Since its inception, it’s been the Cupid for farmers across the country, leading to countless romances, nine marriages, and 21 children – with the latest FWAW bundle of joy arriving in December 2023.

Chris Newsome and Kim Tierney
Season 1 (2007)
Chris and Kim are the OG couple from FWAW. These two lovebirds met in the first season and tied the knot in the second season, with their wedding filmed for all to see.
Fast forward, they’re now parents to two adorable kids.
Chris admitted he was slow to warm up, but with Kim, it felt like he’d known her forever. Today, they’re living the idyllic family life on their farm.
Rob Hodges and Jo Fincham
Season 2 (2008)
Rob and Jo’s story is a classic case of opposites attract: a Mount Gambier cattle farmer and a city girl.
They clicked instantly and went on to marry and have three beautiful children. Jo moved from the city to the farm, before the family started their new chapter in Noosa.
Damian Atkins and Rachael Peynenborg
Season 3 (2009)
Damian and Rachael’s journey began in 2009, before tying the knot on the banks of the Mersey River, at their property at Mole Creek, and they’ve been inseparable since.
The Tasmanian farmer and his wife are now busy juggling their farm business and raising three kids.
Scott Warby and Clare Spark
Season 4 (2009)
Scott and Clare’s love story involved a long-distance romance after the show.
Clare moved from Brisbane to Scott’s farm in rural Mundingi after he proposed. Now married with two kids, Clare gushed to TV Week in 2020 about Scott’s enduring romantic gestures and their fulfilling life on the farm, saying he was still “very romantic”.
Brad Crane and Stacie Marmion
Season 4 (2009)
Brad and Stacie are another sweet success from season four.
Brad was smitten from day one and proposed just six months after they started dating. They now have three daughters and live a blissful life. Love that for them!
Nathan McClymont and Amanda Ecker
Season 5 (2010)
Nathan and Amanda hold the record for one of the fastest proposals in the show’s history.
Nathan popped the question during the season finale, and Amanda said yes! They’re now the proud parents of three boys and still as in love as ever.
Frank Atherton and Tenille Jolly
Season 7 (2011)
Frank and Tenille’s connection was instant. Two years after their first speed date on the show, Frank proposed on Valentine’s Day.
Now married and raising their son, Oliver, on Frank’s Queensland property, their love story is a testament to the show’s magic.
Sam Alford and Jodie Byrne
Season 8 (2012)
Sam and Jodie’s love story saw Jodie moving from Sydney to WA to be with her farmer.
Sam proposed over Christmas 2012, and they married in 2015. Their son, River, was born in 2018, and they continue to enjoy their rural life together.
Jess Nathan and Andrew Guthrie
Season 11 (2021)
Jess and Andrew knew they were right for each other early on and even considered leaving the show.
But they stayed for the fans and continued their romance long-distance for 11 months. Jess eventually moved in with Andrew and got engaged.
As of this year, it looks like the pair have tied the knot as of a few months ago, with Jess posting a sweet pic of her and her husband with the caption, “Forever isn’t enough.”
Harry Lloyd and Tess Brookman
Season 12 (2022)
Harry and Tess’s love story involved a significant move for Harry, who left his rural life for the Gold Coast to be with Tess as she finished her studies before they both headed to Far North Queensland where Jess nabbed a job as a psychologist.
Will Simpson and Jess Cova
Season 12 (2022)
Jess moved to Will’s farm in Berriwillock, Victoria, and the couple hasn’t looked back.
They share their fun-filled country life on social media, with Jess joining the local netball team and adopting a Dachshund puppy. Living the dream!
Matt Young and Olivia Benic
Season 13 (2023)
Matt and Olivia hit it off from the start. Although they don’t live on Matt’s family farm, they are building a life together in Canberra, where Matt works for the Department of Agriculture.
They plan to return to rural life someday, but for now, they’re enjoying their time together, with the pair revealing in October they were embarking on their “first overseas trip together” to Fiji.
Brad Jones and Clare Hockings
Season 13 (2023)
Brad and Clare’s relationship moved quickly; they announced they were expecting soon after the season ended.
They welcomed their son, Roy, in December 2023, and are loving life as new parents.
David McMahon and Emily Gordon
Season 13 (2023)
David and Emily’s connection blossomed quickly. Emily moved to David’s apple farm in Queensland, and in October 2023, they got engaged at the spot of their first date.
Just last month, the pair celebrated their engagement party and still look smitten with one another.
Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders
Season 13 (2023)
Andrew and Claire exited the show early, confident in their love.
Claire moved to Andrew’s farm, and they’ve been enjoying life on the land. In March 2024, they got engaged, sharing their joy and gratitude for finding each other through the show.
