This season of FBoy Island Australia has been a ride, to say the least. The season sees three women – Krystal Thomas, Nicole Mitrov and Ally Woodfall – try and find love with a self-proclaimed Nice Guy, weeding out the FBoys in the process.
But for Ally, the journey has been anything but smooth sailing.
Since becoming smitten and having eyes for what seems like one man and one man only – Joe Blanch – the leading lady has been dealt her fair share of obstacles, with two men deciding to walk out on her for what seems like tunnel vision.
Now, with the finale on the horizon (with host Abbie Chatfield telling us that it’s “chaos”), fans are wondering how Ally’s story will end and if Joe really is an FBoy like so many people believe.
While we still need to wait a little longer to find out, Chattr sat down with Ally ahead of the Season 2 launch – and we think there might be some hints about how everything ends with her.
“I think my journey throughout the season is definitely showing a lot of growth,” Ally tells Chattr in an interview, reflecting on her journey this season. “I definitely came in with different expectations.”
“It was a lot more emotionally challenging than I really expected,” she continues. “You know, you sort of go on to FBoy Island, and do you think it’s going to be just a bit of a laugh, a lot of fun, and an experience.”
“I think for me, it all kind of hit me like a ton of bricks,” she says.
Does Ally end up with Joe from FBoy Island Australia?
There have been rumours swirling for weeks that Ally’s journey is tumultuous, to say the least. “There’s lots of drama with her, and it doesn’t end well,” her ex Vernon Lyon told So Dramatic!.
Fans have now been left wondering if her number one Joe is actually an FBoy who walks away with the prize money.
While we’ll need to wait until the finale to see how it pans out, Ally does say that the journey allowed her to grow and be vulnerable.
“It’s definitely a lot of growth and vulnerability,” she says. “When I started the whole process, I was six months out of a really bad relationship. So for me to come back into something like this, I already have my walls up and was really scared to get hurt.”
“It’s definitely a journey.”
