Billion Dollar Playground

Billion Dollar Playground is flipping the script on real estate reality TV

When it comes to addictive and trashy reality shows, Binge tends to reign supreme. And, their latest upcoming instalment, Billion Dollar Playground (thankfully), doesn’t seem to buck this trend.

From Selling Sunset to Owning Manhattan, the reality TV genre is no stranger to fancy houses in expensive areas. However, Billion Dollar Playground will be switching things up a bit.

Instead of focusing on the rich people who occupy expensive properties, the new Australian show will hone in on the staff who service the demands of uber-wealthy guests who pay a premium for high-end vacation homes and ultimate holiday experiences.

The series follows the staff of Luxico, Australia’s leading luxury hospitality and concierge provider, and take places on Aussie shores.

Here’s everything you need to know about Billion Dollar Playground.

Billion Dollar Playground air date

The new reality show will air on 2025 on Binge. There’s no exact release date just yet, but stay tuned, because we’ll let you know as soon as there is.

What else do we know about Billion Dollar Playground?

Binge’s Billion Dollar Playground comes in collaboration with Australian production house, Ronde Media.

Speaking of the new show, Ronde Media said that it taps into the Australian audience’s interest in lavish lifestyles.

“The fascination with rich people and how they spend their money is endless, which is why we’re taking audiences inside some of the most luxurious properties on earth to witness the upstairs-downstairs dynamic between uber-wealthy jet-setters and the staff who service their every need,” he said.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have the Foxtel Group commissioning this incredible new series, which is poised to be the next new global-franchise in the luxe TV space”.
