Talk about a slow burn, a year later and the brutal trend of Reddit Roasting still continues.
What is Reddit Roasting you ask?
Simple, head to the Roast Me Reddit page, upload a picture of yourself holding a sign that says ‘/r/ Roast Me’ and watch as the fire starts to burn!
Seriously, this is a thing and people everywhere are voluntarily signing themselves up for intense verbal punishment served with a side of psychological scarring. The results are insanely hilarious yet fiercely guilt-evoking as you try not to laugh at the carnage before you. It’s okay if they asked for it right? I mean, if you can’t handle the heat get out of the kitchen.
Anyway, I sure hope these people have thick skin as I count down 10 of the best (or worst depending on your ethical standpoint) roasts…
1.
I’d say he has the ‘London Look’.
2.
Hannah Gadsby is that you?
3.
“That’s a Paddlin”.
4.
Just like the mum from ‘Home Alone’.
5.
Hey, there’s always hats.
6.
Whoa, too soon.
7.
Did you ask the tattoo artist for unemployed?
8.
Maybe she would have been the talented one.
9.
Wouldn’t that make him the burning man?
10.
RugBURRRN!
With all jokes aside the internet can be a daunting place and cyber-bullying is a serious issue. While these people may have asked to be roasted, the line between poking fun and humiliating can easily be crossed.
