if they were going to the finale. They all put in the same amount of time, so they were all paid for five weeks of their time,” a source told the publication.

“It was a one-price-fits-all of just under $50,000 each.”
