The hotly anticipated Married at First Sight 2025 (MAFS) is just around the corner, with next season promising to be one of the juiciest yet!
The show hasn’t even begun and we’re already hearing rumours about which MAFS newlyweds are still together and which ones have called it quits.
One couple set to make a splash this season is Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels, who have already caused a stir given their familiar history!
So are Rhi and Jeff still together? Here’s what we know so far!
Rhi and Jeff’s pairing
Rhi is a fitness enthusiast from Victoria, juggling her IT account manager role at Seisma Group with a side passion for wellness.
She co-runs a fitness-focused Instagram page, train.in.au, with her friend Shayna, where the duo shares gym reviews and wellness tips.
A friend described her as fun-loving and open-hearted, telling Daily Mail Australia, “She’s absolutely stunning inside and out”.
Her MAFS groom Jeff, meanwhile, is no stranger to the silver screen.
After playing Aussie Rules football with the Balwyn Football Club, Jeff landed minor roles on TV and film, including a stint on Neighbours in 2017.
These days, he seems mostly focused on business, running two companies: Fi Water, a fruit-infused drink brand, and Splash Water, a hard seltzer label.
Their pre-MAFS history
Jeff and Rhi walked down the MAFS aisle during their televised wedding in late July 2024, but it seems their story started well before the experiment. Scandal!
Chattr can confirm that Rhi was already following Jeff on Instagram prior to filming, hinting that the two were acquainted before joining the show.
A leaked video from their wedding day, captured by an insider and shared by Daily Mail Australia and on MAFSGossip Instagram account, shows the moment Jeff recognised his bride as she walked down the aisle.
According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Rhi and Jeff were introduced in 2023 by mutual friend Abbey Holmes, a Survivor alum and football presenter.
The pair reportedly dated casually but “never became official.” Despite going their separate ways, they’ve stayed in touch and attend the same gym, Hurt Locker Richmond.
Are Rhi and Jeff still together?
It’s still early days for the MAFS couple, but photos shared on MAFSGossip show Jeff and Rhi holding hands while out and about, suggesting they’re off to a promising start after their “awkward reunion at the altar”.
That being said, Daily Mail has pinned Jeff as one of the season’s “big three” grooms, alongside Dave Hand and Billy Belcher, with all three set to deliver “plenty of memorable moments” this season.
