Channel Seven has confirmed that Dancing with the Stars Australia (DWTS) will return to TV screens in 2025, bringing another round of Australia’s biggest stars ready to hit the dance floor and show off their moves.

The first confirmed star to hit the dance floor in 2025 was the one and only Shaun Micallef. The beloved comedian and writer has earned five AACTA Awards, four Logies, and a Gold Logie nomination in his illustrious career. But can he dance? We’ll have to wait and see!

While an insider has told Yahoo Lifestyle that the upcoming season is looking to focus on Channel Seven talent, which could mean no stars from rival networks such as Masterchef Australia, I’m a Celebrity, or Australian Survivor on Network 10, or The Block on Channel Nine.
