Rather than addressing their controversial podcast with MAFS’ Jack Dunkley, Dom Calarco and Ella Ding have released a new episode with Jono McCullough and Ellie Dix.
Dom and Ella faced criticism from fans – and Abbie Chatfield – over their podcast Sit With Us with Jack where they addressed Jack’s “muzzle” comment which was aimed at Lauren Dunn. The hosts came to the conclusion that he was “pushed” to make the comment.
Now, they’ve seen to take another swipe at Lauren, by having Jono and Ellie on the podcast who were more than happy to talk badly of her.
ICYMI, Lauren was married to Jono on MAFS, and he ended up dating their co-star Ellie.
What did Ella, Dom, Jono and Ellie say about Lauren?
Jono and Ellie have previously said that they don’t feel guilt over their relationship and accused Lauren of faking her feelings for her on-screen husband.
During the interview with Dom and Ella, they doubled down on the “pact” that Lauren and Jono had to fake their relationship until the end.
Upon hearing the (not-so-new) revelation, Dom commented that Lauren should go on “Home and Away or something”.
Jono also said that he and Tim Calwell were just “trying to make it through” the experiment while dating “really strong, slightly aggressive” women.
Dom added that she thinks Lauren and Sara Mesa would see the truth coming out in interviews and feel “stupid as hell”.
Fans react to Ella and Dom’s new podcast
Some fans aren’t happy that Lauren has come under fire once again in Dom and Ella’s podcast.
“What’s on the clipboard Dom? ‘Sledge Laura [Lauren] because we’re so obviously threatened by her it’s embarrassing’?” One person commented.
A second penned: “Women that don’t empower women 𤢠.”
A third commented: “You girls are deflecting in the interview pretty hard! I can completely understand why Lauren would have blocked you! You’ve got everyone else’s opinion but hers. You don’t even know her, or have tried to get to know her.”
